New Resources for Childbirth Educators and Parents

In this column, reviewers offer perspectives and comments on a variety of new media resources for childbirth educators and for expectant and new parents. The topics of DVDs and books reviewed here include fatherhood, labor-support techniques, optimal labor positions, infant massage, breastfeeding, healthy nutrition during the childbearing year, understanding a newborn''s cues, personal viewpoints on cesarean birth, and postpartum massage.     

梅州市文化公园人工湖富营养化分析

通过对梅州市文化公园人工湖水体中总磷（TP）、总氮（TN）、叶绿素（Chla）、化学需氧量（CODMn）、透明度（SD）等水质参数实际监测的统计计算,采用综合营养状态指数法对文化公园水质的营养状况进行了分析和综合评价,计算统计结果表明,文化公园人工湖水体处于重度富营养化状态并趋向稳定,并就文化公园人工湖的具体情况及其现状提出防治建议。     

不同南瓜品种的营养成分及营养评价

对10个南瓜品种的桌实，进行了主要营养成分、维生素、单糖及矿质元素的测定，比较差异，结果表明，按平均营养价值从高到低排序依次为：印度南瓜、中国南瓜、美洲南瓜．     

蔬菜的微量元素营养与微肥施用

本文对蔬菜的微量元素营养及微肥施用进行了综述。内容有:(1)蔬菜的微量元素营养机理及缺素症状;(2)新型微肥的研制;(3)蔬菜施用微肥的安全用量和效果。     

青少年运动员训练与营养问题探讨

运用文献资料法、逻辑分析法等科研方法,结合现代训练理念,对青少年运动员从运动项目不同营养相同和项目不同营养有所不同两方面简要分析指出：科学合理的营养有利于提高训练效果和竞赛实力,并提出青少年运动员科学营养建议及饮食注意事项。     

几种药剂浸种对小麦拔节期营养状况及产量的影响

小麦播种前用不同的药剂浸种。结果表明:用一定浓度的萘乙酸或硫酸锌溶液浸种,不仅可以改变拨节期小麦体内氮、钾的营养状况,而且能提高小麦产量;但硫酸铜溶液浸种没有明显效果。     

Diabetes diet nutrition optimization based on particle swarm optimization algorithm

Nutrition intervention is the key to prevent and control diabetes mellitus. Diabetic patients’ nutrition intervention requires reasonably control of the intakes of the three major nutrients. A diabetes diet nutrition optimization method based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed for individual nutritional intervention of diabetes. Firstly, a nutritional optimization mathematical model is established, which meets the demand of diabetic patients’ three major nutrients intake, and then an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is applied to solve the model. To enhance the convergence speed and search ability of the standard particle swarm optimization, the adaptive inertia weight factor and the natural selection mechanism are introduced in PSO. The performance of the proposed method is verified through an experiment, and the attainment rates of three major nutrients in the designed recipes are close to 100? according to the experimental results, which indicates that it can greatly improve the precision of diabetes nutrition recipes     

Autonomy at mealtime: Building healthy food preferences and eating behaviors in young children

This article discusses family-style meal service as a means to building autonomy and healthy eating behaviors in young children. The authors discuss the development of food preferences, age-related developmental responses to food, and the importance of socially mediated exposure to food as a way to increased food acceptance. Guidelines for implementing family-style mealtimes in child care settings are outlined. To think, “On a typical day in 1992, 1.9 million children ate at least one of their meals in a child care center or family day care home”. (Briley, Roberts-Gray, & Simpson, 1994).
