培养中小学生“孝与自立”的实验研究

通过培养中小学生“孝与自立”的实验研究，探索出中小学校帮助家长建设良好亲子关系的教育模式，即“学校指导帮助下，以家长为主导，寓于实践活动中的亲子双主体互动”模式，取得良好效果。     

浅析胡适文人气质与政治人格的冲突

胡适作为中国现代史上影响较大的人物之一，在中国文化进程中，起着不容低估的作用。从“五四”时期倡导白话文运动直至临终，他始终坚持着文化上的改良主义，政治上的自由主义和哲学上的实验主义。胡适中西舍璧的文人气质影响了“五四”后一代青年，被大批文人拥为精神界导师。他关心国家、社会的命运以及前途而激发的强烈责任感和使命感，又凸显了其鲜明的政治人格。本文在分析胡适思想的基础上，重点探讨其内在冲突。     

The transformation of school knowledge in the late Ottoman Empire: conflicting histories

As a result of developments in public education in the nineteenth-century Ottoman state, pedagogic professionalism began to direct school studies by setting scientific discourse against conventional epistemology. However, the strong conviction that the late Ottoman Empire was secularised progressively over years leads to the neglect of the tensions and conflicts in active authorship, and nullifies the role of textbooks as battlefields for ideologies. This article examines the tensions and resistances to modern knowledge that were deemed to be transferred in a smooth transition from the old to the new epistemology, in the history of education literature. The article discusses the discursive views in the general history textbooks. The contrasting conceptions of history, the first man, civilisations and tribal societies demonstrate the failure to form standard school knowledge in the Second Constitutional Period.

广播电视领域偷拍(录)采访手法的使用为媒体实施舆论监督拓宽了渠道,但偷拍的掩饰性、被动性等特征与新闻自由的主动性、揭示性、公开性特征不可避免地发生冲突。但两者并不矛盾,记者在行使新闻自由权时必须把握两者的平衡:一是寻找公众知情权和隐私权之间的平衡点,二是记者的行为要对社会负责。     

Cross-border transitions: navigating conflict and political change through community education practices in Myanmar and the Thai border

ABSTRACT

Political oscillations in Myanmar and Thailand, between militarisation and democratic reform, have prompted a rapid renegotiation of the alignments, goals and priorities of non-state education providers, both international and community-based, along the two countries’ border. This paper explores the responses to shifts in political environment which have affected community education practices, particularly for those whose interrupted education trajectories have further added to their social subordination, within Myanmar and amongst the refugee and migrant communities along the Thai border. Beginning with an outline of the nomadic space that these communities inhabit, I then explore the ways in which community education is influenced by and responding to changing cross-border movements and political shifts.     

Individual Assimilation Status and Intergenerational Gaps in Hispanic Refugee Families

This study assessed relationships between Hispanic refugee parents' and adolescents' assimilation status and their perceived and actual experiences of intergenerational differences in views of acceptable and unacceptable adolescent behaviours. Fifty parent-adolescent dyads from Central and South America rated the acceptability of 24 prototypical culture shedding behaviours from their own perspective as well as from the perceived perspective of the other family member. The individual assimilation status of both parents and adolescents was related to the actual degree of intergenerational gaps in the family, but not to perceived gaps, attesting to a lack of awareness of the role of individual level cultural changes in family dynamics. This blind spot may underlie the tendency of parents to attribute assimilative adolescent behaviours to disobedience and of adolescents to attribute parental reactions to misuses of parental authority. Implications for counselling are discussed.

Developing agency through peacebuilding in the midst of intractable conflict: The case of Israel and Palestine

This paper discusses the presence of ‘peacebuilding islands’ within civil society as potential agents of transformation in the midst of intractable conflict. Focusing on the particular case of the Israeli‐Palestinian conflict, the argument stems from a deconstruction of the legacy of national myopia perpetuated through social and political institutions and the capacity of individuals to impact them. Inspired by feminist organisations and the personal experience of feminist peace activists in Israel and Palestine, the author discusses the intersection of a variety of peacebuilding and educational initiatives as paramount to the building of a culture of peace in the region. The study embraces strategies that challenge the structural, socio‐cultural and inter‐personal status quo as part of a multi‐layered effort at transforming conflict in the Middle East.
