准确定位突出特色——勘查技术与工程(岩土)专业发展浅析

勘查技术与工程专业是与经济和社会发展联系紧密的应用型本科专业。本文分析了东南大学交通学院本专业发展历史、发展机遇,在交通领域、环境岩土工程领域的专业定位与专业特色,分析了目前该专业建设所遇到的一些困难,并提出了专业发展建议。     

全过程工程咨询背景下工程项目管理课程教学改革实践

培育全过程工程咨询是建筑行业目前发展的重点,"工程项目管理"课程教学应与时俱进,理论联系实际。该文在分析工程项目管理课程特点和发展现状的基础上,探讨全过程工程咨询引发行业变革,基于全过程工程咨询背景下,从课程内容、学习模式、评价体系三方面对"工程项目管理"课程教学进行了改革实践,取得了良好的效果,以期为"工程项目管理"课程教学提供参考和借鉴。

《工程材料及成形技术》教学改革的行与思

在对“工程材料及成形技术”及其实验课的课程教学改革实践中,增加了在线课堂学习,丰富了实验课的教学内容,据此对课堂教学的形式和考评机制进行了改革和实践探索,并对教改效果进行了反思。实践证明,教改在提升学生自主学习能力的同时,也有一些问题值得我们去反思、探索与改进。     

Development of a competency mapping tool for undergraduate professional degree programmes,using mechanical engineering as a case study

Mapping the curriculum of a professional degree to the associated competency standard ensures graduates have the competence to perform as professionals. Existing approaches to competence mapping vary greatly in depth, complexity, and effectiveness, and a standardised approach remains elusive. This paper describes a new mapping software tool that streamlines and standardises the competency mapping process. The available analytics facilitate ongoing programme review, management, and accreditation. The complete mapping and analysis of an Australian mechanical engineering degree programme is described as a case study. Each subject is mapped by evaluating the amount and depth of competence development present. Combining subject results then enables highly detailed programme level analysis. The mapping process is designed to be administratively light, with aspects of professional development embedded in the software. The effective competence mapping described in this paper enables quantification of learning within a professional degree programme, and provides a mechanism for holistic programme improvement.     

工程建筑物沉降监测与分析

工程建筑物无论在施工期,还是在竣工后的居住初期,都需要对其进行沉降监测与分析。沉降监测方法是通过布设基准点和沉降观测点,采用周期观测来获取建筑物沉降数据,采用沉降分析理论实现沉降监测。这对及时发现建筑物沉降情况,以便采取科学措施,保证人与建筑物安全,防止工程破坏事故。为今后建筑物设计提供数据都具有重要意义。     

加强实践环节的铁路线路课程设计探索

线路课程设计是一门综合运用理论和专业知识的实践课程,对工程实际经验依赖性很强。本文分析了目前铁道工程线路课程设计培养现状,论述了加强实践环节的必要性,并开展了加强赴现场模拟踏勘、邀请线路设计专家入校讲解等尝试,以期为类似实践性较强的课程设计提供参考。     

The Reflection-Informed Learning and Instruction to Improve Students’ Academic Success in Undergraduate Classrooms

Abstract

This study addressed the role of the reflection-informed learning and instruction (RILI) model on students’ academic success by using CourseMIRROR mobile system. We hypothesized that prompting students to reflect on confusing concepts stimulates their self-monitoring activities according to which students are expected to review their understanding, search for related knowledge, and try to identify the confusing concepts. With this student-reflection information, instructors can thus address students’ difficulties effectively, which can lead to enhanced academic success. We tested our hypothesis by conducting a semester-long quasi-experimental study in undergraduate industrial engineering classes (N?=?153). The analyses revealed that students in the RILI condition performed significantly better than students in the control condition (Cohen’s d = .82). In addition, reflection analysis showed that both quality and quantity of reflections were significantly associated with exam performance. Surveys indicated users highly valued the RIFI model; they rated CourseMIRROR favorably and said they would continue to use it in future classes.     

基于BIM技术的土建类复合型应用人才培养模式的研究与实践

高校教学改革正从以教师教学为中心向以学生为中心转化,以未来市场化为目标,培养市场需要的人才;土建类院校主要培养具备工程师基本训练,具有创新精神的高级工程技术人才。土建类院校包含的专业较多,各专业又相互关联,BIM技术由于它的可视化、精确化,在建筑设计、施工及后期运营方面正得到大力应用及推广。通过教学研究项目,希望摸索出一条培养具有BIM技术知识的复合型应用人才的有效路径。文章通过教学实践、BIM技术的学习及实践,使学生提高了学习兴趣,增强了本专业及相关专业知识,具备了一定的动手能力,提高了就业竞争力。由于课程设置限制,本项目未大面积推广,但为以后进行深入改革提供了经验。     

Software engineering education: some important dimensions

Software engineering education has been emerging as an independent and mature discipline. Accordingly, various studies are being done to provide guidelines for curriculum design. The main focus of these guidelines is around core and foundation courses. This paper summarizes the current problems of software engineering education programs. It also proposes some important dimensions as integral parts of software engineering education: interdisciplinary skills, practice experience, communication, skills on continuing education and professionalism. In the current guidelines and studies these dimensions are not addressed specifically. Although there could be other dimensions to be considered in software engineering education, we believe that the proposed ones are very crucial as software engineering is evolving more rapidly than any other engineering discipline. This study also provides a survey of some major universities’ undergraduate software engineering programs to evaluate these dimensions.
