通过Piers-Harris儿童自我概念量表筛选出三至五年级低自我概念的学生,实验组接受认知训练,控制组不接受训练。认知训练以后,三个年级的实验组的自我概念水平提高的幅度均比控制组的幅度要大,经统计检验,差异都非常显著。这表明:(1)认知训练可提高学生的自我概念水平;(2)小学三到五年级自我概念水平的训练效果不存在年龄差异;(3)小学三到五年级自我概念的训练效果不存在性别差异。 相似文献

The global expansion of mass schooling has greatly increased opportunities for low-income families, and governments have devoted much effort to equalising access and quality in education systems. Alongside regular schooling, the so-called shadow education system of private supplementary tutoring has grown rapidly across the world. The fact that rich families can purchase more and better quality shadow education undermines the achievements of increased equality of opportunities in formal schooling. Drawing on a mixed-methods study in Shanghai, China, the article shows how shadow education has offset school equalisation policies through differentiation of access and through sorting mechanisms. Shadow education occupies a space beyond strict government control in which privileged families and elite schools ignore and mediate the equalisation policies, seeking competitive advantages. Uneven access to shadow education and tracking within it shape, maintain, and exacerbate inequitable schooling experiences at individual and institutional levels. 相似文献

The high rate of academic dishonesty reported among Chinese college students has created challenges for practitioners in both domestic and Western universities. Following two contrasting yet complementary scholarly approaches, this study explored the relative importance of predictors indicative of students’ intention to cheat (moral attitude, subjective norm and penalty enforcement) and of their educational preparedness for academic integrity (integrity engagement) in explaining academic dishonesty, with an emphasis on gender differences. We administered a questionnaire survey to a sample of 2009 Chinese undergraduate students. The results indicated that moral attitude and integrity engagement were the major predictors, that subjective norm accounted for marginal variations of academic dishonesty, and that the influence of penalty enforcement was insignificant. Some gender differences on both the mean score and effect levels of the four predictors were revealed. The effects of grade, year and area of study on academic dishonesty (and particularly their joint effects with gender) were noteworthy. These findings are discussed relative to the results of prior studies and the Chinese context. 相似文献

Framed by a queer theory lens, the paper examines four main topics: (a) sexual health and relationship risks for GSM youth, (b) comprehensive school-based sexuality education as a protective factor for sexual health and relationship risks, (c) the current availability of relevant sexuality education for GSM students in the United States, and (d) inclusive schools as a social determinant of health. This study investigated gender differences in students' perceptions of their psychosocial environment and related variables.
Analyses of data collected from 644 middle school students reveal that there were significant differences in boys' and girls'
perceptions, in favor of girls. Ten academic background variables were examined. Multiple regression results identified, in
addition to gender, school membership, attendance, time spent doing homework, students' academic expectations, course grade,
and course content as significant variables for all students, accounting for 31% of the variance in environment. There were
gender-related disparities for the variables involved. While time spent doing homework, students' academic expectations, course
grade, and course content had significant effects on both boys and girls' environments, school membership and time spent in
watching TV had effects only on girls' perceptions. Educational implications of the findings are also discussed in the article.

Massage therapy program directors completed an online survey to explore sexual education in massage therapy programs. The overall data suggest that program directors are supportive of sexual health education in the training of massage therapists and that such education is integrated into several aspects of their training programs. To enhance sexual health education, massage therapy programs could collaborate with specialists in sex therapy or sexuality education. Massage therapy training may need to include the following topics: working with clients who have been sexually abused, working with transsexual clients, understanding sexual arousal processes, and understanding dynamics between men and women. 相似文献
