2CUL Slavic: The View So Far

In fall 2016, the Columbia-Cornell collaboration in the area of Slavic & East European resource coordination and sharing celebrated its sixth year. The author reviews particulars of the development, implementation, and function of this program as well as some of the challenges that face such cross-institutional efforts.     

论语言中概念义与语符义的差异

概念的形成是多种符号系统包括视觉、听觉、嗅觉等符号作用与参与的过程。概念义可以通过语符来表现但语符不仅仅是用来表现概念的 ,它们是有限地反映与被反映的关系。语符可以在多个方面、多个层次上表现和反映人的多种精神与意识现象 ,其中包括人们对事物本质属性认识的概念。但作为表达形式的语符与作为表达内容的概念是两个不同层面的东西 ,不能简单地将语言的语符义转换为逻辑的概念义加以分析 ,亦不能用概念义取代对语符义的分析     

A collaborative assessment of students’ placement learning

The research informing this paper set out to investigate the qualitative experiences of students, supervisors and tutors involved in a summative collaborative assessment of placement learning on an undergraduate professional qualifying programme in the UK. Analysis of data gathered through semi-structured interviews provides valuable insights into its use. In particular, engagement in a collaborative assessment brings a degree of exposure for all concerned. Participants need to feel ‘able’ to participate, and ability to participate is linked to notions of agency and autonomy. Collaborative assessment design needs to acknowledge power relations and include strategies to reduce imbalances. The importance of recognising and working with the complexities of assessment should not be underestimated. Criterion referencing offers a guide to support consistency but can also falsely present assessment as mechanistic and instrumental. The research shows that it is in the ‘doing’ of assessment that a ‘shared language’ is developed. It demonstrates the value of active student engagement in assessment in relation to the construction and use of theory, developing reflective practice and assessment literacy. The collaborative assessment provides students with the opportunity to experience a ‘performance of understanding’ in a community of practice that, whilst pressured, reflects ‘real’ professional life.     

Effective and inclusive schools? Attention to diversity in highly effective schools in the Autonomous Region of the Basque Country

This paper forms part of a research project that aims to characterise best practices in highly effective schools in the Autonomous Region of the Basque Country (ARBC). The aim is for the best practices identified to serve as points of reference when designing improvement plans to be implemented in all schools in the ARBC, with the advice and support of the education inspectorate. Highly effective schools are identified through the results of the Diagnostic Assessments carried out by the Basque Institute for Research and Evaluation in Education (ISEI-IVEI) of all primary and secondary schools in the ARBC. Multilevel statistical modelling and Hierarchical Linear Models were used to select 32 highly effective schools, with highly effective being taken to mean any school with higher-than-expected student results after adjusting for the effect of contextual factors. Eighty-three interviews were conducted with management teams, educational advisors and inspectors at each of the selected schools. This paper presents the results obtained in relation to how attention to diversity is organised. The practices identified included, among others, inclusive actions such as support teaching in ordinary classrooms, the splitting up of classroom groups, the formation of heterogeneous groups and the conceptualisation of the support provided as a shared teaching responsibility.     

地区产业竞争力评价方法及其应用--以济南、青岛为例

制定了评价地区产业竞争力的原则,明确了影响地区产业竞争力的因素,构建了评价地区产业竞争力的指标体系,提出了改进的层次分析法和功效函数的概念,并结合有关数据,对济南市和青岛市的产业竞争力进行了评估,最后对比较结果进行了简明分析。     

黑龙江省城市现代化水平的聚类分析

城市是现代文明最集中的代表，城市现代化也是中国现代化建设的目标，因此对城市现代化水平的准确定位也是关系到城市未来建设的重要环节。城市现代化作为一个综合概念，对其进行定量分析是一项系统的工作，本文根据城市现代化的特征，选取10个指标对黑龙江省城市现代化水平进行聚类分析，把12个城市的现代化水平由高到低分成五类，并提出了相应的对策建议。     

课堂合作研讨的有效策略探讨

在课堂上开展有效的合作研讨,需要注意运用各种策略。角色策略:教师转变角色,让学生成为课堂研讨学习的主体。目标策略:教师有明确的目标意识和目标管理能力。激发、诱导策略:教师善于激发、诱导学生进入合作研讨的学习场。调控策略:注意对全体学生进行全局性调控,注意调控目标方向、节奏和进度、课堂氛围等。创新策略:努力创新研讨内容和研讨形式。评价策略:发挥教学评价的功能,注意评价的及时性、正反评价的结合、评价的多元化等。     

基于xodo软件的实时交互和远程协同办公的稿件编校模式

针对期刊编辑在稿件编校中仍较多依赖人工纸笔的现状以及远程协同办公的需求,尝试使用一种新的稿件编校方式。在操作中采用xodo软件对稿件进行实时交互和远程协同办公编校。应用结果表明,与传统稿件编校方法相比,该方法具有完全实现无纸化办公的优点,可实现实时交互和远程协同办公且数据共享共存,具有切实可行和广泛的应用前景。

互助式学习是在教师的指导下,依据学生体能、技能个性为特征原则,自愿组合的一种相互配合、相互帮助、相互激励、相互竞争的教学形式,以更好地实现学生在教学中的主体地位,激发学习的主动性和自主性,实现体育教学的最优化.事实证明,体育课采用互助式学习有巨大的优越性.
