Measuring innovative performance: is there an advantage in using multiple indicators?

The innovative performance of companies has been studied quite extensively and for a long period of time. However, the results of many studies have not yet led to a generally accepted indicator of innovative performance or a common set of indicators. So far the variety in terms of constructs, measurements, samples, industries and countries has been substantial. This paper studies the innovative performance of a large international sample of nearly 1200 companies in four high-tech industries, using a variety of indicators. These indicators range from R&D inputs, patent counts and patent citations to new product announcements. The study establishes that a composite construct based on these four indicators clearly catches a latent variable ‘innovative performance’. However, our findings also suggest that the statistical overlap between these indicators is that strong that future research might also consider using any of these indicators to measure the innovative performance of companies in high-tech industries.     

包容性领导能促进科研人员提升创新绩效吗?——一个有中介的调节作用模型

企业科研人员的创新工作对于企业的长期生存与发展至关重要,因此,如何提高科研人员的创新绩效已经成为当前企业迫切需要解决的问题。在文献回顾的基础上,通过对20家高科技企业的356名科研人员及其直接主管的配对数据进行相关、回归分析,检验包容性领导、责任心以及主管信任对科研人员创新绩效影响的一个有中介的调节作用模型。研究结果表明,包容性领导对科研人员创新绩效具有显著正向影响;责任心显著调节包容性领导与科研人员创新绩效之间的关系;而且,责任心对包容性领导与科研人员创新绩效之间的调节作用以主管信任为中介。研究结论丰富了领导风格与员工创新等方面的研究,并对企业提高员工创新绩效具有实践上的指导意义。     

Influence of social media on operational efficiency of national scenic spots in china based on three-stage DEA model

An increasing number of national scenic spots around the world use social media, such as micro-blogs and Twitter, to promote their popularity and improve their operational performance. National scenic spots may adopt different social media behaviors that lead to unbalanced operational performance. This study takes the perspective of social media adoption in national scenic spots by looking into the influence of social media adoption behaviors on operational performance based on the three-stage data envelopment analysis model. We found that most of the national scenic spots in China have low pure technical efficiency and that operational performance, including social media popularity and operational performance, is significantly determined by various social media adoption behaviors.     

宋代致仕官员恋栈现象及其原因探析

官员退休通称致仕等,是中国古代封建王朝的重要议题。经过各个时期的不断调整,宋朝致仕制度也逐渐臻于完善。有宋一代,虽则出现了以王彦超为代表的一批知止而退的致仕官员,但年及而愿退者依然较少,官员恋栈现象仍然时有发生。导致官员恋栈的原因是多方面的,就主观层面而言,部分及年应退官员,或基于生计考虑,或缘于贪恋权财,而故作不知退。就客观层面而言,宋朝致仕标准"朝令夕改",具有极强的随意性特点,既褒奖提前退休,又额外奖励按时致仕,亦或惩处或者认可到时不退者,使得官员面对如此繁杂的情况,属实不知该退还是不该退,有些无所适从。最终他们在善变的致仕制度中徘徊前进,不知所措。     

从成本考量的视角看人类对民主政体的理性选择

民主政体作为人类政治文明的发展形态已有数千年的存在历史。人类之所以在当今普遍选择民主政体作为最基本的现实政治运作模式,也是基于成本考量的理性选择。民主政体相对于其他政体而言,具有比较优势。民主政体相对于其他政体而言,不仅能够有效降低调和政治冲突和维持政治及社会稳定的政治成本,而且能够有效降低公共决策的外部成本,更能够有效降低政治统治的风险成本和政治发展的机会成本。理性考察和分析民主政体的成本问题,不仅有利于加深对民主的理论认识,而且更有利于增强如何将社会主义民主做真做实的现实思考。

20世纪80年代以来,我国师德建设中,道义论强调自觉的责任感、对道德律的敬重感和行善后的愉悦感、行为的道德评价标准;功利论强调教师思想政治工作制度中道德与利益结合的合理性;契约论则肯定教师责任和道德义务来自于自愿契约。帮助教师认识、提升和凝炼师德的内涵,重振道义论伦理思想的理想精神,融合多元伦理思想,是我国师德建设的选择。     

基于结构方程模型的孵化器综合绩效评价

在已有研究的基础上,基于数据获取的便利性,构建一套科技企业孵化器综合绩效的评价指标体系.探索了硬件环境、软件环境、服务能力、发展潜力和绩效产出5个指标之间的关系,根据我国部分国家级企业孵化器的统计数据,利用AMOS软件建立结构方程模型并对模型进行计算和求解.根据得到的因子载荷和路径系数确定各个评价指标的权重.     

Assessing Marijuana Use,Anxiety, and Academic Performance Among College Students

This article examines the relationship between marijuana use and anxiety symptoms among college students, with a secondary focus on marijuana use and grade point average (GPA). A secondary analysis was conducted on data obtained from the American College Health Association–National College Health Assessment. Results indicated that marijuana use was negatively associated with GPA among students with current anxiety and no formal treatment. The relationships between these variables may be more complex than previously thought.
