后现代批判视野下的报刊英语跨文化阅读

英语报刊阅读是英语学习者提高英语阅读能力、了解英美国家主要信息和文化的重要手段．在进行英语报刊跨文化阅读的过程中,学习者不可避免地会感受到中西方文化间的碰撞。在当前国际社会畅行后现代批判教育的背景下,教师需要积极调动策略,帮助学习者批判地理解中西方文化的差异,化解其感受到的语言和文化冲突。提高跨文化批判阅读理解能力。从而提升英语综合素质。     

多媒体杂志在我国的发展分析

多媒体杂志作为一种新兴的融合视频、音频等多元素的电子杂志,越来越受到各类报刊的重视,以及读者的广泛关注。回顾了多媒体杂志的发展历程并研究了它的特性和优势,同时也分析了其目前所遭遇的瓶颈,提出发展建议。     

杂志中语码转换的顺应性分析

本文以三种不同类型的杂志作为语料,对其语篇中语码转换的类型和分布频率进行统计,随后以于国栋语码转换的顺应性模式为理论指导对语码转换的成因进行分析。统计分析显示,科技类和时尚类杂志中语码转换出现次数较多,且多以句内转换为主;杂志中语码转换是作者为顺应语言现实,社会规约和心理动机而采取的交际策略。     

The photography and propaganda of the Maria Montessori method in Spain (1911–1931)

This article analyses photography as a tool for reinforcing textual discourses in the written press and supporting the popularisation of certain methods and practices in the illustrated press and magazines. The photographs will not be analysed as educational documents or testimony to educational activities but rather in an effort to explore the attempts to illustrate a message graphically so as to influence public opinion and change society’s perception of schools’ role and the functions of education. The way in which the Maria Montessori method was graphically disseminated in Spanish illustrated magazines between 1911 and 1931 is the focus of this paper.

六十年台湾财经杂志发展刍议(1949-2009)

1949-1979年台湾经济发展初期,财经杂志起步,威权统治下财经杂志积极宣导国民党当局财经政策。1980-1987年台湾经济发展飞速,财经杂志高速发展。社会多元化,财经杂志谨慎批评国民党当局。解严后的1988-1999年台湾经济继续向前,财经杂志快速发展。变革时期,财经杂志用国民党当局意识形态建构台湾历史、相对中立、增加民进党报道。2000-2009年台湾经济转入低增长,财经杂志平稳发展。蓝绿对峙下,财经杂志相对平衡地报道蓝绿阵营。     

From Odessa to Odessa: Russian-Jewish Periodicals of Ukraine, 1860–2000

SUMMARY

Jewish periodicals have been published in Ukraine, in Russian and Ukrainian, over a 140-year time span. They are systematically described here, starting with the first such journal, Razsviet (Rassvet; Odessa, 1860–61), with accompanying bibliographical analysis. The central part of the article is a table noting all 311 periodicals' characteristics, including titles, cities and dates of publication, main features, and/or subtitles. Their stages of development, regional distribution, and languages of publication are reviewed. It is noteworthy that at the end of 2000, close to 100 Jewish newspapers, magazines, almanacs, and bulletins were active in the republic. The progress of the Jewish press continues in both quantity and quality.     

美国新闻杂志的现状与发展趋势

本文通过对美国新闻类杂志的具体分析,认为美国新闻杂志总体特征和趋势为:传统新闻杂志继续倾向于软新闻报道;仅有极少数保持了硬新闻的报道风格;随着总统大选的结束,一些边缘性新闻期刊又开始远离硬新闻,而更多地关注文化报道;在整个新闻杂志世界里,娱乐性新闻的报道总量是稳中有升;传统的新闻报道模式受到了新兴刊物的挑战。     

Digital Continues Upward Ascent in the American Consumer Magazine Industry

Consumer magazine publishers gathered at the Magazine Publishers of America 24|7 5th Digital Conference in New York on March 3, 2009. With print trending downwards, attendees heard about the continuing boom of digital in the magazine industry. Discussions included how to better monetize websites, bridge the division between editorial and business, trends in new products, and strategic planning, marketing and advertising on the Internet.
