101 Things to Know or Do as a Wyoming County Library Board Member

Created by the staff of the Wyoming State Library, this online “flip list” of 101 items is an introductory checklist of fiscal and policy oversight responsibilities and communication efforts that all trustees of libraries ought to know and carry around in their heads as they function as governance spokespersons for their various systems.     

Provo City Library: Building across a Century

The public library in Provo City, Utah, has undergone significant changes since the founding of the original 1906 building that was funded by Andrew Carnegie. The library has changed according to the needs of the community as it has adapted from its pioneer heritage to a modern service-information organization. As it has adapted, however, the Provo Library has maintained its focus on community service with its physical facilities, collection development, community outreach, and quality staffing.     

Sharing MedlinePlus®/MEDLINE® for Information Literacy Education (SMILE): A Dental Public Health Information Project

The SMILE project represented a partnership among the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Libraries, the Gateway Clinic in Laredo, and the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District. The project focused on improving dental practitioners' access to reliable information resources and integrating the best evidence into public health dental practice. Through its training program, SMILE cultivated a set of “power information users” among the dentists, dental hygienists, and community health workers (promotores) who provided public health preventive care and oral health education. The dental public health practitioners gained information literacy skills and increased their knowledge about reliable sites such as blogs, PubMed®, and MedlinePlus®. This project fostered opportunities for expanded partnerships with public health personnel.     

基于Black board优化高校网络远程教学效果的策略研究

通过对使用BB网络教学平台进行网络远程教学和网络辅助教学的暨南大学深圳旅游学院进行调查,作者在影响网络远程教学效果的因素中寻找最为关键的影响因子,从而提出了优化使用的策略。     

中国企业集团董事会特征与总经理报酬——基于母子公司的比较研究

基于中国沪深两市上市公司中631家企业集团2005年的数据,对中国企业集团中董事会特征与总经理报酬之间的关系进行了实证研究。通过对中国企业集团上市成员中的母公司和子公司进行比较研究,发现:(1)连锁董事比例与总经理报酬之间在企业集团母公司和子公司中均表现出正相关关系;(2)持股董事比例与总经理报酬之间在子公司中具有显著负相关关系;(3)在子公司中薪酬委员会的设置有利于总经理报酬的增加。而企业集团董事会的其它结构特征包括下派董事比例、独立董事比例、内部董事比例以及董事会规模均与总经理报酬之间不存在显著相关性。研究结果表明我国企业集团中,无论是母公司还是子公司,董事会治理效率都有待改善。     

中国中小企业板上市公司融资顺序经验研究

以深圳中小企业板113家上市公司2006年年报数据为样本,分析了中小企业板上市公司的融资情况。研究结果表明：中小企业板上市公司资产负债率偏低,但融资顺序符合融资优序理论,即首选内部融资,其次选择银行借款,最后选择股权融资;在银行借款中,更加偏好短期借款。

AutoCAD与Windows程序的数据交换方法

Windows以其使用简单,界面一致、通信方便等特点正在被越来越多的用户所接受,最近新推出的计算机辅助绘图软件AutoCAD也选用Windows作为其图形环境,本就如何对AutoCAD与其它Windows程序间交换数据进行论述。     

试论公司内部监督机制

英美法系与大陆法系在公司内部监督机制方面有着不同的制度设计,英美法系国家通过在一元制结构下创设独立董事制度来克服公司内部人控制的现象,而大陆法系国家则通过在二元制架构下设立监事会制度来完善对管理层的监督。由于监事会制度运行的失效,我国引入了独立董事制度,形成了独立董事和监事会并存的格局,从而引发了两种制度的碰撞和冲突。本文通过一番比较分析之后对我国公司治理的走向得出一些中肯的结论。

以清华同方中国知网CNKI下载与引证数据库、Elsevier公司的Scopus和Science Direct数据库、汤森路透公司的Web of Science数据库为数据源,选取《中国天然药物》2003年5月创刊至2010年发表的文章,对《中国天然药物》的高下载与高引证文章的作者进行分析,探讨编委对高引证、高下载文章的贡献,总结编委在提高办刊质量与期刊的影响力上发挥的关键作用,着重探讨编辑部应该做好编委服务工作。
