1949年之后,缘于政治因素,两岸三地通俗文学的发展,台湾方面因为商业运作的模式自由且日趋成熟,得到充分的发展《,皇冠》（1954年2月—）正是台湾通俗文艺杂志中的翘楚。它虽雅俗融混,又特意强调走向通俗大众,而商业特色更让它发展为庞大的文化集团。

高校文科校园刊物的生存状况研究——以《国是》和《击水谈》为例

从刊物的定位、阅读对象、稿件来源等三个方面比较分析了《国是》和《击水谈》两份高校文科刊物各自的特点,认为当前高校文科刊物受到网络等新媒体的介入、行政力量及＂独立编辑＂制度、消费行为的远离等三个方面的影响,为校园文科刊物发展提供了一定的参照与借鉴。     

Worlds of Literacy Worlds Apart: Reading at Home and at School

This article considers the findings of a literacy survey with Year 7 students who had experienced difficulties with reading. It highlights the range of texts and events that these students were choosing to engage with outside school and the mismatch between home and school literacy. The findings signal a need to go beyond the traditional reading test to uncover the texture of literacy experience and achievement in students' lives.     

News Selection Within Customer Magazines

Customer magazines blur the boundaries between journalistic reporting and organizational information. On the one hand, customer magazines are intended to communicate the interests, brands, products, and services of an organization. On the other hand, their topics, style, and layout resemble those of journalistic publications, from which readers expect independent and objective reporting. While customer magazines are distributed in high numbers throughout different industries and play an increasingly important role in the media landscape, they have hardly been the focus of researchers to date. It is therefore quite unclear how editorial decisions are made within these publications. This study investigated the relevance of journalistic news factors for topic selection in customer magazines and the extent to which these factors differ from those of journalistic publications. We conducted a quantitative survey of customer magazines’ editors-in-chief in Germany (N?=?143). We compared their responses on the relevance of news factors to the findings of a survey of senior journalists. The findings revealed clear differences in the use of news factors between the two groups.     

Implementation of the Faxon Union List System by the Boston Library Consortium

The Boston Library Consortium has produced a union list of serials for many years as a crucial element in its broad resource-sharing program. In 1982, the Consortium agreed to work in an advisory capacity with the Faxon Company in the development of a new union list system, and to become the first test site for the system. Features of the system such as record format, data entry procedures, and editorial review options are discussed, along with considerations of training, documentation, administration, and staffing.

Periodical Radio is a podcast interview program with the editors of journals and magazines. This article presents editors' diverse perspectives on topics including title changes, peer review, Open Access, the business of sustaining magazines, and the future of print versions of periodicals.     

近十年来我国幼儿科学教育研究进展——基于代表性学术期刊论文的计量分析

通过对学前教育领域具有代表性的四种学术期刊近十年来刊载的有关幼儿科学教育的论文进行计量分析发现,在《幼儿园教育指导纲要(试行)》颁布后,我国幼儿科学教育研究从量上看时有起伏,但总体来说发展态势良好,目前已经形成由较为稳定的核心作者群及尚未形成持续研究兴趣的边沿作者群组成的研究者队伍,且研究方法初步呈现多样化趋势,但研究主题存在分布不均衡现象。未来需加强对当前研究力量较为薄弱的课题的研究,注意理论研究与实践研究的双向沟通,进一步推进研究方法的多元化。     

浅谈异军突起的多媒体杂志

目前电子杂志有两种,一种是有平面载体的杂志,另一种是没有平面载体的.前者是传统纸质杂志的电子版,后者则是一个全新的媒体形式.大量图片、音乐、Flash动画甚至视频的穿插应用,使得电子杂志与传统杂志相比具备了更多元的表现形式,并且省去了传统杂志巨大的纸张和印刷成本.这种新型出版物就其内容而言,也具有上述纸质杂志的属性,是有固定栏目、按顺序连续出版的刊物.     

British Writings on Romania: From Travel Accounts to Studies

This article surveys a sample of sources of the information about Romania available to British readers in nineteenth century British newspapers and periodicals. It traces first contacts between the Romanian lands and Britain after the union of the principalities of Wallachia and Moldavia in 1859, then after their independence from the Ottoman Empire. The article highlights an increased Romanian interest in British periodicals, which reported and reviewed Romanian literature and scholarship. The article concludes that nineteenth century British newspapers and periodicals offer a great variety and wealth of new material previously unavailable or unknown to researchers. It also states that only a portion of a large quantity of this material has been indexed and is therefore available via the bibliographic sources mentioned in the article. The author argues for the need of a new and updated British-Romanian bibliography, which can draw on new online resources offering access to thousands of new newspapers and periodical records.
