写真投影法是指利用写真将研究对象的意图导出的方法。写真投影法衍生于视觉人类学,其本质特征是一种建立在投射技术和视觉研究基础之上的质性研究方法。写真投影法的程序设计有研究者摄影、参与者摄影两种形式,其突出优势是在研究中能引出参与者内隐的观念,促进参与者进行反思性学习,同时促进研究者和参与者在研究项目中的合作。回顾写真投影法的产生、发展,分析其应用,对推动我国教师观念研究具有重要意义。  相似文献

西方旅游意象研究经历了从理论构建到实践运用研究的转变,其质性研究成果多采用文字性的文本作为分析材料对具体旅游目的地进行意象解读.通过引入VEP内容分析方法采集照片形式的视觉数据,将福州白云洞旅游意象分为休闲活动、人际社交、设施服务、景观4大意象主题维度,分别由下而上的提炼出16个主题次维度和归属其下的意象概念并加以情景意义的解读.这些旅游意象分析为福州市旅游规划管理部门深入开发市民鼓岭近郊休闲健身项目提供针对性的定位依据.  相似文献

The adoption and use of visual technologies as decision aids in professional sport is increasing at a rapid rate, yet the study of such practice is virtually non-existent. Beyond the specific play or call in question, images used as decision aids in sport have immediate and far-reaching material and cultural impacts including athlete sponsorship packages, the professional reputation and expertise of athletes and officials, and lucrative contracts for imaging and technology companies. This paper borrows Lorraine Daston and Peter Galison's work on objectivity to examine one such case: the dead heat between Jeneba Tarmoh and Allyson Felix at the 2012 US Olympic Trials. The Tarmoh/Felix dead heat involved a complex assemblage of human and machine vision, and contains within it many of the issues involved in the use of sports decision aids. The paper argues that analyses of images used as decision aids in sport have much to offer academic and non-academic audiences interested in sport and visual culture.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

As more and more science teachers in the United States are now expected to implement STEM education in their classrooms, it is important to understand how teachers conceptualise STEM education. This information can then be used to provide teachers with meaningful support as they move towards implementation of STEM education. Understanding that not all representations of STEM are equal, this mixed-methods study used a phenomenographic lens to examine science teachers’ perceptions of eight different models of STEM education through photo elicitation interviews. Part of this was done though an activity in which teachers ranked different models of STEM education by arranging them in a continuum. Findings reveal that teachers are most drawn to models of STEM education that show STEM beyond school settings and that include clear intersections between the disciplines represented in the acronym. This study sheds light on the importance of creating a shared conception of STEM education in order to have productive conversations across various stakeholders within the STEM education community.  相似文献

Visual methods are often marginalised in educational research and have not been employed to collect information about sexuality at school. This paper examines the viability and effectiveness of conducting research about the ‘sexual cultures’ of schools in New Zealand using photo‐diaries and photo‐elicitation. ‘Effectiveness’ is judged by what the visual methodologies literature purports are the benefits of these methods. These advantages include providing participants with greater autonomy over what and how data is collected. The paper argues it is feasible to employ visual methods to research sexuality in schools. Such methods offer participants alternative means of recounting their stories, can help illuminate an esoteric object of investigation like ‘sexual cultures’ and engage participants less likely to volunteer for sexuality research. The use of visual methods is not without challenges however. Securing ethics approval and school participation along with problems with camera retrieval and protecting participant agency were some difficulties encountered in the current study. For those wishing to pursue less conventional research methodologies in educational settings, this discussion highlights potential benefits and struggles.  相似文献
