基于非对称逆布局表示的图像周长计算方法

The non-symmetry anti-packing image representation （NAIR） uses a sequence of the instances of some predefined prototypes to represent an image. While significantly reducing the instances required to represent an image in contrary to the quadtree and the linear quadtree, however, NAIR has lost the explicit space relationship among these instances and hence made some geometric operations such as perimeter computation hard to be implemented. In this paper, longitude and latitude grid （L^2G）, a data structure which can restore lost space relationship from the NAIR is first presented, and then a novel algorithm to compute the perimeters of the images represented by the NAIR is presented. The experimental results show that the new algorithm has saved at least 90% of the running time comparing with that based on the quadtree.     

血管分割可视化中的快速交互型渲染方法

Medical diagnosis software and computer-assisted surgical systems often use segmented image data to help clinicians make decisions. The segmentation extracts the region of interest from the background, which makes the visualization clearer. However, no segmentation method can guarantee accurate results under all circumstances. As a result, the clinicians need a solution that enables them to check and validate the segmentation accuracy as well as displaying the segmented area without ambiguities.With the method presented in this paper, the real CT or MR image is displayed within the segmented region and the segmented boundaries can be expanded or contracted interactively. By this way, the clinicians are able to check and validate the segmentation visually and make more reliable decisions. After experiments with real data from a hospital, the presented method is proved to be suitable for efficiently detecting segmentation errors. The new algorithm uses new graphic processing uint (GPU) shading functions recently introduced in graphic cards and is fast enough to interact on the segmented area, which was not possible with previous methods.

提出了一种研究非稳态酶动力学的布尔函数图形方法，利用这一方法，用代数及微分方法处理十分困难的大稳态酶动力学问题便可用相对简易的图形算法来处理。     

Amplifying John Muir’s life: a third sector intervention in providing alternative narrative resources to secondary schools*

In 2014, Scottish Book Trust (SBT) published and distributed classroom sets of a graphic novel about the life of pioneering environmental activist John Muir to all secondary schools in Scotland, where he is still relatively unknown. This paper outlines the collaborative process SBT used in producing the graphic novel and sets out to trace the impact of this intervention through teacher and pupil surveys. The former survey reveals that not all teachers were able to make use of the classroom sets but that those who did found it useful in bringing up environmental issues in a range of disciplinary and cross-disciplinary contexts. The book served as a narrative resource for some teachers in designing lesson plans and even in designing entire courses. The pupil survey found significant mean shifts in the New Environmental Paradigm Scale for Children and the Inclusion of Nature in Self Scale in participating classes and across all classes. Building on insights from narrative therapy and narrative ethics, we argue that shifting attitudes and values requires new narratives alongside new experiences and the space in which to dialogue about the two in community. Further research into reading and environmental education is advocated.

《中国分类主题词表》的OWL表示及其语义深层揭示研究

本文阐述了将中文叙词表转换成网上可共享本体的意义。在借鉴国外相关研究成果的基础上 ,提出了用OWL(WebOntologyLanguage)表示《中国分类主题词表》的具体方案 ,并就词表中存在的大量复合概念的深层语义揭示提出了解决意见。
