做好馆内布局营造育人氛围

高校图书馆是学校的文献信息中心,在高校教育教学中起着重要的作用。做好馆内布局,营造良好的环境氛围,对图书馆作用的发挥有着重要的影响。文章针对当前我国高校新建设的图书馆,就如何做好馆内布局,从三个方面进行了阐述。     

论培养学生的英国文学意识

The popular analytic way of English literature teaching characterized by detailed studying of a particular passage and specific practicing of individual items neglects the overall treatment of the material more or less.This paper makes a tentative exploration of the ways of extending the studednt‘s understanding to wider social and cultural associtions of the whole Western world and literary works in general,thus sharpening the student‘s literary sensbility and increasing their flexbility and creativity.Promoting free interactive reading is discussed first,including literary or non-literary materials any way the students like,communicating what they think to other studednts and setting compulsory requirements of the amount of reading.Another problem under discussion is how to read a work in both literary and non-literary ways,through which the students could compare the literariness of that they read,form a bigger framework of understanding and become more independent in reading.Problems discussed are also such concerning how to make full use of the collective beliefs,shared feelings and significant ideas of the society to help the students derive diverse interpretations of a work and become more creative in literary reading.

人与物具有原始的同一关系，但在现代技术本质的框架下，人与物自身被遮蔽，人与物的原始同一关系也被撕裂。这种撕裂导致的后果是人与物之间走向对立，随之带来的是严重的生态危机。为避免这种危机，我们重呼人与物的和谐相处，我们昭喻着人诗意的栖居。     

一个培养复合型人才的个案分析——华中科技大学英语-通信双学位培养模式研究

对华中科技大学英语-通信双学位专业2001级60多名学生的学习、就业等状况的调查研究表明,尽管在课程设置等方面还存在着有待改进的地方,但该培养模式是基本成功的,学生具有较高的专业素养和人文素质,在社会上的竞争力较强,颇受用人单位的欢迎。     

论人本管理的意蕴

文章主要从管理的概念、管理的本质出发，着重阐释人本管理的实质是以人为根本的管理。人本管理的理论基础是对人的科学认识，最后归结到人本管理的核心内容是自我管理。强调自我管理是一个复杂的过程，这个过程的完成需要组织的授权、管理个体的自我认识、自我完善和自我实现。     

双语教学中的汉语教学管见

汉语教学的主要目的是培养学生运用汉语进行交际的能力。因此,汉语教学要从注重知识转向注重能力的培养。开展以学生为主体,教师为主导的双边活动,在课堂教学中:一把培养学生口语表达能力放在首位;二把交际式的学习方式运用于词汇教学中,给学生提供语言实践的机会,确立交际化的教学模式。     

Science Teachers’ Perceived Benefits of an Out‐of‐school Enrichment Programme: Identity needs and university affordances

Science enrichment programmes housed outside traditional school settings offer unique opportunities to access and use authentic scientific tools and practices, especially for urban students whose school science experiences often lack resources. Yet opportunities to access these tools and practices are realized only when science teachers value them sufficiently to take advantage of them. This study examines how eight urban secondary science teachers evaluated a specific out‐of‐school science enrichment programme—a one‐year partnership with a local university science outreach centre, which culminated in a half‐day laboratory experience for their students. Teachers’ perceptions were captured through interviews and surveys. Findings indicate that these teachers came to identify and value many of the potential benefits for out‐of‐school enrichment programmes reported in the literature as well as some additional ones. The teachers’ also showed a shift over time with respect to their perceptions of the value of the out‐of‐school experience, moving from an initial focus on increasing test scores toward a greater appreciation for its impact on students’ motivation and identity development. The study offers insight into secondary science students’ and teachers’ identity needs, and what universities can offer to address them.     

A Need for Improved Teacher-Training A Necessity for Future Academic Preparation and Employment

This article considers how to bridge the achievement gap by showing that reading methodology influenced American educational philosophy, primary-grade curricula, and American schools. It considers the impact of the romantic movement on progressive education and notes that the current academic achievement gap has two roots. The first can be traced, in part, to the nonacademic excesses of progressivism in the early grades; the second to patterns of social disorganization. The article argues that schools can deal with each problem by returning to a more academic curriculum and by providing a more nurturing environment for students.     

英语专业应用型人才的人文精神培养

随着科学技术的迅速发展,现代教育一度忽视人文教育,而强调教育的实用性。英语专业的人才培养也加大了应用型的课程,比如大部分高校都以英语+专业知识的培养方案为主导。教育具有生产性的功能,这是众所公认的现代教育的特征,然而,在这样的培养模式上,人文知识传承弱化,很多人文课程不断被挤压课时,如何避免英语专业学生的"文化"缺失现象,培养学生的思辨能力,以及如何平衡人文教育与应用型人才的教育是我们值得思考的问题。     

论信息时代高校英语教师的信息素养

加强教师的信息素养是信息时代提升教育信息化水平的关键。现代教育技术条件下 ,高校外语教师的信息素养主要包括信息知识、信息能力和信息意识三方面的内容 ,而教师在这三方面的素养则可以通过改善教育技术条件、加强培训和教学实践等途径来进行培养
