中国移民的文化适应研究综述

近十几年来,对中国移民群体文化适应的研究在数量上呈现出明显增长的趋势。已有的与中国移民文化适应有关的研究涉及到与亲子关系和教养方式、身份认同与满意感、身心健康水平、价值观念等因素与文化适应的关系,也对文化适应与这些因素相互作用的心理机制进行了探讨。今后的研究应进一步从中国文化历史和价值观的大背景下分析中国移民文化适应的特点,将这一研究主题推向深入。     

中国企业在非洲市场的跨文化管理分析

针对中国企业在非洲市场经营时会存在各种各样的跨文化管理问题,在分析了中国企业在非洲市场发展现状的基础上,提出了采取树立正确的跨文化管理的观念,进行文化融合、本土化、文化渗透与文化创新、文化规避和利用第三方文化等中国企业进军非洲市场的跨文化管理策略.     

Cross-cultural adaptation of the Organizational Stressor Indicator for Sport Performers (OSI-SP) in Taiwan

The purpose of this study was to translate Arnold and her colleagues’ (Arnold, Fletcher, & Daniels, 2013) Organizational Stressor Indicator for Sport Performers (OSI-SP) into Chinese and examine its psychometric properties with Taiwanese athletes. In study 1, the psychometric properties of the items and the underlying structure of the translated Chinese OSI-SP were examined. In study 2, we used confirmatory factor analysis to examine the factorial structure and examined measurement invariance across genders. In study 3, we examined concurrent and discriminant validity via correlations among the Chinese OSI-SP, coping self-efficacy, perceived stress, and burnout to provide further evidence of criterion validity. Study 4 examined the test-retest reliability of the Chinese OSI-SP. Across these phases, results showed the 5-factor, 16-item Chinese OSI-SP had adequate factor structure, measurement invariance, criterion validity, and reliabilities. We suggest future studies may use this revised Chinese OSI-SP in Taiwan and other Chinese athletic settings.     

Models of “The Heavens and the Earth”: An Investigation of German and Taiwanese Students’ Alternative Conceptions of the Universe

The paper reports a cross-cultural investigation conducted in 2001–2002 that seeks to reveal students’ alternative ideas in two countries, Taiwan and Germany. It was carried out by means of semi-structured interviews in a story form. The targeted students were arbitrarily selected from grades 3 to 6 in both countries and amounted to 64. The questions in the interview were centered around “the heavens” (space, heavenly bodies, and familiar astronomical events) and “the earth” (the appearance, shape, movement, and, in some cases, gravity). The results indicated that, first, the students presented their ideas in a consistent manner, regardless of their cultural backgrounds, if we take into account the scope of questions and phenomena which were in their concern or of their interest. The comments from the student can be patterned into a structure-like whole, which we term “model” in the study. Second, the alternative models of “the heavens and the earth” elicited in the interviews appear to have various strengths of explaining familiar astronomical events. Interestingly, the more advanced a model is (in regard with the present-day cosmological model), the higher explanatory power it contains. As for the difference between the sample of two countries, the German students show more intention (or are more aware of the need) to explain astronomical phenomena than their Taiwanese counterparts, and thereby presented more precise models with stronger explanatory power. On the other hand, the Taiwanese students appeared to have more imagination and conceptual flexibility that should also be valued.     

高职院校英语语篇教学中的跨文化意识培养

语言与文化是紧密联系在一起的,学习一门语言,就必须要了解该语言的文化。语篇教学是学习语言的重要途径,语篇大都是讲述一个情景,或生活交往、或商务交往、或社会现象等,都包含了一些文化在里面。尤其是对外语的学习,通过外语语篇教学,有针对性地对学生的跨文化意识进行培养,已经成为学习外语的绝佳途径。文章就高职院校英语语篇教学中的跨文化意识培养做几点探讨,希望能给广大高职院校学习英语的师生们带来一些帮助。     

跨文化语境下中西方翻译标准的异同点分析

在不同的文化语境下,人们拥有不同的思维方式、哲学观念、价值标准以及风俗习惯等,从而直接影响到自身的语言表达方式以及对特定思想观念、语言词汇甚至是事物对象的理解,在跨文化语境中采用什么样的标准进行翻译活动成为诸多人思考的一个问题。因此,笔者从选择翻译标准的角度分析了中西方翻译中的异同点以及产生根源,并提出了可行的应对措施,希望能够对当前翻译活动的顺利进行提供一定的帮助。     

陆台电影译名差异及其对跨文化交际的启示

从来自台湾与大陆不同地区人士对于电影译名是否添加“神鬼”的真实谈话语料入手,追溯两地民间文化对于该类超自然话语不同态度形成的历史原因,以达到消除误解,彼此尊重。笔者更加希冀来自不同地域、具有不同文化背景的团体可以跨越各自的兴趣“共同体”,实现包容与互通。     

论国际经济法双语教学中学生能力的培养

基于当今社会对涉外应用型法律人才以及国际经济法学科研究人才的现实需求,国际经济法双语教学必须以此为教学目标,这就对学生各方面的能力提出了要求。通过研究归纳得出,国际经济法双语教学对学生能力之要求主要包括英语语言能力、法律思维能力和实践应用能力三个方面。提高学生能力,才是实现教学目标之关键,而当前我国的国际经济法双语教学中在培养学生能力方面还存在很多困境。鉴于此,本文进一步探究以提升学生能力为理念的国际经济法双语教学路径的设计。     

论功能翻译理论在国内旅游英语翻译中的应用

在全球化的今天,越来越多的外国人到中国旅游,因此,旅游英语的翻译是十分必要的。但是,现状却不容乐观。功能翻译理论是一种侧重于翻译功能的理论,并将翻译视为一项目的性的跨文化交际行为,本文在对功能翻译理论的基本原理探讨的基础上,结合旅游英语的翻译资料,对功能翻译理论在旅游英语中的应用进行分析,指出采用适当的翻译策略来实现旅游英语翻译的跨文化交际目的。
