黔东南少数民族大学生英语学习策略调查分析

以黔东南少数民族学生英语专业本科学生89人，专科199人和非英语专业本科学生270人，专科542人为对象，并以223人汉族大学生作为对比分析。对他们之间的英语学习策略的差异度相关性进行了实证性研究。结果表明：本、专科英语专业与非英语专业学生总策略和元认知、认知、记忆、社会、情感和补偿6种策略的使用频率存在显著性差异（P均〈0．001）。但英语专业与非专业学生学习策略的性别比较和少教民族与汉族学生学习策略比较均无差异（P均〉0．05）。为了解少教民族大学生学习策略研究和针对性学习策略训练提供有益的建设性建议。     

论音体关特殊专业大学英语教与学

目前国内大学英语教学研究集中在对普通专业学生英语学习的研究上，很少关注音体美特殊专业大学英语的教与学研究，对此亟待加强。在教学实践过程中。调整教学内容、改变教学方法、考试方式、营造良好的学习氛围。将专业知识、大学英语、专业英语相互渗透、融合，结合特殊专业的专业特色开展英语课外活动等，以此可以更好地把握特殊专业大学英语教学规律，从而提高特殊专业大学英语教学质量。     

我国高校本科生转专业动因调查研究

针对本科生转专业进行调查研究，分析其原因，提出三点建议。     

Changes in Primary Teachers' Science Knowledge and Understanding During a Two Year In-service Programme

A test to assess teachers' science knowledge and understanding was developed to monitor change over two years of a primary science in-service programme in 31 schools. Two cohorts took a six-month core course on 'Developing and Assessing Investigations'. The 70 teachers' science understanding was measured by multi-choice and open-ended questions on electricity; melting, dissolving and evaporation; forces; and investigations. Three sub-scales were developed that provide good discrimination. Despite the moves to improve primary teachers' subject knowledge, many still have the typical misconceptions that have been identified in the past. Teachers also had a poor understanding of variables and their control. The analysis of the results has enabled a pattern of development to be identified. While the in-service programme enabled the majority of teachers to progress through these stages, this progress did not always take the teachers to the scientific stage. It was clear that teachers need a thorough understanding of interrelated concepts beyond the requirements of the children's National Curriculum, as without it they may develop misconceptions that might interfere with children's understanding. This indicates that in-service education needs to be sustained over a considerable length of time.     

Development and Validation of the Star Properties Concept Inventory

Concept inventories (CIs)—typically multiple-choice instruments that focus on a single or small subset of closely related topics—have been used in science education for more than a decade. This paper describes the development and validation of a new CI for astronomy, the Star Properties Concept Inventory (SPCI). Questions cover the areas of stellar properties (focussing primarily on mass, temperature, luminosity, and lifetime), nuclear fusion, and star formation. Distracters were developed from known alternative conceptions and reasoning difficulties commonly held by students. The SPCI was tested through an iterative process where different testing formats (open-ended, multiple-choice?+?explain, and multiple-choice) were compared to ensure that the distracters were in fact the most common among the testing population. Content validity was established through expert reviews by 26 astronomy instructors. The SPCI Version 3 was then tested in multiple introductory undergraduate astronomy courses for non-science majors. Post-test scores (out of 23 possible) were significantly greater (M?=?11.8, SD?=?3.87) than the pre-test scores (M?=?7.09, SD?=?2.73). The low post-test score—only 51.3%—could indicate a need for changing instructional strategies on the topics of stars and star formation.

4P教学模式,即项目（Project）,课堂展示（Presentation）,同伴评价（Peer—evaluation）和学习档案夹（Porffolio）。在对鲁东大学2010级和2009级为期两年的实验教学后,发现4P教学模式与外语专业基础阶段学生情感态度的转变和综合能力的提高有很大关联性。     

英语专业学生语音学习问题及对策研究

英语语音的学习对于英语专业学生来讲极其重要,然而学生在经过语音课学习之后,语音改善仍不理想。针对这个现状,采用问卷调查及访谈的方式,对英语专业学生语音学习中存在的问题进行分析,并提出相关对策：加强英语语音基本知识的系统讲授;加强对比教学;加强教学的针对性;加强教学活动的多样化;结合其他英语专业课程进行语音训练。
