高职院校《社会调查研究方法》教学中学生人文科学精神的培养——从“参与式观察”教学实践谈起

参与式观察作为重要的基础性社会研究方法被广泛应用。在高职院校《社会调查研究方法》教学过程中,通过导入街角社会实践主题,不仅可以激发学生的学习兴趣和实践热情,还可以使书本上的知识点成为学生观察了解社会的钥匙。在参与式观察实践中,重在培养学生的社会责任感,提高人文精神和科学素养。     

知识转移视角的运营管理课程教学方法研究——以美国德雷克大学为例

运营管理课程给教师授课和学生学习提出了很高的挑战,从知识转移视角出发,课程教学知识转移模型由知识转移主体、知识转移媒介、知识转移情境和知识特性等因素组成,根据美国德雷克大学的运营管理教学实践,知识转移视角的运营管理课程教学应采用如下对策:采用多种手段增加教师知识存量;精心设计教学内容,提高授课针对性;教学方式由个人教学向团队教学转变;采用多种教学手段进行授课,提高学生学习积极性。     

全纳教育理念下的教师教学个性探析

全纳教育是当代教育重大发展趋势之一,它将教师和学生共同纳入教育视野,倡导师生在教育教学过程中的共同参与、共同体验、共同享受和共同发展。在全纳教育理念的观照下,教师的教学个性具有更加重要的价值,教师鲜明的教学个性成为培养学生个性、实现师生共同成为教学主体以及充分合作的必要条件。但现实教学中又存在教师教学个性缺失的问题。培养教师的教学个性,除了教师个人的自我提升,还要从日常教学管理、师资培训和教师评价制度等方面进行改革。     

项目管理课程教学方法改革与实践

随着北京奥运会和上海世博会的成功举办,各种各样的新项目如雨后春笋般不断涌现,以项目为中心按照团队进行管理的组织结构更加适合现代竞争的需要,而组织是否拥有大量优秀的项目管理人才已经成为企业生存、发展以及参与国际竞争的关键。但是在高校项目管理教学中还存在很多弊端,针对项目管理课程的特点及教学中存在的问题,我们在该课程的教学过程中进行了教学内容、教学方法和手段的改革和实践。     

青少年应对效能的培养

本文在简要概括心理学家对青少年应对效能、应对方式和心理健康水平之间的关系的研究成果基础之上,论述了教师和家长怎样帮助青少年培养他们的应对效能。     

Understanding aims and values of science: developments in the junior cycle specifications on nature of science and pre-service science teachers’ views in Ireland

Irish science education is aiming to develop post-primary students’ knowledge of and about science through the introduction of ‘nature of science’ (NOS) in the new junior cycle science specification. This study aimed to investigate pre-service science teachers’ views about a particular aspect of NOS, namely the aims and values of science. Aims and values in relation to science can be considered from epistemic, cognitive, cultural, social, political, moral and ethical perspectives. In this paper, we focus on the epistemic, cognitive and social aims and values of science to provide a broad overview and investigate pre-service science teachers’ understanding of them. Qualitative methods are used to highlight two case studies that provide an in-depth record of how pre-service science teachers interpret aims and values of science. Although the sample is limited in terms of its generalisability to pre-service teacher education at large, the study provides a framework for (a) what to target and investigate about NOS in science education, particularly about aims and values of science, and (b) how pre-service science teachers are likely to make sense of such relatively new curricular goals. Implications for pre-service science teacher education are discussed.

Between survival and vision: Boundary-crossing Arab teachers in Jewish schools and Arab teachers in their community

This mixed-methods study examined the experiences of belonging/otherness among Arab teachers in Israel. A group of boundary-crossing teachers: Arab teachers in Jewish schools (AJ; N = 57) was compared with Arab teachers teaching in their own community (AA; N = 103). We found that the AJ group had a multicultural orientation, unlike the AA group, who were community-orientated. These orientations are reflected in different otherness sources, different motivations for selecting a workplace, and differences in identity ratings. While professional and social sources promoted teachers’ sense of belonging in the two groups, the source of AJs' sense of otherness was the national divide as opposed to community-oriented aspects in AAs. Selfefficacy ratings were high in both groups with a significant advantage for AJs, an unanticipated finding given that most of them were women, had attended teacher training colleges rather than universities, and were rarely homeroom teachers. Arab teachers' involvement in Jewish schools was partial with a low proportion of classroom educators or teachers in managerial roles. AJs tend to leave their national identity outside the school, and are not involved in political discourse or in the staffroom power relations. The phenomenon of integrating AJs is relatively new, and within a segregated education system that limits the opportunities for Jews and Arabs to meet, it can provide a viable, albeit limited, tool to inhibit prejudice and antagonism between Jews and Arabs.
