IDENTITY AND SCHOOL HISTORY: THE PERSPECTIVE OF YOUNG PEOPLE FROM THE NETHERLANDS AND ENGLAND

ABSTRACT:  The article presents the findings from a survey of over 400 young people in metropolitan areas in the Netherlands and England concerning their views on identity and school history. The research explored pupils' ideas about which facets of history were of interest to them, what history they believed should be taught in schools, and their views on the purposes of school history and history in general. The coding of the data made it possible to delineate between those from different ethnic minority backgrounds, boys and girls, age and level of education and first or second generation of migration. The study revealed significant differences between young people's ideas about history and identity, and those advanced by politicians and policy makers in the Netherlands, England and elsewhere. The concluding section of the paper considers the implications of the findings for policy makers in the field of history education in schools.

高校基层党建机制创新与载体建设的探析

论衔接理论在时政汉英翻译中的应用

从句子和篇章的层面,探讨在确保词语翻译准确的前提下,如何提高译文质量。对政府工作报告中节选内容的衔接纽带进行定量分析,应用Matlab软件将其量化,比较了两篇译文衔接的差异,直观地体现了衔接在翻译中的重要性。通过上述分析,提出在汉英时政翻译中,应采取形式最大保留、意义整体把握和衔接功能对等等策略,以确保译文的达意、连贯和流畅。衔接手段使时政汉英翻译在行文上更加符合英文规范,其应用对提高翻译实践能力具有积极的指导意义。     

Parent-child cohesion,self-esteem,and academic achievement: The longitudinal relations among elementary school students

This study addressed the longitudinal reciprocal relations among parent-child cohesion, self-esteem, and academic achievement in elementary school students. A total of 659 students from Grades 4–5 in China (M_age = 10.09 years, 46.3% female) was investigated on five occasions across 12 months. The results indicated that: (a) For the direct reciprocal relations, mother-child cohesion and academic achievement reciprocally enhanced each other; self-esteem and academic achievement transactionally facilitated each other; father-child cohesion and self-esteem reciprocally enhanced each other; self-esteem facilitated mother-child cohesion, but not vice versa. (b) For the indirect relations, father-child cohesion and students’ academic achievement facilitated each other indirectly via self-esteem; students’ academic achievement influenced mother-child cohesion indirectly via self-esteem, but not vice versa. These results delineated the dynamic system among these study variables, and also revealed that father-child cohesion and mother-child cohesion showed both similarities and differences. Implications for educational practices were discussed.     

家族关系如何影响企业创新?——对创新中不可忽视的“家族力量”的检验

家族力量的存在让家族企业具有区别于非家族的属性特征,创新是家族企业为获取和保持竞争优势所采取的重要战略行为。然而,家族系统对企业创新的影响长期没有得到应有的重视,以往研究着重考察了企业边界之内的家族力量,而对企业之外的家族力量缺少必要的关注。为了更好地理解家族系统在企业创新中发挥的作用,本文构建了包括家族凝聚力、适应力和企业创新的理论模型,根据家庭关系研究成果,探讨了家族关系对家族企业创新的影响。基于542份来自全国工商联有效调研样本的实证研究结果表明,家族凝聚力与家族企业创新具有倒U型关系,家族适应力与家族企业创新具有显著的正向关系。     

自动缫生丝与立缫生丝性能比较分析

对23 dtex(20/22D)自动缫生丝和立缫生丝的内在质量进行了专项实验和比较分析,结果表明:自动缫生丝的纤度偏差、断裂强度、抱合优于立缫丝.而均匀Ⅱ度变化、断裂伸长率、强伸度的离散性差于立缫丝.还探讨了缫丝张力对生丝拉伸性能的影响,并建立了生丝抱合与生丝结构参数间的定量关系.     

增强基层班团组织凝聚力和活力的路径研究

近年来,班级在学生成长成才中所应发挥的重要作用逐步减弱,大学生难以建立稳定的社会关系和情感依托,集体责任意识缺乏。本课题以中国农业大学工学院本科生为研究对象,通过问卷调研、案例比对、面访座谈等多种手段全面分析各项因素对班级凝聚力建设的作用,从而提出增强班团组织凝聚力建设的方法,为班团组织建设提供科学合理的有效途径。
