论公文的主题词及其应用

主题词是公文的一项格式内容,它随着公文处理的现代化和信息化的需要而产生。国务院1994年6月修订并发布使用的《国务院公文主题词表》有主题词715个,为公文主题词的标注规定了统一的用词规范,它对公文的写作、阅读,标引、存储、检索等都有重要的理论和实践意义。本文从主题词、主题词表、主题词标注三个方面进行了探讨。     

学术期刊须警惕基金论文中基金项目不实标注现象

近年来,基金类学术论文中的基金项目不实标注行为频发,投稿过程中及已发表的基金论文中均有较高的不实标注发生率,已成为一种不容忽视的学术造假现象,学术期刊对此应予以高度警惕.学术期刊应加强对基金论文中基金项目的审核,在审稿流程中加入针对基金项目的审核机制,加强对基金规范标注的宣传及对不实标注行为的预防,及时阻止这一不良风气的扩散.     

特征构件疲劳裂纹扩展试验研究

由于高强度钢在疲劳断裂过程中很难产生辉纹,给裂纹扩展的研究带来一定的困难。本文在对接焊平板的疲劳断裂试验中,采用降载勾线法制造出"海滩状花纹",借此对裂纹扩展过程中裂纹前缘形状和裂纹扩展速率进行分析,并与Newman-Raju公式的计算结果进行比较。     

科技期刊论文关键词的遴选与标引

期刊文献关键词标引,对于揭示文献主题和文献信息检索有着重要的作用。为满足文献检索之需要,科技论文发表时,要在论文摘要之后,列出3~8个关键词。关键词的遴选与标引有其自身的特点与规律。只有循着特定的特点与规律,按照一定规则遴选,按照一定顺序标引的关键词才能反映和揭示文章的主题,真正实现其检索功能。     

Long Nav or Short Nav?: Student Responses to Two Different Navigational Interface Designs in LibGuides Version 2

This study used two successive phases of usability testing to evaluate two different versions of a Communication 430 course LibGuide. The first version of this guide had a longer, more visually complex navigation menu, with more course-related research information directly accessible through this menu. The second version had a shorter, less complex menu that offered less directly accessible information. Twenty-four of the 33 students enrolled in the class (73%) tested either one version or the other for usability in completing tasks that simulate course-related research assignments, ultimately indicating they found the longer navigation menu more usable. This paper may be the first to describe the engagement of students enrolled in a course in testing a LibGuide dedicated specifically to that course. As such, it will be of interest to many academic librarians and instructional design professionals.

In our state of centralised control of the curriculum and high-stakes testing an examination subject's assessment objectives have become high profile. Some of the anomalous effects of this profile are shown in the teaching, question-setting, and marking of English literature. Glimpses of earlier times are revealed, all three secondary school key stages are considered, examination performances are discussed, and the views of beginning teachers about teaching to the test are sought.     

Hacking Blackboard: Customizing Access to Library Resources Through the Blackboard Course Management System

Academic libraries have long been trying to gain access to users through their favorite online spaces, such as social networking sites. In this article a project of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's University Libraries, which integrated library resources with the campus course management system, Blackboard, is detailed. The main objective was to push the best resources to students based on their actual needs. For years, static HTML Web pages were created, but the proliferation of these pages required tremendous maintenance. In addition it is not certain that students are able to access the most relevant resources buried deep in the Web site. Because of these challenges, the Course Resources Tool and the Library Resources Portal were created to provide high levels of customization based on information that was gathered from users as they log into Blackboard. The tools have been customized so that subject specialist liaisons can integrate library resources at the major, department, course, and course section levels. Despite some difficulties in launching and promoting these projects, there has been positive feedback. There was also an increase in usage statistics that rivals the use of the library's main Web site. This article describes the tools, documents the difficulties with each phase of the project, and discusses the lessons learned. Also, a brief overview of possible expansions of the Blackboard Course Resources Tool and the Library Resources Portal is provided.     

A Virtual Reference Shelf for Nursing Students and Faculty

SUMMARY

A virtual shelf for nursing that closely mirrors what previously was found on a physical reference shelf is now a reasonable goal. Advantages of doing this for nursing students and faculty in an academic setting are enumerated. Overviews of relevant vendor and publisher interfaces and models are included. The authors present a selected list of appropriate electronic reference sources that demonstrate how e-books and Internet sites can be combined to build a virtual reference shelf in this subject area.
