从民俗文化视野透视“交往与馈赠”的哲学意义

在礼尚往来的交往过程中,不同的历史阶段,交往习俗又表现出不同的特征。其中一个总的发展趋势,就是在交往中总是"人、物、事"这三个因素精神性追求的增长;这三者的完美追求和交融,构成一个时代交往习俗和文明的标志。通过对这种"交往与馈赠"习俗的透视,可以折射出不同时期它所包含的哲学意义。     

What traits do academics value in student writing? Insights from a psychometric approach

The number of students studying for university qualifications through the medium of English and for whom English is not their first language has increased significantly in recent years. This, along with efforts to widen access to those under-represented in higher education, has brought into focus the question of what academics see as constituting a ‘good’ piece of student writing. In this small-scale pilot study, Thurstone’s method of paired comparisons was used to establish a scale for ranking six essays in terms of how favourably each was viewed by academic lecturers when compared with every other essay in the set. Kelly’s repertory grid technique was subsequently applied to interviews conducted with the same lecturers to establish which traits they associated with the upper and lower end of the scale. Findings suggest that this methodology represents a promising approach to establishing what academic tutors regard as the key elements of good writing and thus provides an indication of what English teachers might fruitfully focus on in their teaching of the skill.

中美两国文化中的隐私观念比较

中美两国由于处在东西方不同的文化之中,在文化取向、人与自然的关系、人与人的关系、社会规范、思维方式和生活方式等各方面都表现出很大的差异。隐私观念也是这些文化差异的表现之一。了解中美两国不同的隐私观,有助于双方的沟通和交往,避免产生跨文化交际中的失误。     

不同竞合情景下企业知识获取和绩效关系的研究

摘要：本文基于企业间竞争合作关系的程度差异,提出2×2的竞合关系矩阵,并通过实证研究检验了不同竞合组合情境下企业的知识获取、个人关系与合作绩效特征的差异以及它们之间的影响关系。研究结果表明,与其他三个竞合情境相比,企业间高程度的竞争与高程度的合作并存更有利于推动企业进行知识获取,促进个人关系的完善以及合作绩效水平的提高,为企业在转型经济环境下赢得持续竞争优势提供一种新的战略选择视角。     

Relationship Understanding Between Emotional Stability,Self-Disclosure and Social Adjustment

This paper discusses a survey, carried out by the authors, of 211 employees’ employed in public and private manufacturing organizations in North India to determine if emotional stability acts as a mediator between self-disclosure and social adjustment. Capitalization theory has been used as theoretical framework to examine the proposed relationships. Results indicate that high self-disclosure has positive association with social adjustment. Results also suggest that emotional stability partially mediates self-disclosure and social adjustment relationship. Implications for future research include further examination through additional mediators and other dimensions of self-disclosure from capitalization theory in understudied non-U.S. cultures like India.

构建和谐的人际关系——《中华传统道德的现代意义》评介

伦理道德是中华民族文化和民族精神的核心。我们如何认识和对待中华传统道德,则是近代以来引起人们广泛关注和争论的问题。《中华传统道德的现代意义》一书,立足于一个民族的生命和她的道德传统的生命是同一的理论视点,既尊重传统,把传统道德作为我们当今道德建设的重要思想资源,又立足当代构建和谐社会的时代主题,把和谐的人际关系作为和谐社会的重要内容,以人际关系为主线、以构建和谐人际关系为核心,对中华传统道德进行了富有新意和创意的现代诠释。     

青少年人际和谐、社会支持与心理弹性的关系

以青少年人际和谐问卷、社会支持问卷、自我压力问卷为工具,以广州市和惠州市1003名青少年学生为对象,探讨青少年人际和谐、社会支持与心理弹性之间的关系。结果表明:青少年人际和谐总体情况良好;青少年人际和谐、社会支持与心理弹性显著相关,人际和谐、社会支持对心理弹性具有显著的预测作用;社会支持在人际和谐与心理弹性间其部分中介效应作用。
