谈高职学生职业素质的培养

高职教育对于学生日后职业的选择和发展起着至关重要的作用。引导在校学生做好个人职业生涯规划是高职教育的重要课题,高职院校必须加强高职学生职业素质的培养,促进学生发展。高职学生职业素质包括职业技能、职业道德及个人修养等。高职学生在校期间需认清自我,明确个人的职业方向、职业锚、职业兴趣,为最大限度地了解和融入社会做好准备,同时做好个人的职业生涯规划。

分析了高校实验技术队伍人员结构、知识结构不合理,缺乏活力和创造力等问题,阐述了解决这些问题的紧迫性。从机制建设角度阐述构建一支结构合理、具有高度凝聚力和积极创造力的高素质、高质量的实验技术队伍是当前实验室建设中的重要任务。机制建设包括团队建设机制、制度与约束机制、绩效考评机制、激励机制和岗位培训机制。     

创新与重构：卓越法律人才培养模式研究

＂卓越法律人才教育培养计划＂是针对我国现行法律人才培养模式存在的弊端而提出的。卓越法律人才教育培养模式的构建应当从以下几个方面入手：革新＂五重五轻＂的观念,向重视法律应用能力的卓越教育培养理念转变;优化法律人才培养方案,形成高校与实务部门共同制定培养目标、设计课程体系、开发优质教材、组织教学团队、建设实践基地的＂五个梯次＂人才培养格局;强化法学实践教学环节,构建以两个＂基地＂、四个＂平台＂和八个＂专训＂为内容的＂248＂实践性课程教学体系;重构实践教学评价体系,形成教师对学生的评价、高校对教师的评价、实务部门对高校的评价、实务部门对学生的评价所组成的＂四方评价＂闭环系统。     

Leadership and social capital: engaging small Australian communities in development and implementation of learning plans

ABSTRACT

The paper explores the processes by which two Australian rural communities established Community Learning Plans (CLPs). It acknowledges the role of CLPs as contributors to social and economic change through influencing employment rates, income equity, social cohesion and reduction in poverty. In addressing the research question: What factors contribute to the effective development and implementation of a CLP in a small rural community? The paper reveals the importance of evidence and clarity of vision such as improved social and economic outcomes as core rationales for triggering the development of CLPs. The analysis of leadership and social capital resources drawn upon from trigger for a CLP through initiation, development and reflection to sustainable embedding in community, reveals the interplay between formal community leadership structures such as Council, community members, education, business, training and social services, and external actors as a predicator of communities’ ability to enact CLPs. Maturity of social capital resources and leadership processes and resources influence the development and implementation of plans in alignment with community needs and aspirations. The paper advocates for reward and recognition frameworks to help connect, engage and sustain stakeholder groups into community learning initiatives through providing relevance to their business or activity.     

The Regular Educator's Role in the Individual Education Plan Process

The migration of online educational needs to tools like Google applications, coupled with the realization that today's twenty-first-century students are digital natives who have lived their entire lives exposed to current technology, forces educators to find ways to use technology to enhance traditional curriculum. In this article, the author examines how one program, Advanced Placement Language and Composition, incorporates Web 2.0 tools including several Google Applications (Gmail, Docs, notebook, personalized homepage, Web pages, calendar, blogger, and talk) into its high school curriculum. Furthermore, the author addresses the gap between students and teachers that occurs cross-generationally in a discussion of successful technology best practices in teaching and learning as seen by a baby boomer teacher, a Gen X teacher, and the N-Gen students taught daily.     

Questions of (re)production and legitimation: A second screening of three films on teacher-student relations

This study considers three Hollywood films that take, as their subject, a teacher-hero confronted with a 'problem' group of students and, as their narrative, the rehabilitation of these students and the resolution of their problems. Employing a Bourdieuian analysis, we attempt a second screening of these films on two levels: first, by stepping inside these celluloid classrooms, so to speak, and narrating a different text, one that is spoken from the position of students and which challenges each film's portrayal of good people achieving fine things; and secondly, by screening for gaps in their accounts of schooling, exposing their limited frames of reference and their legitimacy to speak on behalf of authentic classrooms. The first of these projects is undertaken as a way of challenging teachers and interested others to be wary of uncritical readings of popular images of teaching, whereas the second provides a beginning from which to consider how teachers' pedagogy and school curricula can be informed by a radical democratic view of education - how teachers might embrace the foreign.     

Developing primary science through IT-INSET

The purpose of the research study was to find out if the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) could improve the planning, performing and evaluating process within a sequence of six gymnastics lessons, and whether this would then improve the children's technique. The research consisted of a questionnaire given to the 30 children in the class at the end of the six consecutive lessons, an interview with the class teacher prior to the implementation of ICT and again afterwards, and observations. The findings showed that ICT improved the plan, perform and evaluate stages, within gymnastics, and consequently, the children's technique improved.
