Latino Portrayals in Local News Media: Underrepresentation,Negative Stereotypes,and Institutional Predictors of Coverage

Given the rise in negative rhetoric about Latinos in the U.S., it is essential to examine whether this negative tone extends to general, local news as well. An analysis of 2426 news articles drawn from 55 local newspapers in 2015 reveals several important findings. First, despite the intense spotlight on Latinos, they are still underrepresented in local news media. Relative to the other ethnic groups and whites, Latinos are more likely to be portrayed through negative stereotypes. However, the probability of this negative coverage is smaller for news media with a big proportion of Latino audiences, or for publicly-owned media outlets.

采用文献资料、田野调查、访谈法等对我国唯一海洋民族京族的民族民间体育的起源、分类、特征以及发展方向进行分析,认为京族民族民间体育可分为嬉戏娱乐、节庆习俗、比赛竞技三类,并具有亲海性、宗教性、娱乐性的特征.课题根据“四层文化理论”对京族民族民间体育进行分析与研究,科学而准确地把握其的产生、分类和发展方向,促进京族民族民间体育的发展,努力发掘京族民族民间体育文化资源,推广民族体育文化.     

Being tolerated and minority well-being: The role of group identifications

In recent decades, a norm of tolerating group differences has been promoted by laypeople and leaders as a way to manage cultural and religious diversity. But whether such a policy is beneficial for the targets’ sense of group belonging and well-being is unknown. This research investigates how being tolerated differs from being discriminated against and being accepted in its associations with affective well-being and ethnic and national identification of ethnic minorities. We test whether being tolerated is related to well-being through its association with both group identifications. With a sample of ethnic minority group members in the Netherlands (N = 518) we found that being tolerated is related to higher well-being through increased national identification, but not as strongly as being accepted. Being tolerated is different from experiencing discrimination against and being accepted, and its relations to well-being and group belonging often fall between those of discrimination and acceptance. Toleration is associated with higher well-being, but only to the extent that its targets feel included in the overarching national category.

通过动态追综对黎族大学生四年的台阶试验、立定跳远和坐位体前屈等身体素质测试指标的比较研究,揭示当代黎族大学生身体素质发展的基本现状和规律,为进一步提高黎族大学生的身体素质水平、指导和改进学校体育卫生工作提供依据。     

基于网络化的少数民族传统体育教学改革研究

少数民族传统体育是民族文化乃至中华传统文化体系中的重要瑰宝,随着国家文化强国战略的推进,作为文化载体的少数民族传统体育项目更多地被纳入到学校体育教学之中。本研究以文献研究、比较分析等方法,对现今学校体育中的少数民族体育教学进行深入研究。研究结果表明:少数民族体育教学存在着缺乏师资、教学内容定位不准等问题,并根据少数民族体育教学中出现的问题,提出了进行远程网络授课,着重于多媒体教学、搭建少数民族体育教学网络互助平台等建议,为少数民族传统体育教学改革提供一个重要理论依据。     

西北少数民族学校体育中民族传统体育的调查分析

对西北五省区少数民族地区中小学民族传统体育开展情况进行了初步调查,并对调查结果进行了分析,提出了一些建议。     

新时期城市弱势群体健身服务的政策支持研究

运用文献资料、专家访谈、逻辑分析等研究方法对新时期我国城市弱势群体健身服务的政策支持进行研究,目的在于通过研究为我国城市弱势群体健身服务为体育管理和决策部门提供理论参考。文章通过对弱势群体体育健身权利的阐述,深入分析了新时期我国城市弱势群体健身服务的现状及存在的问题,在此基础上提出了新时期我国城市弱势群体健身服务政策支持的有效途径。     

隐性利益与体育利益格局演化分析框架(下)——当代中国体育利益格局演化的简要分析

本文基于所构建的体育利益格局演化分析框架,探讨当代中国体育发展过程中体育利益演化的热点领域,分析了体制变迁对体育情景的影响,以及不同体育利益群体的演化及其委托代理问题。研究表明:制度变迁引发的体育情景的改变是重要的外在因素;体育利益格局演化中的委托代理问题的实质,是利益群体中存在委托代理问题,强化对代理人行为规制是解决问题的关键。就如何引导体育利益格局向符合绝大多数人利益的正确方向演化,提出了建议。     

广西少数民族传统体育运动会发展历程回顾与发展策略的研究

采用文献资料法、实地考察法等方法通过对广西历届少数民族体育运动会的调查与回顾,来对比分析其赛事规模、赛制等方面内容,以了解、掌握其发展现状,找出其发展规律,并以其为基点结合博弈理论探讨广西少数民族传统体育运动会与民族传统体育发展的新思路。     

瑶族长鼓舞在当代乡土生活中的社会价值探析

文章采用文献资料、比较分析、归纳以及实地考察等研究方法对瑶族长鼓舞的历史源流及分类进行分析。研究认为,在当代乡土社会生活中,瑶族长鼓舞以其特有的功能与价值发挥着不可替代的、独特的作用。
