人世对中国的各个方面将产生深刻的影响，进入全球化竞争的中国高等教育将发生深刻的变化。中国体育院校在人世后，既有发展的机遇，又有面临的挑战。要充分发挥为教育和体育两项服务业服务的功能，必须从理论与实践上加以认真研究，制定出相应的对策。     

Reconceptualising educational assessment in South Africa — testing times for teachers

This paper explores some of the problems arising when Continuous Assessment (CA) is grafted onto established pedagogic practices. It focuses on three issues: teachers' restricted understandings of assessment, teachers' emphasis on criteria that demonstrate concern with social control, and some of the problems connected with peer assessment. Two vignettes derived from fieldwork associated with a project to improve the quality of primary education are used to raise the issues. We argue that the development of desired practices is hampered above all by tacit values in tension with those underpinning the new curriculum. These values, together with the complexity of curriculum design, create serious problems of manageability and interpretation, which can only be addressed through detailed interactive in-service training, aimed at reconceptualising teachers' notions of assessment.

通过论述我国体育学术期刊发展的现状与问题，提出体育学术期刊应根据自身的特点，准确定位，加快期刊网络化的步伐，多渠道提高期刊的质量和影响力，强化编辑队伍的信息素质培养等对蓑，以适应信息社会的转变，实现体育学术期刊的可持续发展。     

青海省中小学体育现状与发展对策研究

综合运用各类调查法对青海省中小学体育教学现状进行抽样调查和实证描述:目前青海省中小学能正常开设体育课,但是,已开设学校多数不能真正实施体育教学大纲、以大纲进度和教案上课;多数学校不将体育课成绩列为学生评"三好"条件之一;目前影响体育课教学的原因城乡基本相同.依据现状调查结果和"九五"期间至下世纪初"优先发展教育"的方针和普通基础教育的宏观规划与目标,预测当前青海省中小学体育教学发展目标,并针对实现这一目标提出5点对策与建议.     

'I Hate You. Please Help Me': A Case Study From A Classic Boxall Nurture Group

This article is a case study of a five year old boy, Peter, and his entry and development within a classic Boxall Nurture Group. The author explores nurture groups in general as well as describing Peter's assessment, his challenging behaviour, the support he received and the final outcomes of the work.     

After assessment: application of the results of an acquisitions teams survey

This paper will briefly discuss the team structure at the Pennsylvania State University Libraries, and the reasoning behind a recently completed teams assessment survey. It is extremely important to act on information gathered from surveys, and not just file it away. The focus of the paper, therefore, will be on the process we developed to implement and act upon the results of the assessment survey. The work with the University’s Human Resources Development Center to develop a tool to guide the staff through the process will be examined and discussed at length.

高校思想道德修养课量化考核研究

高等学校开设的思相道德修养课，是对大学生进行思想道德教育的主渠道，然而，现行的教学模式存在很多弊端，不仅施教过程中严重脱离实际，耐用考核也缺乏科学性，不能考出受教育的真实水平，改革现行的教学模式，势在必。而改革现行的考核办法，实施量化考核则是关键环节。     

城镇居民全民健身状况综合评价方法研究

根据城镇居民开展全民健身运动的实际情况，论述了综合评价的方法和原则，建立了评价指标体系的逻辑关系图，提出了采用数学方法来探讨评价事物的整体情况。结论阐述了该评价方法的不同用途及使用过程中的注意事项。
