当代媒介文化背景下大学生媒介素养培养探析

我国当代媒介文化呈现价值取向多元化的特点,拓宽了当代大学生视野的同时,也给处在价值观形成阶段的大学生产生了负面影响。近年来,我国大学生在媒介文化消费和传播中暴露出诸多不良行为,充分说明当代大学生媒介素养水平亟待提升。培养大学生媒介素养应以社会主义核心价值观为价值导向;以促进学生发展为根本宗旨;以批判性思维为重要抓手。推进我国大学生媒介素养培养应抓住以下三个方面:确立媒介素养课程目标,借鉴美国一流大学经验、立足我国国情,课程目标应涵盖批判性思维、合作沟通、媒介鉴赏、信息获取分析、创造媒介产品、信息技术运用,以及坚持以社会主义核心价值观为导向、坚持文化自信;开发媒介素养课程内容;加强大学教师媒介素养的在职培训。     

从应用理科到“新工科”

当前高等教育"新工科"建设的讨论中,从"应用理科"延伸出"新工科"被认为是一种可行的方案。本文分析了"理科"和"工科"的关系和区别,并从此角度探讨了由上述方案可能引出的问题及其解决途径。文章指出,从"应用理科"衍生出来的"新工科"在教育教学上必须增加新的工科要素或"基因";其中特别强调了由"创造人所需的有用物"的"工程"定义及其"多源"的综合性质所引发的"设计"与"融合"在教学上的重要性。笔者阐述了北大早年尝试建设新工科的经验教训并对此加以了说明。结合新经济所要求的"四新",文章分析了"融合"在"新产业"中的作用,据此提出了在建设新工科的课程体系中贯彻"融合"的一些原则建议。同时,文章还阐述了实践对新工科教育的重要性,并就"学产研"结合之途做了多方探讨。     

高校馆配中文电子书的现状与问题分析

当前,高校馆配中文电子书的市场供给由直接渠道中的内容出版商和间接渠道中的数字图书馆集成商、传统纸质书馆配商构成。高校馆配中文电子书市场存在着平台众多、整合困难,电子书格式、功能与呈现方式不一,标准的行业认可度和执行力不足,新书纸电同步率不高,定价偏低等诸多问题。高校图书馆界应增进与供给渠道商的沟通合作,发挥CALIS的桥梁纽带作用,加强电子书的阅读推广,培养师生成熟的版权意识,深入调研读者阅读行为,制订符合馆情的纸质书与电子书协同采访方针。     

图书馆与慕课课程的互动推广路径探析

针对慕课的快速发展及国内外图书馆界对慕课的关注及推广现状,探讨图书馆推广与服务慕课课程的互动对策。图书馆在面向院系教学服务的过程中,可将慕课推广与图书馆推广有机结合,依托图书馆空间与服务,推广慕课理念和课程,同时借助宣传慕课理念和课程,推广图书馆资源和服务。并从慕课资源的整合与导航,学科服务,资源荐购服务,图书馆新媒体宣传,图书馆专题推广活动五个途径探讨了互动推广的途径。     

Instructor Use of Educational Streaming Video Resources

Although a substantial majority of academic libraries now provide streaming video, the literature contains few studies which focus on how such resources are used. This article presents the results of a qualitative research study consisting of in-depth interviews with 18 instructors who use of one category of streaming video resources, educational videos, which are important because they are sold a higher price than most individuals can afford, and thus are typically only available to instructors through the library. The study's main findings are that instructors think educational streaming video resources compare favorably to commercial and non-streaming alternatives in most respects and use them whenever possible, that the primary benefit of these resources is to facilitate better use of limited class time by enabling instructors to assign videos as outside-of-class viewing, and that the library is not the primary means instructors use to discover new educational streaming video resources. Additional insights are provided into factors that academic libraries should consider when deciding which resources to invest in, which acquisition models to pursue, and what marketing strategies to employ to ensure maximum usage.     

The use of information and communication technologies in public libraries in South Africa as tools for bridging the digital divide: the case of the Kempton Park public library

ABSTRACT

The information and knowledge society has resulted in the exponential growth of information and communication technologies (ICTs), thus creating a gap between those who use ICTs and those who do not; hence the emergence of the term “digital divide” in the 1990s. One of the milestones of South Africa’s National Development Plan, a policy that charts the country’s development up until 2030, is to ensure that high-speed broadband internet is universally available at competitive prices. Notwithstanding the importance of ICTs in public libraries, the provision of such is still taking place on a limited scale in South Africa. This article investigates the use of ICTs in public libraries in South Africa as a tool in bridging the digital divide. It also examines the inequalities in access and use and suggests ways in which ICTs may be used to reduce the digital divide. A qualitative research methodology was adopted. In order for public libraries to function as an important tool in bridging the digital divide, there is a need to standardize the provision of public library services with regard to the digital divide.     

创客时代高校图书馆读者创客素养培育探究

[目的/意义]培育读者的创客素养是发展读者核心素养的关键之一,通过提出培育创客素养的有效途径,为在创客时代提升读者创客的创客素养提供借鉴。[方法/过程]基于创客素养教育涵义的分析,对创客素养包含的创客意识、创客道德、创客能力、创客技术和创客精神5个方面内容进行阐述,提出图书馆应通过采取转变思维观念、打造创客环境、渲染创客空间范式、培育不同创客DNA、支持组建创客团队等8种培育创客素养的途径。[结果/结论]图书馆应把握好双创教育的发展态势,正确实行空间再造,积极开展创客活动并实施创客素养教育,真正担当起双创教育的职责,为构建良好的校园创客文化做出贡献。     

网络舆情场中信息受众观点测度的机理及路径分析

[目的/意义]整合定性与定量的舆情研究视角,统一多模态研究对象,实现网络舆情信息受众的观点测度,可修复网络舆情分析与治理的理论与实践裂痕。[方法/过程]通过引入网络舆情场的概念,对网络舆情信息受众、受众观点测度的内涵进行诠释,就网络舆情场与信息受众观点测度的逻辑关系加以辩证讨论。[结果/结论]提出网络舆情场内舆情受众观点测度机理和具体测度路径,为后续网络舆情场中的网络舆情信息分析、多维度信息受众观点测度,受众认知规律发现,网络舆情监督和管控限制等层面的研究做相应铺垫。     

Applying a Software Development Product Cycle to Library Technology Adoption and Development

Product cycles have long been used in software development, but libraries can also benefit from a structured product life cycle to help manage technology development and acquisition. This article outlines a proposed product cycle for library technology management with information on implementing each step of the cycle. It will also include information for librarians assessing the success of structured technology management.     

More Than Just a Student Voice: Facilitating Student Leadership Development Through the Library Student Liaison Program

This article explores how the library-student liaison program at Eastern Washington University (EWU) Libraries has evolved into an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills. Originally designed to foster better communication between the EWU Libraries and students enrolled at the university, we recognized that the process of achieving established goals for the program provided a vehicle for students' leadership-skill development. To facilitate the leadership process, librarians employed the Social Change Model. Designed specifically for college students, this model engages the student to develop individual capacities to strengthen group activities that foster positive changes in the community and society.
