关于高校双语教学改革的思考与建议——基于“城市管理学”课程的双语教学改革实践分析

本文在对贵州大学公共事业管理专业城市管理学课程双语教学改革实践的分析基础上,对我国高校实行双语教学改革的理论和实践提出了一些自己的建议。

More than ‘just play’: picking out three dimensions of a balanced early years pedagogy

ABSTRACT

This paper addresses the incompletely resolved tension between play-based and direct teaching approaches to early years pedagogy and practitioners’ resultant difficulties in understanding and delivering high-quality practice. Previously, we argued for the importance of infusing playfulness into all classroom interactions and activities in order to assist practitioners in forming a useful mental model of early years practice. Here, we extend the playful image to present a new, coherent framework for early years practice, based on three dimensions: the degree of playfulness in the activity taking place, the locus of control of the action during the activity and the nature of the learning taking place. We lay out the framework and describe its relation to free play as a prelude to discussing how it applies to classroom play and other types of early years classroom activity, illustrated by cameos. It is argued that the full range of each dimension should be well sampled through choosing a variety of activities and that such an approach will preserve high levels of child engagement. The framework provides a useful tool to prompt reflective practice and professional development.

本文通过对102篇博士论文选题的统计分析,提出博士论文选题应遵循前沿性、应用性、创新性、挑战性和可行性五大原则,以及以选题为指南的博士生招生改革思路。     

美国德州大学文献保护与修复课程体系分析——兼论Preservation与Conservation的中文译法

通过调查分析美国档案与文献保护专业排名首位的德州大学奥斯汀分校信息学院的文献保护与修复课程,介绍其所开设的17门课程的教学内容,总结整体课程体系的4个特点：内容全面、结构合理,层次分明、承接有序,理论与实践并重,保护与修复分明。兼而论及Preservation与Conservation两个专业术语的中文译法。     

Parents＇ views on preschool care and education in local community

In this text, the authors are analyzing preschool care and education in local community. They are focusing on the problem of information transfer between the kindergarten, parents and local community, as well as the model of relationship participation. Cooperation between parents, kindergarten and local community is an important element in the preschool institution quality, because it changes inner relationships, climate and culture. Expectations about cooperation in some authors＇ views （Resman, 1992; Schleicher, 1989; Coleman, 1998; Ryan, 1995） depend on tradition, objectives, social context, legal framework and situational demands. The research data show that Slovene kindergartens have more consumer-like relationships with parents instead of partnership. Kindergartens are clear about important information concerning their pedagogical work and organization, but they do not include parents in making decisions about the developing and executing of programs. 92.3% of parents think that the information they receive is clear, understandable only 89.6% think they are frequent. More then half of the interviewed parents frequently or always participate in kindergarten life and work, only about 43% believe that they can co-influence the development or realization of the programme. Parents also think that the local community is not giving them enough information about preschool care problems, because only 10.2% are included in solving current preschool care problems in their municipality.
