粤西地区空间经济联系与地缘经济关系匹配研究

运用空间经济联系和地缘经济关系及其匹配理论是研究城市或区域规划的热点。以粤西地区为研究对象,在广东省的范围内分析城市群内部和城市群与外部的空间经济联系和地缘经济关系及其匹配状态。结果显示,粤西三市不是规范的经济区域,而是作为支撑珠三角区域的经济腹地存在,城市间同质化竞争严重。以该结论为基础提出了粤西地区经济发展的建议。

Validation of a wireless shoe insole for ground reaction force measurement

Ground reaction force measurements are a fundamental element of kinetic analyses of locomotion, yet they are traditionally constrained to laboratory settings or stationary frames. This study assessed the validity and reliability of a new wireless in-shoe system (Novel Loadsol/Pedoped) for field-based ground reaction force measurement in hopping, walking, and running. Twenty participants bilaterally hopped on a force plate and walked (5 km/hr) and ran (10 km/hr) on an instrumented treadmill on two separate days while wearing the insoles. GRFs were recorded simultaneously on each respective system. Peak GRF in hopping and peak GRF, contact time (CT), and impulse (IMP) in walking and running were compared on a per-hop and step-by-step basis. In hopping, the insoles demonstrated excellent agreement with the force plate (ICC: 0.96). In walking and running, the insoles demonstrated good-to-excellent agreement with the treadmill across all measures (ICCs: 0.88–0.96) and were reliable across sessions (ICCs within 0.00–0.03). A separate verification study with ten participants was conducted to assess a correction algorithm for further agreement improvement but demonstrated little meaningful change in systemic agreements. These results indicated that the Novel Loadsol system is a valid and reliable tool for wireless ground reaction force measurement in hopping, walking, and running.     

Communicated Stereotypes,Attitudes, and Intended Accommodation of Appalachians

ABSTRACT

The study illuminates intergroup cognitions and intended communication towards Appalachians. American MTurk workers’ (N = 252) open-ended responses illuminated stereotype content of “backwards,” “uneducated,” “poor,” “mountain dwelling,” “self-reliant,” “kind,” and “prejudiced,” corroborating non-Appalachians’ closed-ended responses that Appalachians are deemed moderately competent and warm. The previous contact with an Appalachian yielded no significant differences in “attitudes towards Appalachians” scores. Intended (non)accommodations towards Appalachians commonly included “no adjustments,” with a variant array of overaccommodations (e.g. talking slower) and avoidance that either invoked or enforced stereotypes. Results may inform future testing and enhancement of intergroup and interpersonal communication with and about Appalachians.     

粤语差比式“X+A+过+Y”的类型学地位——比较方言学和区域类型学的视角

基于比较方言学和区域类型学视角,本文力图证明:1)差比式X+A+过+Y是粤语区别于其他方言的一个显著特征,而少数闽、客、官话方言采用该式则是粤语影响的产物。2)东南亚语言在过型差比式上的共享特征导源于粤语X+A+过+Y的区域扩散。3)粤语差比式X+A+过+Y源于自身的独立创新而非古汉语特征的承继。     

Exploring the influences on classroom-based contact via shared education in Northern Ireland

Initiatives in intercultural education have frequently involved the promotion of contact between members of different groups as a means of improving intergroup relations. Experience from Northern Ireland suggests, however, that such schemes have often been organised and delivered in such a way that opportunities for sustained, high-quality contact are limited. This paper considers processes of contact in one relatively recent initiative, “shared education”, which involves collaboration between separate schools to deliver classes to Catholic and Protestant pupils in mixed groups. Employing qualitative methods of observation and interviewing to capture participants’ experiences of contact, the research explores the influences on the quality and frequency of cross-group interaction in the shared class. With findings highlighting the subject and pedagogy, teacher’s approach and classroom arrangement as key factors, the study offers suggestions for policy and practice to enhance opportunities for contact and relationship-building in mixed classes.

广西来宾市兴宾区良塘乡良塘街每年农历三月二十三日都会举行妈祖游神巡境活动,妈祖信仰习俗的背后折射出自清代以来两广日益加强的经济联系与文化交流。每年一次的盛大妈祖游神巡境,则是良塘老街的粤东移民后裔借此强调自我身份认同的好机会,亦是他们增强群体凝聚力的一种方式。
