美国电子文件档案馆是一项以电子文件的接受、保管、长期存取为主要目的的系统工程。本文首先分析了美国电子文件档案馆工程的设计原则、前期准备工作和系统实现的功能。在此基础上,笔者对该系统的开发策略和可借鉴的经验进行了总结。最后,笔者对我国数字档案馆建设提出了几点建议。

Macroappraisal Kiwi Style: Reflections on the Impact and Future of Macroappraisal in New Zealand

Both macroappraisal and the Australian records continuum-based DIRKS methodology have been influential in the New Zealand debate on appraisal in recent years. The primary influence of macroappraisal has been in the area of prioritisation of appraisal work. This paper considers New Zealand thinking on prioritisation, and the influences of risk management and functional analysis on this issue. A lack of agreement on the purpose of appraisal in the professional literature is noted, and some personal suggestions are offered on a model taking elements from macroappraisal and other methodologies.     

Update: The Invisible Farmer: securing Australian farm women’s history

This article reviews the Invisible Farmer project – the largest study of Australian women on the land – a third of the way through its three year funding period. It introduces the aims of this collaborative and multidisciplinary project, focusing on the role of records and oral histories in the creation of new narratives, and the task of raising public awareness of the important historical and contemporary contributions made by Australian women farmers. We examine the way digital platforms work to curate records and promote research, and outline the important role that the Australian Women’s Register, a core project of the Australian Women’s Archives Project, will play in achieving outcomes.     

信息科学研究中档案研究的边缘化问题及其突破——基于对iConference2017的分析与思考

2017年3月22日至25日,iConference在中国武汉召开。以此次实际参会经验和会议文本分析为基础,本文提出,在信息社会,档案研究在信息科学研究中正在呈现日趋明显的边缘化发展态势,这将不利于档案研究自身的健康发展以及其与相关学科展开有效对话。在对突破这种边缘化的契机进行分析的基础上,本文对档案研究的未来发展提出了建议,即强调档案研究应该重新找准定位,拓宽研究领域和研究范围,最终建立其在信息科学研究中的话语空间。     

基于文件连续体理论模型的“第五维度理论”

从文件生命周期理论到文件连续体理论,档案界对文件运动形式的理解从线性向多维转变。在后现代主义档案观的影响和跨界合作的时代背景下,四维的文件连续体理论模型逐渐向五维演变。本文以加拿大档案学者勒梅教授及其团队提出的“第五维度理论”为基础,认为应该充分考虑利用者在档案工作流程中的作用,同时将对档案的“探索”性开发看成是对文件连续体理论模型的第五个维度。
