试论苗族刺绣图案中的文化象征蕴意

刺绣是中华民族文化中一种重要艺术形式,苗族刺绣蕴涵着丰富的文化内涵,反映了苗族的历史、民族性格、民族意识、审美倾向等一系列的文化信息,体现了苗族的真情实感。     

梁平蓝印花布制作工艺恢复传承的思考

作为重庆市非物质文化遗产的梁平民间蓝印花布,曾是深受民众喜爱的民间艺术的一朵奇葩,有过辉煌的历史。但随着工业化时代的来临,机印花布逐渐取代了手工制作的蓝印花布,梁平蓝印花布也逐步淡出了人们的视线。梁平蓝印花布的表现形式、造型原则、审美意蕴对于弘扬重庆本土文化,探究文化观念、美学观念及民俗观念都有重要意义．也为今天的设计和艺术创造提供了广博的新世界。因此,对其工艺的恢复、研究和开发显得尤为重要。     

“民艺”美学与乡村美育:日本方案及其命运

"十四五"时期,乡村文化振兴的重要性愈发突显,乡村美育的思路、方法问题需要获得合致现实境况的回应。深入我国乡村审美文化经验,从中提炼标识性的概念命题,既富有理论意义,还将为引导乡村美育乃至乡村文化建设的整体方向发挥有针对性的作用。现代日本的"民艺"方案作为他山之石,能够为我们思考当前的时代课题提供参照和借鉴。"民艺"美学发源于乡土,立足对资本主义、帝国主义的批判,探索建立反思现代性"艺术"的审美范畴。这份方案虽带有一定的局限性,却为带动百年来日本乡村建设发挥积极持久的作用,由此为探询何为有效的乡村美育、乡村何以走向自我美育等课题展现了一种可能。     

Playin’ farmer: leisure experiences in a craft-based community of practice

The study applies situated learning and communities of practice concepts to an ethnographic study of volunteer farm work. In contrast to a traditional conceptualization of education for leisure, participation in farm work activities is understood as a form of education taking place in a leisure context. Analysis reveals that participation in volunteer farm labor may also be understood as participation in a craft-based community of practice. The Farm’s community of practice exhibits the use of embodied knowledge, intimate communication, a dialectic of innovation and preservation, and a hierarchical social structure. Differences between employment and leisure-based communities of practices are explored. Situated learning and communities of practice conceptualizations promise to expand both the analysis and practice of leisure education, thereby expanding its relevance in contemporary society.     

Classroom teachers’ craft knowledge of their inclusive practice

Whilst recent decades have seen significant progress in research on inclusive education, many teachers still feel that the research literature does not fully address their professional concerns about how to enact a policy of inclusion in their classrooms. To help to bridge this gap, we drew on the concept of craft knowledge to undertake a detailed study in two Scottish primary schools of the practice of class teachers who are committed to meet the needs of all learners. This paper describes the processes involved, and considers how these helped us to develop a greater understanding of what constitutes inclusive practice, whilst also contributing to a more robustly theorised knowledge of what we have termed inclusive pedagogy, or the inclusive pedagogical approach. Methodological complexities arising from the use of the concept of craft knowledge are also explored.     

Reclaiming the art of teaching

This paper explores the art and craft of teaching in higher education. It presents a model of the relationship between art and craft drawn from the author's theoretical and empirical work, and provides examples from the higher education context to illustrate the model. It discusses the characteristics of teaching as art and craft and critiques the move towards standardisation and conformity in favour of originality, creativity and innovation. It suggests that to see teaching as art is more holistic, satisfying and transformative than to see it as craft. It argues for reclaiming the art of teaching and provides strategies for encouraging and supporting artistic teaching.
