高职教育改革与高职院校学报转型

随着职业教育改革的不断深入,高职院校学报必须实现其职能转型,以适应高职教育发展的需要。主要包括围绕教育目的顶层设计的由服务学校向服务职业教育转型,围绕人才培养的由服务科研向服务专业教学转型,围绕校企合作的由服务教师个体向服务行业组织转型。     

国际贸易实务专业“三阶段,三融合”人才培养模式的探索与实践——以南通纺织职业技术学院为例

在国际贸易专业人才市场需求调研的基础上,探索了国际贸易实务专业"三阶段,三融合"人才培养模式,并通过"平台+方向"双基课程体系构建、实践教学体系构建、校企合作共建实训基地、教学内容及教学方法改革、师资队伍建设等措施来践行国际贸易实务专业人才培养方案。     

从个人理财规划视角看金融、保险专业人才培养的新方向

随着中国居民财产的快速增长,金融行业急需个人理财规划的专业人才,这为中国高等院校金融、保险专业的人才培养提出了新方向。从国外来看,个人理财行业的发展规范成熟,相关的高等教育也系统有序。而中国个人理财规划是一个新兴领域,在高等教育方面才刚起步。为此,应积极构建金融、保险专业个人理财规划的培养体系,增设个人理财课程模块,强化实践教学环节,加强与实际部门合作,培养多层次的专业人才,以顺应社会的需求趋势。     

应用型院校通信工程专业校企合作研究与实践

校企合作是培养适应社会需要的高素质应用型人才的有效手段。本文首先分析了目前工程类专业校企合作的现状和存在的主要问题,总结了校企合作的主要模式,最后重点介绍了皖西学院通信工程专业校企深层合作新模式和实践。这种合作增强了学生动手实践能力和适应就业岗位能力,为地方应用型高校工科教育人才培养模式改革起借鉴和示范作用。

麦可思调查数据显示目前园林技术专业学生普遍存在实践动手能力较差的状况,进行园林技术专业人才培养模式改革,使学生经过三年学习、实践,完成"实践——理论——实践"的认知循环,把班杜拉认知理论体系中三元交互决定论的环境、行为和人的主体因素三要素做到了完美的结合,并进行实践教学内容、教学方法、考核方法等的改革探索,使学生更好地掌握专业知识和掌握专业技能,以能力为本位培养学生的方法能力、专业能力和社会能力,从而真正提高人才培养质量。     

多维理论视角下的在职人员继续教育

正确理解和准确把握在职人员继续教育的理论依据,是有效构建继续教育模式的前提条件。终身教育理论、经济学理论、心理学理论、人才结构理论和人力资本经济效益理论,分别对在职人员继续教育目标、专业结构、教学原则、课程体系和办学效益方面产生影响,并提出相关规定性。     

Access Services Librarians: A Content Analysis of Job Advertisements, 1977–2004

ABSTRACT

As early as 1977, academic libraries began posting position announcements for access services librarians. During the twenty-seven year period from 1977 to 2004, a total of 217 advertisements that included the phrase “access services” appeared in College & Research Libraries News. Using content analysis, these advertisements are examined to identify both general and unique characteristics in access services positions, while also looking for changes over time as well as possible future trends.     

Interviewing Under the ADA-

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) is changing the way Americans do business. This is most apparent in the recruitment process. Because the ADA outlines prohibited practices for most employers, librarians filling positions need to know what these are. This article reviews such practices and offers helpful tips and background information for conducting a successful and legal interview.     

Staff Development:

Staff members are valuable resources in a library; they also represent the single largest investment. As such, it is imperative that administrators not waste that investment by failing to provide training and development opportunities. This paper demonstrates that a broadened concept in staff development is important and possible. It also describes the steps one library took in establishing a staff development plan, the membership of the committee that developed the programs, types of programs provided, what worked and what didn't work, and how, with modest expenditures, a successful investment can grow and provide benefits for everyone.     

Paraprofessionals at the Reference Desk

Abstract

In this article Ms. Pedzich examines a growing model of research service the use of paraprofessionals at the reference desk. She identifies the skills needed of the paraprofessinal, the designing of a training program and developing policies, procedures and manuals to assist in a successful paraprofessional program.
