英语的国际语言优势及其社会经济背景

自二十世纪初 ,尤其是二战以来 ,英语已成为名副其实的国际性交流媒介。笔者认为 ,英语自身的发展历史和特性为其成为世界语言提供了可能性 ,而世界社会经济的发展无疑为其成为世界语言创造了必要条件。这两种要素的结合 ,使英语拥有其它语言所无法企及的优越性 ,从而牢牢确立起其作为国际性语言的坚实基础。     

开展双语教学的几点思考

随着中国经济国际化程度的提高,对国际化人才的需要也越来越多,对高等经济类院校提出了新的要求。能否培养出精通外语的经济专业人才将成为衡量一所学校教学水平高低的一个重要标志。这就要求高校必须尽早创造条件,积极开展双语教学。     

国际贸易实务课程跨校修读学分教学的实践研究

辽宁省跨校修读学分项目始于2014年,其目的是打破传统教学模式的局限,更好地为学生提供优质教育资源。文章以辽宁科技大学和沈阳工业大学合作项目“国际贸易实务”课程为例,对跨校修读教学现状进行分析,探究提升学生学习效果的路径,为后续项目的成功实施提供建议。     

中国乡村治理的演进逻辑及其影响

在国家与农村关系的制度框架下,从政府与乡村社会两个层面和"官治"与"自治"两条主线考察,中国乡村治理的演进呈现出一条自治化(县政乡治)——行政化(乡政治理)——行政化与自治化并行(乡政村治)的变迁轨迹。中国乡村治理的演进逻辑影响深远,以至我们改善乡村治理的任何努力都不可能脱离"乡土中国"熟人社会抑或半熟人社会这一历史基础及其演变,都不能不重视乡村治理单一行政化的近代特征及其教训,都不能不肯定村民自治这一具有民主价值的当代元素。     

Teacher Candidates’ Perceived Learning in an International Exchange Program: An ICT Course Example

ABSTRACT

This article reports the perceived learning of a group of Chinese teacher candidates who audited an ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) literacy course while participating in an exchange programme between Southwest University in China and the University of Windsor in Canada. Data were collected through 1) reflective notes written by visiting students and 2) semi-structured interviews conducted with them towards the end of their visit. The majority of participants stated that the learning experience helped them to realise the important role theory plays in the learning of ICT and to seek ideas of how to creatively integrate ICT in their future classrooms. Participants with limited ICT knowledge and skills reported that by being exposed to various functions of frequently used programmes and many free software programmes, they felt more confident in using ICT in their own teaching. Furthermore, those with strong ICT backgrounds found that the course helped them to understand the relationship among ICT, society, and pedagogy. The teacher candidates’ perceived learning included aspects of culture and pedagogy in addition to ICT knowledge and skills. Coming to know in ways like this is critically important to international partnerships and foundational to reciprocal learning where each learns from the other.     

Cross-cultural “distance”, “friction” and “flow”: exploring the experiences of pre-service teachers on international practicum

The focus of this paper is to illustrate Australian regional pre-service teachers' perceptions of an international practicum: their cross-cultural understanding, notions of privilege and teacher/professional identity development. Findings indicate that there were three overlapping dimensions of cross-cultural understanding for pre-service teachers: distance, friction and flow. At times students acknowledged the value of their placement, yet indicated a lack of empathy and engagement with the culture visited. At other times there was clear frustration at the cultural differences, alongside a growth in awareness. The fullest dimension was where pre-service teachers and their students learnt from each other, signalling a sharing towards cross-cultural understanding. Implications of these findings aim to inform how international practicums are designed in the future, as well as signalling directions for further research relating to these border crossings.

论中学政治观教材的百年嬗变及其现代反思

重视中学生政治观的培养与养成,对于国家发展、民族兴旺有着至关重要的意义。中国自1902年新式的完整的学校教育制度建立以来,中学政治观教材经历了清末民初时期的孕育初创、新民主主义革命时期的博弈变革和社会主义建设时期的曲折发展的坎坷历程。通过梳理和反思中学政治观教材这一百余年的嬗变轨迹,总结经验教训,分析发展趋势,对于我们新时期中学政治观教材的革新有着重大启迪。     

WTO规则与中国参与国际教育贸易竞争的道路选择

中国教育将伴随着入世钟声的敲响而加快对外开放的步伐。外国教育机构普遍看好中国的教育市场，教育资源的国际化流动将对中国教育的发展提出更高要求，中国教育需要抓准机遇，走出传统思维定式，以开拓进取的创新精神，建立教育发展特区，为积极参与国际教育贸易竞争而探索有中国特色的与国际教育接轨的发展规律。     

China’s international student recruitment as ‘outward-oriented’ higher education internationalisation: an exploratory empirical inquiry

This study investigates China’s international student recruitment strategy and policies as a dimension of its present approach of using higher education internationalisation for soft power and image enhancement. An exploratory survey of international graduate students in English instruction programmes in education-related majors in three Chinese universities has been conducted to analyse their attitudes towards China’s approach. Quantitative analysis has been conducted on the survey data based on Holmes’s four-pattern taxonomy for analysing contextual features, which includes normative patterns, sociological laws, national conditions, and deep cultural roots. Qualitative data have been collected and analysed as a supplement. This study attempts to reveal the relations between international students’ source-country contextual features, identified based on Holmes’s taxonomy, and their attitudes towards China’s approach in international student recruitment. Policy suggestions are provided based on these findings.
