油田开发的后期水淹层解释是一大难题。简要介绍了水淹层的类型、水淹层的定性、定量解释方法及水淹层在测井曲线上的显示特征．提出了在水淹层评价过程中应综合各种相关资料对水淹层进行合理解释。     

Factors (not) affecting what students do with computers and internet at home

This paper presents the results of an analysis of secondary students’ computer use, aimed at understanding how different factors influence the profile of activities carried out by students with computers. The analysis is based on the data from a national study aimed at measuring students’ Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills for learning. A factor analysis was carried out to categorize students’ activities with computers and several indexes were constructed to define the comparison groups. Finally, a multiple linear regression analysis was performed to explain the frequency of the activities. Results show that students with access to computers at home mainly perform activities categorized as Socializing, Academic, Gaming and Production and that although the absolute frequency of these activities differs across groups, the profiles of computer use are surprisingly similar for groups based on students’ socio-economic group, experience with ICT, and self-confidence in the use of ICT. The only variable that discriminates user profiles is gender. Based on these findings, it can be claimed that Chilean secondary students with access to computers at home tend to show a rather homogenous computer-use profile, once access is equated.     

A Retrospective: Fifteen Years of Computers in English

The initial observations of English teachers that computers have the potential to support collaboration, creativity, independent learning, subversion and reflection have been confirmed by fifteen years of work in the field, as have early concerns that computers could be used to direct inappropriate activities. Questions about the role of the teacher, the function of the computer, as well as the nature of pupils' learning when using IT, are now much better understood. Yet changes in the educational context within which English teachers are working, new understandings engendered by major curriculum projects and developments in the technologies themselves have brought about a shift in understanding of the significance of IT and its impact on the English curriculum. This paper shows how publications from the NATEMCET stable reflect the emergence of the field of English and IT.

Freedom and Privacy in Ambient Intelligence

This paper analyzes ethical aspects of the new paradigm of Ambient Intelligence, which is a combination of Ubiquitous Computing and Intelligent User Interfaces (IUI’s). After an introduction to the approach, two key ethical dimensions will be analyzed: freedom and privacy. It is argued that Ambient Intelligence, though often designed to enhance freedom and control, has the potential to limit freedom and autonomy as well. Ambient Intelligence also harbors great privacy risks, and these are explored as well.
