一类非奇异线性方程组的快速解法

通过对非奇异系数矩阵A的Jacobi分裂,利用Jacobi收敛的条件,把系数矩阵的逆通过级数的形式表示,从而找到了一条快速解决一类非奇异线性方程组的方法,即当系数矩阵A的Jacobi收敛时,使得线性方程组的解x=A-1b=D-1b,或者x=A-1b=1s b。最后给出三个例子,以说明这种方法的快速有效性。     

迭代矩阵的特征值之间的一个新关系及其应用

本文给出了很大一类p-弱循环矩阵条件下Jacobi迭代矩阵的特征值与相应的GPSD（GeneralizedPrecoditionedSimultaneousDisplacementMethod）迭代矩阵的特征值之间的一个新的关系式，并且建立了一种新的行列式的不变性（引理2）．此外，我们还给出了用二块GPSD方法求解大型稀疏最小二乘问题的收敛域，结果表明，适当选择参数后，GPSD方法比SOR方法要好．     

Convergence of Sequences and Series 2: Interactions Between Nonvisual Reasoning and the Learner’s Beliefs about their own Role

This paper examines the work of students who, when reasoning about real analysis, do so almost exclusively by means of verbal and algebraic reasoning, and tend not to incorporate visual images into their work. It examines the work of students from two parallel courses of introductory real analysis, whose reasoning ranges from those who introduce definitions appropriately and work with them competently, to those who cannot recall definitions and appear to manipulate notation without regard for its reference. It presents a theory that relates the differences to students expectations regarding their role as learners of mathematics. Throughout, the argument is illustrated with interview data from which the theory was inductively generated.

Is Mojo (En)De-Skilling?

Drawing on Bourdieu’s field theory, this paper examines how the Hindustan Times, one of the leading English dailies in India, integrates mojo (contraction of mobile journalism) into its journalistic practices. Further, this paper explores how journalists respond to the concomitant changes brought about by the adoption of technologised practices in the newsroom. The analysis of qualitative data obtained from participant-observation and in-depth interview reveals that the practice of mojo, which is about learning new apps and tools, producing short videos by and for mobile devices, and disseminating news to digital readers through multiple platforms, emerges as a new rule in the field of journalism. Instead of depending solely on a team of mobile journalists, the newspaper aims to develop capabilities and impart training to journalists across the board in the newsroom. This study also reveals that journalists at the Hindustan Times experienced the practice of mojo as both en-skilling and de-skilling.
