本文从"局内人—局外人"视角考量国际与比较教育研究问题。本文的论点是全球化背景已经变得愈加复杂,我们如何能够在自身所处的文化背景内外理解复杂问题的本质?我们是"局内人"还是"局外人"?"局外人"和"局内人"术语起源于许多与教育相关的学科,我们在对其理解时不能够将其仅仅作为一对完全相反的概念。这一对概念不断发生改变并不断适应不同的文化背景和环境。全球视角与权力、压迫和镇压相关。个体视角中的"个体"是指在国外生活和经历他国文化的人。他们可能同时兼有"局内人"和"局外人"身份。当越来越多的合作研究在不同的国家和文化背景下开展时,采用"局内人—局外人"视角研究国际比较教育问题将为研究者提供更多的研究思路。  相似文献

As im/migrant researchers of color working and living in the USA, we begin this article by discussing how our own transnational selves and research have created tensions with the normalized use of socially constructed and theorized categories and differences in US qualitative research practices. We theorize an alternative reflexive mode of conceptualizing a researcher self that can illuminate more contextually engaging understanding and relationships between researcher and researched within our transnational research contexts. We argue that our reflexive approach to researcher self as non‐unitary I, circulatory mode of porous and shifting entities simultaneously fracturing and morphing into each other in relation to its changing webs of relationships and history, can bring different ways of understanding and working with the ever changing and interconnected global‐local cultural, social, and political conditions and contexts of education and research.  相似文献

Professor Aguirre’s essay provides a strong argument for his thesis that the academy robs Chicana/o scholars of their presence and voice. However, he does not share much on how successful the agency of these scholars has been in opening the space needed for that presence, and what gains there have been in expressing their voice. The author reviews his commentary and concerns with Chicano Studies and provides additional information on the history and current status of the field. It seems that the numbers and distribution of Chicana/o Studies units, faculty and courses signal some measure of success, even while struggles for legitimacy and acceptability continue.  相似文献

In this paper, I report core findings of a small‐scale qualitative study that I conducted with a group of young people with vision impairment who attended an inclusive secondary school in the Australian state of Queensland. My objective was to capture their voiced experiences of their schooling through face‐to‐face interviews and to develop a substantive theory that was grounded in the collected data. Relevant to the study was my status as an insider researcher, which impacted both data collection and analysis. Here, I develop the methodological process that I followed and present core findings of the study. These findings shed light on the practices within schools that are designed to promote inclusion yet perpetuate exclusion for students with impaired vision.  相似文献

基于管理层内幕交易的薪酬动机视角,对薪酬动机下的管理层内幕交易影响因素进行理论与实证研究。结果发现:薪酬水平是影响管理层内幕交易行为的重要动因,其中管理层内部薪资差距、管理层与基层员工之间薪资差距与内幕交易之间呈现显著的正相关关系。此外,净资产收益率提高、公司规模以及独立董事规模扩大等因素也对内幕交易的发生具有一定作用。  相似文献

In this article, I offer a case of the predicaments I encountered in conducting teacher education research at my own institution and re‐examine these predicaments using an ethic of mindfulness and compassion. I explore how this Buddhist perspective might help researchers navigate what can be a lonely, ethically complicated research journey among their own colleagues. Based on this analysis, I propose that an ethic of mindfulness and compassion holds potential for guiding teacher education research and challenging researchers to see differently. I argue that conducting teacher education research using the lenses of mindfulness and compassion might propel social change aimed at increasing educational and social opportunity for all people and, in doing so, further the hope for justice in our relationships, teaching, and research.  相似文献

Despite the increasing interest in the experiences of multiracial individuals, as evidenced by the emergent body of literature and research related to multiracial experiences, we lack an understanding of methodological concerns related to research with multiracial individuals. Here, we seek to (1) investigate the applicability of theories of insider/outsider status to research conducted by and with multiracial individuals, (2) interrogate our own research experiences as multiracial scholars conducting research with multiracial students, and (3) identify implications from our analysis for other researchers. We conclude that understandings of methodological terms related to monoracial populations are limited in their applicability to research with multiracial individuals. Additionally, we conclude that navigating multiracial identities in research situations is a particularly complicated process aided less by a shared sense of identity or community between researcher and participants and more by experiences that stem from a similar need to engage in micronegotiations of racial and ethnic identities.  相似文献

本文引入“局内人”的概念,并以此为切入点,试图通过对韩国局内人,大韩武术功夫协会的专家、武术道馆负责人、韩国武术运动员的调查,探求他们心目中的中国武术形象及在韩国的发展状态,因为他们既有着中国武术的体认,也承载着韩国文化的传统和价值观,他们对中国武术的认知影响着该国局外人的态度。韩国局内人眼中的中国武术形象是华丽丰富、礼仪简单、不够规范及具有不确定性。同时,中韩两国虽共有很多相似文化,但由于各种因素的影响,韩国对中国文化始终保持着一定的距离,因此对于中国武术在韩国的发展,他们认为并没有那么“热闹”;在竞赛方面,女子项目尚未全面推进,然而武术竞赛赛事较全面、规范,对引导武术的发展发挥了重要的作用;他们会聘请中国教练员,但更注重保护本土教练员的发展;项目发展中,散打和太极拳表现出较好前景。如果说韩国对中国武术的认知是一面镜子,那么世界上其他国家或地区对中国武术的认知则是个多棱镜。对多棱镜中中国武术认知的虚与实、异与同的透析与组合,如何在其他国家对中国武术认知关系的建构中找到中国武术的自我认知,这是武术研究者需要解决的核心问题。  相似文献

This paper presents some initial ideas on how the theoretical concepts of the ‘insider’ and the ‘outsider’ might be re-examined in an era where advances in comparative, qualitative research methodologies seek to be more inclusive, collaborative, participatory, reflexive and nuanced. Earlier essentialist definitions of the outsider as detached and objective, and the insider as culturally embedded and subjective, are re-examined and set within an international research and teaching context that recognises the increased migration of people, ideas and educational policies. It is argued that, in the context of such change, it has become more difficult to categorise and label groups and individuals as being ‘inside’ or ‘outside’ systems, professional communities or research environments. Such essentialist notions, which often underpin the production of large-scale, international datasets of pupil achievement, need to be challenged so that more complex understandings can inform not only new methods of research design, research ethics, data collection and analysis, but also the creation of new knowledge, giving more validity to related education policy making. We recognise that individual and group identities can be multiple, flexible and changing such that the boundary between the inside and the outside is permeable, less stable and less easy to draw. The concept of a ‘third’, liminal space may have the potential to encourage new meaning which is constructed on the boundary between worlds where historical, social, cultural, political, ethical and individual understandings meet.  相似文献
