陶行知平民教育思想与当今乡镇社区教育

陶行知的平民教育思想在中国 2 0世纪上半叶影响广泛 ,他的“社会即学校”、教育与生活实际相结合、利用的社区一切可利用的资源为教育服务、“乡村学校应当做改造乡村生活的中心”的思想对当今开展乡镇社区教育仍具有参考价值     

Student Perceptions of Chemistry Laboratory Learning Environments, Student–Teacher Interactions and Attitudes in Secondary School Gifted Education Classes in Singapore

This study investigated the chemistry laboratory classroom environment, teacher–student interactions and student attitudes towards chemistry among 497 gifted and non-gifted secondary-school students in Singapore. The data were collected using the 35-item Chemistry Laboratory Environment Inventory (CLEI), the 48-item Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction (QTI) and the 30-item Questionnaire on Chemistry-Related Attitudes (QOCRA). Results supported the validity and reliability of the CLEI and QTI for this sample. Stream (gifted versus non-gifted) and gender differences were found in actual and preferred chemistry laboratory classroom environments and teacher–student interactions. Some statistically significant associations of modest magnitude were found between students' attitudes towards chemistry and both the laboratory classroom environment and the interpersonal behaviour of chemistry teachers. Suggestions for improving chemistry laboratory classroom environments and the teacher–student interactions for gifted students are provided.     

Envisioning Possibility: Schooling and Student Agency in Children’s and Young Adult Literature

This article provides a rationale for using literature in the classroom to explore conceptions of curriculum and teaching. We discuss a number of exemplars from children’s and young adult fiction, both mainstream and less well known; offer a taxonomy for categorizing the range of visions of curriculum and teaching in the literature; and describe the responses of a group of middle school students to a unit that examined schooling in literature. We argue that reading literature which addresses student experiences in school can help students make sense of those experiences and, more importantly, open their minds to ideas about teaching and schooling that they otherwise might never have considered.John Kornfeld is Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the School of Education at Sonoma State University. 荧光标记法检测活细胞内游离钙离子浓度的改进

改进了活细胞内游离钙离子浓度的测定方法，即用惰性基体纳米微球包埋荧光染料，将荧光纳米微球转运进细胞，用于细胞内游离钙离子浓度的实时测定。该方法与传统方法相比，染料不易泄漏，不会出现分室现象，不易光漂白，是一种非常有实用价值的测量活细胞内游离钙离子浓度的方法。     

实物期权法在创业投资项目价值评估中的应用

从创业投资的特点出发,本文利用AFH模型分析创业投资项目中隐含的实物期权,并运用B—S公式计算一个项目的实物期权价值,从而指出传统NPV方法在项目估价方面存在的不足,实物期权法则较为充分地考虑了不确定性和管理柔性。

La掺杂Co-Fe-O纳米磁性材料的制备和表征

以Fe(NO3)3·9H2O,Co(NO3)2·6H2O和La2O3为原料,首先制备出晶粒细小的盐渍化碱式碳酸盐前驱体,在400℃、500℃、600℃、700℃、800℃分别烧结1h,制备出CoFe2O4和LaCo0.4Fe0.6O3纳米磁性材料,并用XRD、SEM和IR对样品进行表征,研究了不同的烧结温度和La掺杂对物相的形成及颗粒大小的影响.

The Myths of E-Government: Looking Beyond the Assumptions of a New and Better Government

In general, rhetoric and myth play important roles in policymaking. Myths may inspire collective action but may also mystify and blur views on reality. In this article we identify, analyze, and reflect on the myths underlying the e-government programs of Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Denmark, and the Netherlands. We found that in all national policies myths of technological inevitability, a new and better government, rational information planning, and empowerment of the intelligent citizen can be discerned. Although the mobilizing powers of these myths are acknowledged, we conclude that existing empirical studies have generated little support for the inescapable telos of these myths, which makes canvas cleaning effects of e-government initiatives less likely.
