主要由计算机和网络工作者设计开发的搜索引擎，经过一段时间的运行和实践，其弊端已越来越明显。专家们呼吁用“图书馆员的思维”来管理网上信息资源，这明网络信息的组织和管理呼唤以知识组织的理论来指导，才能达到高有序化。因此，图书馆应在网络信息时代抓住机遇，构筑自己的搜索引擎。

对运动技能形成的传统观点进行了重新认识,对田径运动关于运动技能形成的三个阶段之间的关系提出了质疑.结合运动技能形成过程中的生理、心理特点,分析了导致学生学习技能过程中产生错误动作的原因.认为:学生学习技能过程中,如果静态与动态概念不清、运动负荷强度过大、心理定向错误、基本运动能力差,必然导致错误动作的出现.这四个方面也是运动技能能力提高的随时干扰因素.     

“最佳二传竞技水平”的概念模型开发及测评方法

为了克服“二传竞技水平”测评指标的选用及量化难度大的困难;为了提供一套科学、客观、实用的多指标测评体系,以“三论归一学说”为理论指导,把二传的本质是“变换器”作为测评体系的开端,以开发“最佳二传竞技水平”的概念为基础,以具有权威性和代表性的文献为依据,建立了“最佳二传竞技水平”的概念模型,并结合测评原则推演出模型指标体系。指标体系经理论论证、专家验证、实践检验后证明：满足测量学的“三性”要求,不仅能为参赛二传手的二传竞技水平排序,而且其量化分析报告能为二传训练提供指导性的反馈信息。

More Than Just a Student Voice: Facilitating Student Leadership Development Through the Library Student Liaison Program

This article explores how the library-student liaison program at Eastern Washington University (EWU) Libraries has evolved into an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills. Originally designed to foster better communication between the EWU Libraries and students enrolled at the university, we recognized that the process of achieving established goals for the program provided a vehicle for students' leadership-skill development. To facilitate the leadership process, librarians employed the Social Change Model. Designed specifically for college students, this model engages the student to develop individual capacities to strengthen group activities that foster positive changes in the community and society.     

Creating Better Learners Through Learning Science: A Sample of Methods

This article proposes the incorporation of learning science into the programming and operation of public libraries. Learning science, a multidisciplinary field spanning cognitive science, psychology, neuroscience, economics, anthropology, and linguistics, has identified proven methods for enhancing learning at any age. The article highlights some of the tools and insights that are most relevant to libraries in their role as centers for informal learning.     

An integrated model of workload,autonomy, burnout,job satisfaction,and turnover intention among Taiwanese reporters

This study examines the relationships among workload, news autonomy, burnout, job satisfaction, and turnover intention among Taiwanese reporters. Results of a survey of 1,099 reporters indicate that workload and news autonomy were significantly associated with burnout. In addition, burnout was found to be negatively related to job satisfaction, which in turn had a significant effect on turnover intention. The results not only highlight the important role of workload and news autonomy in predicting burnout, but also extend previous research on journalist burnout by showing that job satisfaction acts as a mediator in the relationship between burnout and turnover intention.
