数字图书馆信息安全风险评估的方法与模型

对比分析各种类型的风险评估方法,提出数字图书馆信息安全风险评估宜采用定性与定量相结合的半定量分析法。介绍国际标准ISO 27000、中国国家标准GB/T 20984及实际工作中常用的几种不同的评估模型,分析它们的异同与优缺点,讨论它们对数字图书馆信息安全管理的适用性,并通过具体的测评实践及理论分析证明宜采用中国国家标准GB/T 20984中的相乘法作为数字图书馆信息安全风险评估的实践模型。     

Web Accessibility Assessment of Urban Public Library Websites

In an age of ubiquitous information and communication technologies, urban public libraries are some of the only places to provide free Internet access for all members of the community regardless of ability or disability. This study provides a website accessibility assessment of the 127 U.S. public library members of the Urban Library Council, using the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to establish the level of Web readiness of urban public libraries to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. Findings suggest these libraries require additional and ongoing maintenance to be digitally inclusive.     

Convergence,connectivity, ephemeral and performed: new characteristics of digital photographs

The recent convergence of digital cameras into mobile phones with Internet connectivity has provided the opportunity for individuals and organisations to adopt new image-making practices. The widespread use of photo-sharing and social networking platforms for sharing, accessing and storing digital photographs is presenting scholars in the social sciences with new areas of research that address the nature of digital photography. By examining the technological, social and cultural factors involved in contemporary image-making practices, scholars are presenting new concepts regarding the characteristics of digital photographs that impact archival activities aimed at managing and preserving trustworthy digital records. This article identifies and discusses the key concepts emerging from social science research on digital photography that are most relevant to the archival field. Analysis of the findings of these studies suggests that new technologies and social practices are changing how people use digital photographs and their expectations of permanence. Therefore, archivists need to be engaged in interdisciplinary discussions regarding the evolution of photographic practices and emerging characteristics of digital photographs in order to anticipate the management and preservation activities required to protect contemporary visual records for future use.     

数字图书馆中人机交互维度与用户交互绩效的关系研究

通过招募42位本科生进行实验研究,探讨数字图书馆环境中用户交互信息搜索行为与交互绩效之间的关系。结果表明,用户与数字图书馆在不同维度的交互会在不同程度上影响交互绩效。其中,技术维度的“界面易用性”、“导航清晰性”和“栏目信息组织合理性”,信息维度的“所获信息充分性”及任务维度的“获得任务所需信息的信心”显著影响且可预测用户与数字图书馆的交互绩效。     

我国高校数字人文中心建设初探

高校数字人文中心是为推进人文社会学科与信息技术学科的深度融合而建立的协同创新服务与管理机构,其主要职能是为数字人文项目提供全生命周期技术和管理保障。当前数字人文理念还没有被我国学术界所广泛接受,高校数字人文中心建设还处于起步和探索阶段,应该采取多种措施,促进数字人文领域基础问题的研究,制定高校数字人文中心建设规范,发挥高校数字人文中心在学科融合与协同创新中的推动作用。     

数字化出版条件下科技期刊论文摘要内容拓展的探讨

指出现有纸本期刊研究论文摘要存在的问题和缺陷。提出数字化出版条件下为更充分地表达科技期刊研究论文的核心学术内容应拓展其摘要内容的建议,即在现有摘要的基础上应附加重要图表、数理式和关键引文等内容,并探讨其必要性、可行性及其具体方式。     

美国顶级大学图书馆应用Web 2.0的现状调查与分析

通过网络调研Web 2.0在美国顶级大学图书馆网站的使用情况。结果显示：最受欢迎的Web 2.0技术是SNS,使用率达到100%;其次为Blog,RSS和IM,分别占90%以上;Vodcasts（占47%）,Podcasts（占46%）和Social bookmarking（占39%）也较受欢迎;Wiki的使用率较低,仅占1/3。认为Web 2.0在这些图书馆的使用情况和技术结构模式在一定程度上反映美国大学图书馆服务数字化、互动化、个性化的发展趋势,同时也映射出世界图书馆服务人性化、互动化的变化。研究结果可为专业图书馆信息研究管理者、Web 2.0部署人员以及图书馆用户等相关人士提供参考意见和建议。     

论电子医学期刊编辑人才培养——以中华医学电子音像出版社有限责任公司为例

针对目前电子期刊出版业普遍存在编辑人员流动性大、复合型多媒体制作人才缺乏等诸多问题,中华医学电子音像出版社从实际情况出发,制定近期编辑人才培养计划及其实施方案,要求电子期刊编辑人员必须掌握传统纸质期刊编辑出版基本流程、规范、要求及标准,熟悉多媒体课件制作流程中采、编、摄、制及光盘制作开发工具和相关应用软件,掌握网站建设、网页设计及相关网络出版知识和技能,力求从多方面着手培养复合型编辑人才。

通过对数字出版国内外现状和能力素质模型的研究,提出一套我国科技期刊数字出版编创人员能力素质模型,从管理素质、编辑素质、专业素质、信息素养4个方面概括科技期刊数字出版编创人员所必须具备的能力素质以及相应的提升方法和策略。
