Myasthenia gravis (MG) is an autoimmune disease that results from antibody mediated damage of Acetylcholine receptor (AChR) at the neuromuscular junction. The autoimmune character of MG and pathogenic role of AChR antibodies have been established by several workers i.e., the demonstration of anti-AChR antibodies in about 90 % of MG patients. It has been demonstrated that patients with MG also have antibodies against a second protein named presynaptic membrane receptor (PsmR), which is identified by utilizing β-Bgtx, a ligand which binds to PsmR. Using β-Bgtx Sepharose 4B affinity matrix, the PsmR was purified from different regions of human cadaver brain by affinity chromatography. Purified receptor was characterized both by biochemical and immunological procedures. PsmR purified from different regions of the brain shows a specific activity of 0.37 ± 0.01, 0.39 ± 0.02 and 0.43 ± 0.005 nM/ μg of protein in Parietal lobe, Occipital lobe and Frontal lobe respectively. The affinity purified PsmR from the brain of 87 and 68 kd (parietal lobe, occipital lobe and frontal lobe) shows immunoreactivity with myasthenic sera. These findings suggest that PsmR from brain is another antigen against which autoantibodies are developed in Myasthenia gravis patients. Upon treatment with various enzymes we concluded that PsmR from brain is a glycoprotein in which the immunoreactivity resides in the carbohydrate as well as the peptide epitopes. In conclusion the PsmR is another antigen against which autoantibodies are formed in different regions of brain. These can be used as a diagnostic tool for detecting antibodies in the sera or cerebrospinal fluid of MG patients.  相似文献

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is the main regulator of physiological angiogenesis during embryonic development, bone growth, and reproductive function, and it also participates in a series of pathological changes. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), with a history of more than 2000 years, has been widely used in clinical practice, while the exploration of its mechanisms has only begun. This review summarizes the research of recent years on the influence of TCM on VEGF. It is found that many Chinese medicines and recipes have a regulatory effect on VEGF, indicating that Chinese medicine has broad prospects as a complementary and alternative therapy, providing new treatment ideas for clinical applications and the theoretical basis for research on the mechanisms of TCM.  相似文献

旨在研究非负荷运动对雌激素缺乏引起的骨质疏松的影响。将成年雌性大鼠40只,随机分为4组(对照组、骨质疏松组、运动I组、运动厦组),每组10只,骨质疏松组及运动组开腹切除双例卵巢后缝合,4d后开始实验。运用游泳方式,时间30min,每周6次,对照组、骨质疏松组置水中30min不运动。实验第12周结束。抽血处死,取后肢骨做骨强度及骨病理检查,血作雌激素到定。结果发现雌性大鼠去卵巢后雌性激素下降,骨结构疏松,骨强度下降;非负荷运动减缓雌激素缺乏引起的骨量丢失,增强管强度,抑制骨组织吸收,有提升雌激素水平的趋势。雌激素减少后运动开始的时间越早,抑制骨吸收效果越好。  相似文献

目的:研究N-甲基-D-天门冬氨酸受体亚型NR1、NR2A和NR2B在慢性运动性疲劳大鼠海马组织中的表达变化及螺旋藻复方各有效成分部位配方的调节作用。方法:45只健康雄性SD大鼠按完全随机法分为:正常组、模型组与配方组,运用荧光实时定量PCR技术检测。结果:模型组大鼠海马组织NR1mRNA和NR2B mRNA表达水平显著低于正常组和配方组(P〈0.01),而NR2A mRNA表达水平3组差异无显著性(P〉0.05)。配方组大鼠海马组织NR1 mRNA和NR2B mRNA表达水平与正常组比较,差异均无显著性(P〉0.05)。结论:NMDA受体亚型NR1和NR2B参与了慢性运动性中枢疲劳的发生,而NMDA受体亚型NR2A可能与慢性运动性中枢疲劳的发生无关。螺旋藻复方各有效成分部位配方可通过提高疲劳机体NR1和NR2B mRNA表达水平,从而延缓运动性中枢疲劳的发生。  相似文献

Objective: to report the application of GPIIb/IIIa antagonist (Integrilin) in peri-percutaneous transluminal catheter angioplasty and stent implantation in Chinese. Method: Twenty-one patients who underwent percutaneous transluminal catheter angioplasty(PTCA) and stent implantation were included. After arterial puncture, integrilin was injected at dose of 180ug/kg, and then maintained at 2μg/kgmin for 18 hours. Asprine, plavix(clopidogrel) and heparin were used at the same time. ACT, PT, KPTT and blood routine were routinely monitored. Results: All sheaths were drawn out 2 to 4 hours after the procedure.. There was no severe complication such as hematoma, acute and subacute thrombosis in coronary artery, or thrombocytopenia. ACT returned to less than 150 seconds in 2 hours in 15 patients; in 4 hours in 6 patients. There was no significant difference between the pre- and post-procedure value of PT and platelet count. KPTT was significantly higher than pre-procedure value at 2 hours after the procedure .No recurrence of angina pectoris was observed in the first nine patients within one year follow-up, and no restenosis occurred in stents in the five patients who had coronary angiography one year later. Conclusion: Application of GPIIb/IIIa receptor antagonist (Integrilin) in peri-percutaneous transluminal catheter angioplasty and stent implantation in combination with aspirin and plavix could significantly reduce the dosage and duration of heparin with benefit of shortening the indwelling time of sheaths, but did not increase risk of bleeding or lead to thrombosis in stent.  相似文献

利用免疫组化和酶联组化法,对38例结肠直肠癌和5例肠炎和腺瘤组织,进行P53、ER和PR检测,以便观察上述标记物的阳性率和它们之间的相关性。结果表明,结肠炎者阴性,在结肠癌和直肠癌中阳性率分别为44.4%和60%,ER阳性率与P53相同;PR阳性率分别为38.9%和和50%。P53和ER阳性一致率为55%;P53和PR阳性一致率为50%。本实验提示P53、ER、PR在大肠癌中的表达与年龄无明显相关性。  相似文献
