幼儿园浸入式英语教学师资存在的主要问题及其解决对策

教师的素养和能力直接影响着幼儿园浸入式英语教学的质量和幼儿第二语言(英语)的获得与发展.在当前幼儿园浸入式英语教学中,教师主要存在拖音变调、漠视幼儿汉语反应、简单重复教学内容、教师语言输入量不够、启发引导幼儿学说英语不足等问题.为此教师应重视自身的专业发展,在教学中多采取精致化重复策略、情景化教学策略、引导幼儿学说话的策略、提高教师语言输入量的策略等,以为幼儿创设更好的第二语言学习环境.     

任务活动交际——在培养学生英语交际能力研究课题中的体会

在中学课程教学改革的浪潮下,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,是英语课程改革的重点.我校从2008年10月起在2008级的学生中使用添加型的听说教材,有目的、有计划、有针对性地开展口语、听力训练课程,以及进行相应的教学研究,真正探索出实实在在适应我们自己的英语教学模式和方法.本文仅就在＂学生英语交际能力的培养＂这一课题的研究和学习中谈一谈自己的体会和感受.     

从关联理论看广告语中修辞艺术的翻译与传播

广告语作为一种重要的跨文化交际手段,对开拓市场、引导消费、丰富生活起着重要的作用。广告语中修辞艺术的翻译质量直接影响着跨文化广告的传播效果。本文从关联理论的角度出发,讨论了跨文化广告的修辞艺术特点和相应的翻译方法。

Emancipation in cross-cultural IS research: The fine line between relativism and dictatorship of the intellectual

Critical research is becoming increasingly accepted as a valid approach to research in information systems. It is deemed to be particularly suitable for situations where researchers want to address conspicuous injustice, such as in areas of development or the digital divide. Critical research in information systems (CRIS), I will argue, is a possible approach to some of the ethical problems arising in the context of information and communication technology (ICT). It can be sensitive to the question of culture and therefore suitable for researching cross-cultural ethical questions in ICT. It is often unclear, however, what exactly critical research stands for and to what extent critical approaches are applicable across cultural boundaries. This paper will address these problems by proposing a definition of critical research as focused on changing the status quo and aiming for emancipation. It will then look at the question whether different cultures are compatible and comparable and what the role of culture in research on information systems is. The paper will then return to the question whether the critical intention to emancipate and empower humans is an expression of cultural imperialism or whether there are valid ways of promoting emancipation across cultural divides.     

大学外语教学中跨文化交际能力培养的探索与实践

跨文化交际能力是影响学生在涉外交际场景中的语言运用水平与交际效果的重要因素。通过对大学英语教师的问卷调查与访谈,深入了解在外语教学中进行跨文化交际能力培养过程中所存在问题;结合现实教学实际提出了教育政策调整、教材开发与建设、教师自身素养提高与教学方式转变等方面的相应建议。     

谈英、汉跨文化交际中的文化差异

东西方化是两种差异最大的化类型，这种化的差异直接制约着我们对信息的正确获得。要使跨语言、跨化交际获得成功，就必须注重英汉两种语言在化上的差异。     

英汉称谓比较

称谓体系由于受到各国不同文化的影响而产生极大的差异。汉语和英语称谓的不同主要体现在亲属称谓和社会称谓两个方面。汉英亲属称谓的区别主要表现在宗族、血亲和姻亲、老幼尊卑、父系母系和泛化等方面,而汉英社会称谓主要比较通称、职务称谓、姓名称谓、人称称谓和零称谓几个方面。中英两国不同的文化和历史是造成这些差异的主要原因。     

International Research Projects in Early Childhood Development in Australia,Malaysia and Singapore: Pertinent Issues from Three Studies

The field of early childhood education has been the focus of increased research and public concern in recent years. This paper highlights three research projects funded by the Bernard van Leer Foundation in the eighties in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. It focuses on four research issues raised from these three studies which span three diverse communities and cultures. In particular, the question of a single integrative approach towards early childhood development programmes, the intersecting needs of children and women, the range of training and dissemination systems to be made available, the role of the different forms of fundamental partnerships in early childhood research and the strengthening of the research-to-policy link will be discussed.     

Family- and classroom-related factors and mother–kindergarten teacher trust in Estonia and Finland

This study examined the role of family-related (mother’s education, depressive symptoms and child’s gender) and kindergarten-related (teacher’s experience, teaching practices and class size) factors in mothers’ and teachers’ mutual trust in Estonia and Finland. Six hundred eighteen (206 Estonian and 412 Finnish) mothers of kindergarten children and their teachers (26 Estonian, 49 Finnish) were participated in the study. Both mothers and teachers filled in the questionnaire on trust; teachers’ teaching practices were observed with early childhood classroom observation measure. The results of multilevel modelling showed that mothers in both countries trusted more in teachers who used child-centred rather than teacher-directed practices. Teachers indicated higher trust in highly educated mothers and mothers of girls. Estonian teachers with longer work experience trusted more in mothers than less experienced teachers, and Finnish teachers trusted less in mothers reporting more depressive symptoms. The results emphasise the importance of both family-related and kindergarten-related factors in the enhancement of mutual trust.
