浅议儒教在朝鲜的传播

毗邻而居的中国与朝鲜从古至今一直保持着密切的文化交流。在从中国传入朝鲜的文化思想精髓中,对朝鲜社会产生深远影响的莫过于儒教文明。本文拟按时间顺序,再现儒教在朝鲜的传入与发展过程。     

影响中国图书馆文化的因素分析

从图书馆文化所处的社会环境角度出发探索影响中国图书馆文化发展变化的关键因素。指出社会文化、政治经济、技术是对图书馆文化生存与发展影响最为深刻的几个方面,它不仅提供了图书馆文化存在的必要物质基础,而且也给图书馆文化可持续发展提供了丰富的精神内涵。     

从协商民主制度的提出看中共意识形态转型

结合中国共产党第十八次代表大会关于健全社会主义协商民主制度的具体内容,强调协商民主制度的提出对于中国共产党意识形态转型的里程碑式的意义。从突破中共传统意识形态框架、承认当代社会价值多元、利益分化以及发挥社会组织自治功能的角度分析中共意识形态转型的必要性。在此基础上挖掘协商民主制度对中共意识形态转型的实践意义。以新的角度重新审视协商民主制度,以图唤起各界对于中共意识形态转型的重视。     

Pursuing justice for refugee students: addressing issues of cultural (mis)recognition

In this paper Nancy Fraser’s conceptual tools are drawn on to theorise issues of justice in a culturally diverse primary school in Australia where approximately 30% of the student population are immigrant/refugees. The paper examines justice issues of cultural recognition in relation to refugee student identity, behaviour and assessment. Drawing on interview data from a study that sought to identify productive approaches to addressing equity for refugee students, the paper highlights the school’s efforts to remedy issues of cultural misrecognition associated with an equation of refugee student difference and marginality with deficit and lack. Such efforts relate to the school’s endeavours to create an inclusive and socially cohesive environment that supports a valuing of, and connection to, refugee student difference. These endeavours are theorised as highly productive in their capacity to disrupt the relations of cultural domination, non-recognition and disrespect that exclude and/or malign some refugee students at the school and broader level. The paper argues the importance of such an approach in light of the unprecedented diversity and complexity of the global context where schools are consistently challenged with new and changing equity concerns and priorities.     

School Choice Discourse and the Legacy of Brown

ABSTRACT

Fifty years after the Browndecision, and in the context of persistent racial and economic segregation and inequality in schooling, it is still important to examine Brown's legacy. In this focus on school choice, the rhetoric and the ways in which the legacy of Brownhas been emphatically invoked in charter school and voucher debates is studied. Four ways in which Brownis currently raised in school choice debates are identified. Through an examination of these four narratives, the ways in which the school choice debate provides a current, active space for the rethinking of the civil rights movement and its symbols, goals, and legacies are examined.

教育界党外代表人士的现状与作用发挥——基于孝感市教育界的调查

教育界的统战工作是党的统一战线工作的重要基础,充分发挥教育界民主党派、无党派人士的作用具有十分重要的意义。文章通过对孝感市教育界民主党派、无党派人士的现状与作用调查结果的分析,指出了孝感市教育界民主党派、无党派人士参政议政中存在的问题,提出了发挥其积极作用的途径与措施。     

Teaching gender and sexuality diversity in foundations of education courses in the US

This article is a summary of comprehensive units on gender and sexuality diversity that the authors have used in teacher education courses in undergraduate and graduate social foundations of education classes over several years. The course lesson plan includes a five‐part analysis of the following categories: biological sex; gender identity/sexual identity; gender roles; sexual behavior; and sexual orientation. The authors have experienced much success and positive student evaluation by using this approach. This is true even in religiously and politically conservative universities. The authors introduce the complexity of biology, gender roles, and gender identity, before addressing human sexuality. This helps to diffuse many stereotypes and misconceptions in the initial lessons.
