Dyadic perspectives on advice between friends: Relational influence,advice quality,and conversation satisfaction

Theory on advice currently gives insufficient attention to relational context, the interaction, and the advisor’s perspective. We conceptualize advice interactions as dyadic processes within relationships, and examine how relationship assessments influence perceptions of advice and the interaction. Friends reported on their relationships (152 dyads, N?=?304), had conversations that included advice, and then rated advice quality and conversational satisfaction. An actor–partner interdependence model supported a “mutual influence model:” both advisors and recipients were influenced by their own and their partners’ assessments. For advisors and recipients, higher ratings of partners’ past support increased their own advice quality ratings and conversation satisfaction, and higher advice quality increased conversation satisfaction. Relationship reports from the partner’s perspective impacted individuals’ outcomes in unexpected ways.

文章主要依据新出版的(毛泽东文艺论集),对关于毛泽东文艺思想的两个有争议的重要观点提出了新的认识。(1)关于毛泽东的文艺批评观。文章阐明政治和艺术的统一,内容和形式的统一,对思想性和艺术性的同等重视,是毛泽东品评作品的一贯要求,是作为科学体系的毛泽东文艺思想的批评观和批评标准,而“政治标准”“第一”、“艺术标准”“第二”是毛泽东文艺论述中的“个别词句”,可以把它与作为科学体系的毛泽东文艺思想区别开来。(2)关于毛泽东的文学与经济、政治关系观。文章阐明政治“决定”文艺是毛泽东文艺论述中的不确切表述,而在总体上毛泽东是继承、坚持了马克思主义关于文学与经济、政治关系的唯物史观的。

几种先天性畸形胎儿结肠的解剖及组织学观察

目的:研究先天性畸形胎儿结肠的解剖及组织学结构,探讨几种畸形与结肠发育之间的关系. 方法:应用形态学方法,对先天性畸形胎儿结肠进行解剖、观察,并制成组织切片,在光学显微镜下观察其组织学结构. 结果:三类10例先天性畸形胎儿中,并缺指畸形胎儿结肠的形态学及组织学结构无明显异常;胸腹联体胎儿结肠结构异常;无脑儿结肠组织结构发育不全.结论:不同先天性畸形胎儿对结肠发育影响各异.     

All in the Family: Connecting Home and School with Family Literacy

Family literacy has come of age during the past quarter of a century. This article provides a brief review of family literacy history and components. Pedagogical implications for teachers of primary grade students are considered, and suggestions given for increasing home–school literacy involvement through the following types of initiatives: sharing information, increasing access to materials, and implementing strategies that invite family involvement.     

Peer relationships of students with intellectual disabilities in special needs classrooms – a systematic review

Students with intellectual disabilities (ID) often experience difficulties in their peer relationships at school. Although a broad knowledge base on peer relationships in inclusive classrooms exists, much less is known about peer relationships in special needs classrooms. We conducted a systematic review of the literature on peer relationships in special needs classrooms for students with ID. Studies that provided information on social status, social interactions, friendships, or the classroom networks of students with ID in special needs classrooms were included. Findings from 36 studies suggest that students with ID in special needs classrooms develop and maintain differentiated peer relationships. The characteristics of these peer relationships vary depending on student (e.g., cognitive skills) and classroom factors (e.g., type of special needs classroom). Results are discussed in terms of their relevance for supporting peer relationships between students with ID. Future directions for studying peer relationships in special needs classrooms are proposed.

An attributional analysis of students' interactions: The social consequences of perceived responsibility

Recent research on why some children are disliked by their classmates, why students do or do not help one another, and how children manage to get along with teachers and classmates is reviewed in this article. A motivational approach focusing on attribution theory is used to examine these questions. Inferences of responsibility and feelings of anger and sympathy are documented to impact students' negative social responses (rejection and neglect) as well as their willingness to help their classmates. Students' understanding of the responsibility-emotion-behavior links is proposed to influence their self-presentation strategies, such as excuse giving and seeking social approval.
