基于几何特征和支持向量机的人脸检测

针对人脸检测中的非线性和降维问题提出了一种有效的人脸检测方法。首先基于人脸的肤色和几何特征．通过局部自适应门限方法提取图象边缘，用几何规则和颜色特征筛选出候选眼睛块。然后采用改进的四边界sobel算子对眼睛精确定位。最后使用训练好的支撑向量机来验证。该方法可以实现多尺度多角度的彩色图像中的正面人脸检测，实验结果令人满意。

为克服传统综采工作面上下风巷平行布量时，因煤层倾角变化大而造成工作面倾斜长度不断变化给工作面回采带来的不利影响，通过对三维地震资料的分析，在顺槽掘进过程中运输顺槽按设计方位且超前轨道顺槽施工，并不断对两顺槽标高进行测量调整轨道顺槽的方位，使工作面斜长变化值控制在一定范围内；回采过程中不增减设备，实现综采工作面安全、高效的顺利回采。     

Environment map building and localization for robot navigation based on image sequences

SLAM is one of the most important components in robot navigation. A SLAM algorithm based on image sequences captured by a single digital camera is proposed in this paper. By this algorithm, SIFT feature points are selected and matched between image pairs sequentially. After three images have been captured, the environment＇s 3D map and the camera＇s positions are initialized based on matched feature points and intrinsic parameters of the camera. A robust method is applied to estimate the position and orientation of the camera in the forthcoming images. Finally, a robust adaptive bundle adjustment algorithm is adopted to optimize the environment＇s 3D map and the camera＇s positions simultaneously. Results of quantitative and qualitative experiments show that our algorithm can reconstruct the environment and localize the camera accurately and efficiently.     

基于反向随机投影的神经网络改进算法

提出基于反向随机局部投影的神经网络效率改进算法,通过降低深度学习中的网络规模,重点解决了从“局部连接”到“全连接”和随机节点抽取时输入端节点信息丢失的问题,从而提升网络的效率。在算法中设置缩减参数,提升了算法的可伸展性,以适用于不同数据集的学习。通过数据集ISO-LET进行实验,结果表明,基于反向随机局部投影的神经网络效率改进算法的准确率、效率分别平均提升了3.48%和105.21%?在迭代20次的实验中进行了缩减参数调节实验,当参数设置为1.4时其准确率则优于传统全连接网络2.61%,效率提升了272.78%,具有明显的优势。     

Self-Controlled Amount of Practice Benefits Learning of a Motor Skill

Abstract

Self-control over factors involving task-related information (e.g., feedback) can enhance motor learning. It is unknown if these benefits extend to manipulations that do not directly affect such information. The purpose of this study was to determine if self-control over the amount of practice would also facilitate learning. Participants learned to throw a dart using their nonpreferred hand. The self-control (SC) group decided when to stop practice. The yoked group completed the same number of trials as their SC counterparts. Results revealed the SC group was more accurate during transfer and in recalling the number of trials completed. These findings indicate that self-control benefits extend to factors that do not directly alter task-related information.     

The role of elevation in moral judgment

ABSTRACT

Elevation is the emotion elicited by witnessing acts of moral beauty and may be framed as the opposite of disgust. Two studies investigated the role of elevation in moral judgment and its relation to disgust. In Study 1 it was investigated whether elevation can attenuate the effects of disgust on moral transgression judgments. Participants were either induced to experience disgust (by giving them a bitter beverage), or to experience disgust and elevation simultaneously (by video induction). No effects of either emotion on moral transgression judgments were found. In Study 2 the nature of causal connectedness between elevation and moral virtue judgments was investigated by testing whether elevation amplifies moral virtue judgments. It was found that participants judged morally good acts as being more morally good when being elevated, suggesting that there is a bidirectional causal link between elevation and judgments of moral virtue.
