高校旅游管理专业实践性教学探究--以贵州省为例

近年来,随着贵州人民生活水平的提高,贵州人民越来越注意精神生活需求的满足。同时,随着全国交通系统的日益完善与贵州旅游业发展的吸引,越来越多的外地人开始踏足贵州各个景点。二者的结合既推动了贵州旅游业的发展,也对旅游专业人才需求提出了更高的要求。但贵州高校的旅游管理专业教学活动、教学效果还存在一定的问题,特别是对于学生的实践性教学做得不够,很难培养出现阶段旅游行业发展所需要的复合型人才。故此,要推进贵州旅游业的发展,就必须做好贵州高校的旅游管理专业的实践性教学改革与推广工作。     

A Latent Growth Curve Approach to Investigating Developmental Dynamics and Correlates of Change in Children's Perceptions of Physical Competence

Abstract

In both the physical and academic domains interest has recently grown regarding developmental change in children's perceptions of competence. Recent advances in statistical methodology, such as latent growth modeling, enable the researcher to analyze developmental trends from both an inter- and intraindividual perspective, thus serving to increase our understanding of correlates of change in perceived competence. Using latent growth modeling, the purpose of the present study was to investigate developmental change in children's perceived competence at physical skills, examining maturational factors and chronological age as possible correlates of change. Subjects were male adolescents (N = 94). Data were collected during the child's sixth, eighth, and ninth grade school years. Results revealed a good fit for the hypothesized model, which specified mean level changes in the variables over time and an interrelationship among the latent chronometric common factors. Although a significant relationship existed between maturation and perceived competence, no significant relationship was evident between chronological age and perceived competence. Findings are discussed with particular reference to the utility of latent growth curve models for assessing developmental processes at both the inter- and intraindividual level.     

The Development of Skill and Knowledge During a Sport Education Season of Track and Field Athletics

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relative effectiveness of 2 forms of physical education instruction on students' skill and technical performance, as well as content knowledge in 3 track and field events. Method: Students from 6 classes in 3 Portuguese schools completed 900-min units conducted under the auspices of sport education or a more traditional teacher-directed format. Classes were randomly assigned to these conditions within each school. Results: Although both groups improved significantly from pretest to posttest, the sport education classes outperformed the traditional classes in both technique and skill execution. Only the sport education group made significant improvements in content knowledge. When the students in the traditional group were tested at the point in time where they would usually complete a unit of physical education (450 min), there were no significant improvements in any of the study's variables. Conclusion: The explanation given for the superior performance outcomes of the sport education classes lies in the nature of formal competition and team affiliation, which are cornerstones of this pedagogical model. That is, students take their learning experiences more seriously than in traditional and often inauthentic classes. In terms of content knowledge, the fact that sport education has a level of content-embedded accountability that holds students accountable for their officiating duties is postulated as a significant contributor to their increased understanding of rules and protocols of athletic events.     

The human factor in the historical development of the media: Israeli sports pages as a case study 1

The current study attempts to present a unique, initial contribution to existing models of communication media's historical development, by calling attention to the parallel processes taking place within the journalist community itself. By means of in-depth interviews with male and female sports journalists in Israel, breakthrough, establishment, defense and adaptation mechanisms to a new journalistic reality can be identified as part of the generational and societal changes that have taken place in the newsroom.     

Validation of Weinbach's and Hanavan's Models for Computation of Physical Properties of the Forearm

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to validate the Weinbach and the Hanavan models for the determinations of the forearm volume and center of mass. The study was conducted using 20 forearms from six male and four female cadavers. Results from the present investigation indicate that Weinbach's model is more accurate than Hanavan's model in estimating forearm volume and center of mass. The relative location of the center of mass and the center of volume was also investigated with the Weinbach model and these centers were found to coincide. The Hanavan model should be used only in the cases where the shape of the forearm closely resembles that of a truncated cone.
