《欲望如烟》中的"堕民"

本文从<欲望如烟>对"堕民"形象的塑造入手,初步探讨了沈贻炜先生新作的文化底蕴与艺术魅力.文章指出,作为一部反映清末社会动荡的历史小说,它将历史透镜的聚光点投射到中国社会的一个特殊阶层--"堕民"身上,对"宏大叙事"模式的突破,成为其个性化叙事得以充分展示的前提,显示出作家在处理历史题材创作时的独到之处;在表现手法上,作家将历史的真实与自我人生的经验与顿悟结合,塑造出一批生动可感的人物形象,达到艺术真实与历史真实的高度统一.在贱民问题正逐渐被中国人驱逐到历史记忆深处的今天,这部小说的文化含义尤其值得重视.     

The Ephemeral,the Essential and the Material in the Conservation of Contemporary Art: Decision-Making for the Conservation of a Work of Art Made with Butterfly Wings

This article presents the intervention process carried out on a work of art created by artist Yolanda Gutiérrez Acosta, using a series of ephemeral materials such as butterfly wings and agave thorns. The work, an installation from 2002, is entitled ‘Efímeras’ (‘Ephemera’) and consists of 12 flowers mounted on acetate sheets and attached to the same with vinyl acetate copolymers and acrylic acid esters (Mowilith®). These flowers are installed on the floor in a bed of dried flowers. The conservation of contemporary art can lead to some previously unimaginable problems for restorers. Current works of art are somewhat material in nature, but they also have a conceptual dimension that is essential for their artistic interpretation. The artist’s participation in the decision-making process prior to the restoration was quite useful. The passage of time, its effect on the work, and the need to understand the possibility of the demise and destruction of the work were implicit as of the onset of its creation, such that, according to the artist, we are forced to reflect upon the possibilities of its future state.     

Managing Uncertainty for Preventive Conservation

ABSTRACT

This paper examines how conservators engage with uncertainty when creating preventive conservation strategies. It argues that by recognising contexts in which uncertainty will be encountered conservators can develop effective management strategies. A typology of uncertainty explores a range of categories of uncertainty, their experience in preventive conservation and identifies distinct approaches to manage them. Managing uncertainty may include acts of defining its parameters, exposing and resolving through communication or protecting from with contingency. Whatever approach is adopted it must be accepted that uncertainty cannot be avoided. It is important therefore to aim to live well with uncertainty and the paper advocates for preventive conservation applications of strategies recommended in health care for patients with life-threatening illnesses. These strategies include working on things that can be controlled, goal setting, acceptance and factoring in emotions. The ability to identify contexts in which uncertainty is inbuilt should trigger those concerned with preventive conservation to activate strategies developed for managing and living well with uncertainty.     

军人企业家领导特质研究——以万科集团总经理王石为例

全球众多成功的知名企业家中有很多都是军人出身,因而有人评论说世界上最大最优秀的商学院不是哈佛,不是斯坦福,而是西点军校。为此,本文首先运用文献分析法,探讨了军旅生活塑造了军人哪些独特的品质;采用案例分析法,对万科集团总经理王石的个案进行了深入分析。研究发现,军队造就了军人企业家与众不同的特质,而这些特质又很大程度上影响了他们的经营决策,进而帮助这些企业家领导企业走向成功。     

The advantage of mixing examples in inductive learning: a comparison of three hypotheses

Mixing examples of different categories (interleaving) has been shown to promote inductive learning as compared with presenting examples of the same category together (massing). In three studies, we tested whether the advantage of interleaving is exclusively due to the mixing of examples from different categories or to the temporal gap introduced between presentations. In addition, we also tested the role of working memory capacity (WMC). Results showed that the mixing of examples might be the key component that determines improved induction. WMC might also be involved in the interleaving effect: participants with high spans seemed to profit more than participants with low spans from interleaved presentations. Our findings have relevant implications for education. Practice schedules should be individually customised so society as a whole can profit from differences between learners.

We interviewed HIV+ individuals (N?=?59) and used a combination of deductive and inductive coding to analyze participants’ responses. Deductive codes consisted of four stigma characteristics (pose a threat to others’ health and safety, deviate from group standards, create negative emotional reactions in others, and failure to contribute), experiences of feeling stigmatized due to HIV status (yes or no), and the degree to which HIV stigma was a concern (major, minor, or no concern). Inductive coding identified examples of perceived and experienced stigma and stigma concerns on future disclosure decision-making. Practical implications discuss individual, institutional, and societal stigma-reduction interventions and programs.     

试论中学研究性学习的个体价值

研究性学习作为一种课题，引起了专家学者的积极讨论，在理论上给予了充分的重视。然而，研究性学习作为一门实实在在的课程，却没有引起人们足够的关注，在实践中得不到落实。当然，造成这种现状的原因是多种多样的。笔者认为，人们对研究性学习的教育价值，尤其是中学研究性学习的个体价值的认识不足是其中一个重要的原因。     

智慧城市应急决策情报体系构建研究

情报在城市突发事件应急决策中发挥着重要作用,建立情报灵、判断准、反应快的城市突发事件情报支持体系,是城市智能化建设的重要模块,也是智慧城市公共安全与应急管理的必然要求。本研究从顶层设计入手,以应急情报流与业务流为线索,以情报体系有效运行为目标,探究智慧城市应急决策情报体系的构建问题。从人员要素、机构要素、技术要素、资源要素、制度要素与行为要素六个方面,厘清了智慧城市应急决策情报体系的框架内容。从组织体系、保障体系与运行机制三个层面系统探讨了智慧城市快速响应情报体系的协同运作模式。大数据时代,智慧应急的情报工程化与情报平行化是未来发展的方向。图6。参考文献40。
