媒体关注对代理成本的影响

以2007～2010受到处罚的违规公司为样本,研究了媒体关注对代理成本的影响,发现在监管机构开始对公司的违规行为调查前,有32.1%的公司受到了媒体的负面报道和质疑。通过实证研究发现:有媒体关注公司的代理成本较低,并且媒体关注使违规严重公司的代理成本减少得较多;相对于没有媒体关注的公司,有媒体关注公司的独立董事使公司的代理成本减少得较多。因此,媒体在公司治理中发挥了重要治理作用,媒体关注已经成为了公司治理的重要组成部分。     

How did Americans Really Think About the Apple/FBI Dispute? A Mixed-method Study

ABSTRACT

Second-level agenda-setting suggests that news media influence how we think. As a case study examining the nature and effects of mainstream news media’s coverage of the 2015 Apple/FBI dispute about data privacy versus national security, this study found via content analysis that a majority of articles covering the dispute (73.7%) made the same potentially misleading claim about how the American public feels about the dispute. Nearly half (45.6%) of those articles made public opinion claims without offering empirical evidence, and almost all articles (97.4%) that cited the Pew survey appeared to have inadvertently created an unsubstantiated social reality. Then, this study found in a subsequent experiment that, consistent with impersonal influence, the above-mentioned news portrayals significantly affected the participants’ view on Americans’ collective opinion towards the Apple/FBI dispute. The long-term effect of this journalistic oversight is notable. Theoretical implications and practical recommendations for future science communication in the news are discussed.     

Him Too? Cristiano Ronaldo and the News Coverage of a Rape Case Allegation

ABSTRACT

This paper uses critical thematic analysis to explore the news media coverage of a rape allegation case against the football player Cristiano Ronaldo. After providing the context of the case, we examine the literature on how rape cases are represented by the news media. We then proceed to a critical thematic analysis of a purposive sample of Portuguese national newspapers, first identifying ten sub-themes in a total of 140 news stories and opinion columns and then considering the patterns of three critical themes that tended to dismiss the allegations, highlight the seriousness of the allegations and neutralize sexual victimization. Each of these considers prevailing ideologies, news values and journalistic practices.

指出依托社会人际网络理论指导建立便于进行危机信息采集的内外人际网络关系模型,将有助于提高危机预警信息管理的准确性和有效性。分析关系强度理论和结构洞理论与企业危机信息采集的关系,提出依托关系强度理论构建企业内部人际网络模型,依托结构洞理论构建企业外部人际关系网络模型;认为可以通过社会人际网络获取危机预警信息,同时社会人际网络可为企业危机信息管理提供重要智力资源。     

基于结构洞的科研团队隐性知识共享效果测度研究

以社会网络结构（网络密度、结构洞与网络桥和网络中心性）与社会网络互动（交流频度、亲密程度、联系强度）为测度指标,探讨培训、完全导师制、虚拟网络式和学习型社区4种不同的共享模式对高校科研团队隐性知识共享这种实践性、内隐性和复杂性较强的共享的影响。
     

地方高校图书收藏覆盖程度的动态变化

地方高校馆藏图书收藏的覆盖程度影响馆藏整体的实用性、完备性和系统性,同时也影响到读者对学科专业教学和科研资源的需求。台州学院图书馆2001-2008年新收藏图书的覆盖情况的调查统计数据,揭示了现有馆藏图书的时空变化特征与馆藏图书覆盖情况动态变化的原因。造成馆藏图书资源覆盖率变化差异的主要原因是地方高校规模发展迅速、图书经费增幅有限、学科专业结构调整和图书出版品种数量猛增等。     

Informing the public? UK newspaper reporting of autism and Asperger's syndrome

An extensive survey of five leading UK newspapers reveals wide-ranging variation in coverage, from a tendency to rely on medical establishment sources in some to an apparently pro-choice, anti-establishment campaign in others but, generally, a neglect of the perspective of articulate autistics themselves. Based on an enhanced content analysis of all (179) reports on autism or Asperger's syndrome, over the 12 months of 2006, in The Daily Telegraph (London), Daily Mail (London), The Sun (London), Herald (Glasgow) and Daily Record (Glasgow), the findings are discussed using Hermann and Chomsky's Propaganda Model and Shoemaker and Reese's Hierarchy of Influences Model .     

新闻报道中的“人文关怀”——以灾难事件的报道为例

当前媒介中存在不少报道灾难事件不人性的做法,是记者职业角色和社会角色冲突的反映,社会和记者对于角色定位的不同把握和理解,使得记者在新闻报道中的角色偏差和道德缺失。灾难事件报道中记者道德缺失,既是媒介＂大环境＂的产物,也是记者自身＂小环境＂的缺漏。完善道德缺失,需要依靠多方力量将＂人文关怀＂渗透到每个环节。     

全覆盖目标下公共图书馆网点设置模型研究

[目的/意义]围绕如何合理构建公共图书馆网点开展研究,为"全覆盖"目标下的公共图书馆服务体系建设提供支持。[方法/过程]通过对实际问题进行数学抽象,分析提出一种基于总分馆体系的网点设置模型。[结果/结论]该模型可解决在既定区域内已有若干图书馆网点的条件下,如何有效设置新网点以实现公共图书馆服务的区域"全覆盖"问题。     

Analysis of urban heat island effect using an improved CTTC and STTC model

An improved cluster thermal time constant (CTTC) and surface thermal time constant (STTC) numerical model was introduced,which took into account the effect of vegetation coverage and modified the expression of net longwave radiation of the canyon layer.In the case study the model was used to calculate the air temperature variation at downtown of Tianjin City.The relative error between the calculated and measured air temperatures was less than 3%.The tendency of air temperature variation was predicted when the building aspect ratio,vegetation rate,and wind speed changed respectively.It is demonstrated that when the aspect ratio of a building with south-north orientation increased,the heat island intensity at day time was mitigated; however,it became worse after sunset.The vegetation coverage rate and wind speed both had negative relationship with the urban heat island intensity.
