人才项目与当代中国学术精英的塑造

通过对中国科学院院士、"国家杰出青年科学基金"以及四类国家级青年人才项目入选者的描述性统计分析,本文发现人才项目已成为我国学界特别是理工科领域塑造学术精英的重要制度。学术精英的成长呈现出"人才项目依托"与"人才项目嵌套"的特点,不同层次人才项目的重叠嵌套,形成了学术精英生成的结构性路径,"不入选则出局"成为塑造学术精英的法则。与单位制时代相比,人才项目在塑造学术精英的过程中延续了"制度化的精英主义",其及早筛选与重点培养优秀学者的特征并未褪去。人才项目也被纳入院系学术队伍的建设之中。与此同时,人才项目强化了学术精英生成中的学术竞争,对学术精英的德行与才能的要求也发生了相应的变化。人才项目广泛扩散并应用于高校人事聘任制度改革,带来了一系列的非意图后果。

Digital humanities and the emerging framework for digital curation

ABSTRACT

Digital humanities (DH) represents an emerging framework for digital curation. This study focuses on the evolving relationship of the DH (including history) to digital curation and archives and describes the models of collaboration in the digital environment. A conceptual framework is presented, followed by discussions of scarcity and abundance, archival frameworks, models of collaboration, and a review of selected DH projects. Despite the semantic disagreements over the term archives, researchers and curators should consider each other's perspectives for continued collaboration.

Making Room for a Learning Commons Space: Lessons in Weeding a Reference Collection Through Collaboration and Planning

This article describes the process designed to systematically weed two community college library reference collections in preparation for potential funding of a learning commons space. The author explains the methodology used to help facilitate the reassessment of nearly 10,000 reference titles by librarian liaisons. The goal of the project was to consistently capture each title’s weeding status designation along with required bibliographic data while stopping short of executing the weeding itself. Details about the process and consequences of the resulting category breakdowns are described in detail. The article lists key success factors such as working with teams from different departments to help manage the day-to-day procedures. Practical suggestions are offered about the use of collaborative tools, about methods for transmitting support data to liaison librarians to enable quick decisions, about goal setting, and about establishing consistent means of data collection.

“全国教育科学规划课题”中学前教育课题研究的状况与分析

本研究采用内容分析法,对我国“七五”到“十一五”期间“全国教育科学规划课题”中的学前教育规划课题进行了分析,结果表明：在此期间,“全国教育科学规划课题”中共设立了114项学前教育课题,其绝对数量与相对数量都在逐年增加;研究课题的主要承担者是高等院校,并主要分布在沿海城市等发达地区或是具有重视学前教育传统的地区;研究涉及范围较广,但主要集中在五大领域、儿童与课程三类研究选题上;呈现出特色课题不断涌现、研究选题凸显时代背景、研究内容由宏观向具体易操作方向发展等特点。     

西部干旱区重大生态环境问题研究进展

在全球变化、区域气候不稳定和人为干扰等因素的共同作用下，中国西部干旱区众多的环境科学和生态学理论问题都具有全球性典型意义。通过系统和深入研究，重新认识了土地荒漠化机理、绿洲环境演变以及重大工程的生态建设原理等科学问题，试验示范获得了一系列环境整治和工程灾害防护的关键技术。     

Using Cloud-Based Software to Build an Interlibrary Loan Survey Databank

As an assignment for the Reference and User Services Association and as part of the American Library Association Emerging Leaders Program, the authors created a databank to house the results of a large-scale interlibrary loan staffing survey. After examining the pros and cons of several software solutions, the authors decided to use a Web-based database product, Dabble DB. The paper discusses the scope, outcomes, and value of the Reference and User Services Association interlibrary loan survey, the development of the authors’ project plan, and recommendations for the use of cloud-based database products in library operations.
