畲族文化的网络传播策略——以福建宁德为例

随着信息化时代的到来,媒体与民族文化传播之间的关系越来越密切。以福建宁德为例,提出了畲族文化的网络传播目标及策略,即要以提高文化自觉、展示民族自信为目标,树立畲族独特的文化品牌形象,搭建官方和民间的网络传播平台,加强新旧媒体的整合互动,开拓从虚拟到现实的互动满足等。网络虽然有其局限性,但毕竟为畲族传统文化带来了传承发展的新契机。     

Scholars committed to opportunities in psychological education: a training and mentoring program for future psychologists of color

ABSTRACT

Although strides towards inclusivity and racial equality have been made in graduate education, many barriers to graduate education remain for racial/ethnic minorities. In response, we created Scholars Committed to Opportunities in Psychological Education (SCOPE), a mentor-based program for racial/ethnic minority undergraduates. 63 racial/ethnic minority undergraduates completed the SCOPE curricula and pre- and post-program questionnaires regarding graduate school application knowledge, application confidence, stress, self-efficacy, and SCOPE program satisfaction. Mentors completed a training and questionnaires in one SCOPE cohort. Knowledge about the GRE, the application process, and application confidence increased, and stress decreased, following SCOPE. The result of this work is a portable mentoring program that can be used across disciplines and demographics to increase inclusivity and equality.     

Using Multicultural Resources for Teachers to Combat Racial Prejudice in the Classroom

As the American population continues to become more diverse there is a need to provide children in early education with factual information about all ethnic groups to decrease prejudice. First, teachers must examine their own beliefs prior to implementing a multicultural approach into the curriculum. Three questions are presented that will assist teachers in evaluating their views and behaviors toward ethnic groups. Informative resources are provided for teachers to educate themselves, parents, and students. Through children's literature, instructional materials, and Internet sources, teachers can promote more positive attitudes among students and educate children to be respectful and accept the individuality of others.

讨论了一种仿人智能控制方法,并将其具体应用于二输入二输出的液位控制系统。实践结果表明,用该方法可以使输出稳、快、准地达到给定值。     

Researching Education and Ethnicity in China: A Critical Review of the Literature between 1990 and 2014

In the past four decades, marketization and modernization in China have led to conflict between economic development and the protection of ethnic minority cultures. In response, a growing number of scholars have focused on issues related to education and ethnicity in China. This article describes and analyzes how these scholars researched education and ethnicity between 1990 and 2014. Six research themes are identified: educational policy, multicultural education, minority cultural heritage in school, ideological-political education, multilingual education, and teachers and teacher education. The final section discusses how education scholars could improve future research on education and ethnicity in China.

关于民族地区幼儿园课程建设的思考

在分析民族地区幼儿园课程发展的制约因素的基础上,立足多元文化理论和人本主义理论对民族地区幼儿园课程建设提出几点建议,以期推动民族地区幼儿教育向科学化、合理化的方向发展。     

庆阳民居室内装饰品纹样构图研究

采用个案法、归纳法和文献法对庆阳民居室内装饰品的纹样构图进行了研究,结果表明：庆阳民居室内装饰品的纹样构图有共用形、形中形和复合形三种方法;这三种构图方法受到古代八卦、数字观念的影响,凸显求子、求寿、求贵和图腾崇拜的主题;蕴含了儒家＂中、和＂,＂善加于物＂和＂天人合一＂的思想。     

Linguistic and cultural effects on the attainment of ethnic minority students: some methodological considerations

Established literature suggests that language problems lead to lower attainment levels in those subjects that are more language dependent. Also, language has been suggested as a main driver of ethnic minority attainment. We use an original dataset of 2020 secondary school students to show that ethnic minority students in Cyprus underperform overall, but they do not perform less well in subjects considered more language dependent. We suggest that the main determinant for their low performance is not linguistic but cultural. This is the first study to investigate the performance of Georgians as an ethnic minority group in a European country. It is also one of the very few studies which were deliberately designed to compare the attainment of ethnic minority students on more and less language-dependent subjects. Methodologically, this is an instructive study using a repeated-measures design and combining teacher assessments with test results to alleviate floor and ceiling effects.
