大学教师“荒”还是学生“慌” ——从大学现身“替课族”谈起

“替课”的前世就是逃课,由于大多高校将学生课堂出勤率与其学期成绩挂钩,有意逃课 的学生便找人“替课”。自此,逃课升级为“替课”。“替课”是学校、学生、“商家”等合力催生与滋养的c “它”不仅浪费了教育资源,而且让圣洁的大学染上了铜臭味,更为要命的是诚信这一应有的道德品 质与学生渐行渐远。如何有效治理“替课”现象,大学应该采取前治后理的策略。比如,前期采取严加 管理与相关技术手段“先遏制“替课”现象蔓延“然后再进行系统的全面的研究与改进。     

多语言信息获取中用户相关反馈实验与评价

要实现网络信息或数字图书馆信息的有效多语言获取,需充分考虑用户交互.通过用户实验,检验用户相关反馈机制在多语言信息获取中的作用,并分析用户行为特点.实验结果证明,查询扩展、翻译优化以及两者的结合均是有效的用户相关反馈方法.     

Piloting autism intervention research with teachers in mainstream classrooms

Although there is a recognised need for effective practices to support students on the autism spectrum in mainstream schools, there is a research to practice gap in the area of autism and education, whereby evidence-based intervention may take decades to translate into mainstream classroom practice. Thus, current recommendations are that, rather than presenting mainstream school teachers with interventions developed and tested in clinical or special education settings, a participatory research process should be used to facilitate implementation in real-world mainstream classrooms. This article reports on a case study that aimed to refine a structured teaching intervention package for use in mainstream classrooms, while at the same time tailoring research methods for evaluating the package in these settings. The outcomes of the project are presented with respect to (a) the development and refinement of the intervention package in consultation with a mainstream classroom teacher and (b) the lessons learned during the process that other clinical researchers, teachers, and clinicians could apply when implementing educational interventions in mainstream settings.     

‘Whoops,I forgot David’: children's perceptions of the adults who work in their classrooms

This article reports on the findings of a small‐scale study into the perceptions of 78 primary school children regarding the adults in their classrooms. The data show that children easily differentiate between their own class teacher and other adults, but report a substantial overlap between the activities of teachers and teaching assistants. Some express the difference in terms of status rather than role. Accounts call into question the notion that teaching assistants ‘help’ rather than teach and that there is a clear division of labour between them and teachers. Teachers and assistants are seen as working in an interdependent way, with each making a significant contribution to children's learning. The difficulties of using children's language as evidence are considered and it is concluded that the notion of a ‘remodelled’ primary school workforce needs to take into account the ways in which teachers and assistants maintain fluid working relationships.     

一个随班就读学生的个案调查

利用质的研究方法,研究了—位随班就读学生在普通学校的学习情况。结果发现,学校和部分教师对此学生的态度不够积极,对他的教育教学缺乏针对性。研究结果启示我们要加强对随班就读学生的个别化教学,以满足他们的特殊教育需要。     

少数民族地区中小学远程教育多语平行资源库的构建

少数民族地区基础教育师资力量较为薄弱,建立基于远程教育环境下的多语平行资源库,对于帮助少数民族教师不断提高自己的专业水平和汉语水平具有现实意义。文中探讨了构建多语平行资源库的必要性、可行性及构建的基本思路,分析了面临的主要问题,提出了解决方法,指出利用农村中小学远程教育工程传递多语教学资源,是提高少数民族地区农村中小学现代远程教育工程应用效益的一条途径。     

Selecting or Upgrading Software and Web Sites in the Classroom

Three issues are important considerations when selecting or updating software and/or web sites for children’s use in classrooms or computers labs. The first issue is computer integration: products need to mesh with the goals or standards identified by the school, district or state. Second, violence should be avoided, especially if children initiate and control the violence. Third, the developmental appropriateness of programs is an essential consideration. The outstanding software and web sites for 2004 are reviewed and illustrated with screen captions.
