多媒体视讯会议技术的分析与比较

多媒体视讯会议技术的发展经历了基于电路交换网络和基于lP网络的两个阶段,随着网络宽带技术的发展和普及,多媒体视讯技术的逐步成熟,人们对多媒体视频业务及应用的概念逐步了解,并在视讯会议、远程医疗、远程教育、远程监控、家庭娱乐、流媒体技术、移动视频通信等多个方面都有的广泛应用。本文分析了H.320、H.323、SIP三种视讯技术,然后比较了它们的差异,最后得出SIP协议必将是多媒体视讯会议的主宰。     

Jubilee Conference in Honor of the Eighty-Fifth Anniversary of the Russian Book Chamber

ABSTRACT

The jubilee conference in honor of the 85th anniversary of the Russian Book Chamber (RBC) consisted of three parts: the 10th International Conference on Issues of Bibliology, a conference of the Association of Book Chambers, and a ceremonial session. The bibliology conference, the most important part, included discussion of such pressing problems as the decline of reading and book-buying in Russia, the difficulty of distributing books outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg, and the problems caused by lack of modern equipment in printing establishments. But progress has also been made, e.g., the RBC's establishment of a single information platform for all participants in the book trade.

基于SCOPUS 数据库的撤销会议论文研究

本文对SCOPUS 数据库收录的撤销论文进行统计分析,结果发现约 97% 的撤销论文是会议论文,学科领域集中于计算机科学,工程,商业、管理和会计学,2010 年和2011 年的撤销论文异常多,其余年份的撤销论文较少。撤销会议论文绝大多数由IEEE Computer Society 出版,会议举办地点多在中国城市,部分会议论文集的论文撤销率达到75%,不少会议论文由于违反了IEEE 出版原则而被撤销。撤销论文的总体学术影响力较低,论文被引用率为15.7%,篇均被引频次为0.33。

Reframing citizenship education in Beijing: competing views and strategies

This narrative documentary study depicts two approaches of citizenship education (CE) in Beijing over the past decade—change through curriculum development, versus change through the international exchange of ideals and practices. It reveals the varied interests of CE designers and the tensions arising from competing approaches to CE. Analysis unfolds three dimensions of CE in Beijing, i.e. CE as a civic mission advocated by Chinese scholars, as a diplomatic platform for local government to showcase the city’s image building, and as an authoritarian agent serving to resist notions and terminologies associated with the state’s political enemies. Reframing the citizenship discourses into these three dimensions allows us to order, conceptually, how we approach the function of CE in Beijing. The case of Beijing illuminates the methods, tensions, and likely future directions of CE in other Chinese polities, such as Hong Kong.     

Meeting the Great Challenge: What Growth-Oriented Writing of the 1960s and 1970s can Teach Us about Uniting the Individualistic and Social Aims of English Education

This study explores the relationship between two values that sit at the heart of English education: a commitment to democratic citizenship and a commitment to fostering students’ personal growth. Some scholars have argued that these values are often at odds and the ‘great challenge’ of the field is to unite the individualistic and social goals of English education. The study explores the commensurability of these aims by considering the way they were united in the growth-oriented practitioner writing composed in the decade after the Anglo-American Seminar on the Teaching of English in 1966. To conduct the study, I examined English Journal articles written between 1968 and 1978 to see if articles that emphasised students’ personal growth also attended to the goal of democratic citizenship. The analysis shows that while it may be rare for advocates of the personal growth model to attend to students’ development as citizens, these goals are not inherently incompatible. I conclude with closing remarks on what this study suggests about how the field might meet the ‘great challenge’ of uniting the individualistic and social aims of English.
