Demands for institutional accountability in higher education have been increasing and have led to greater attention to the evaluation of teaching, the assumption being that improved teaching will result in enhanced learning. In our work as academic developers, we are increasingly helping academic managers make explicit teaching policies and practices that seem fair and equitable. To help us in this work, we have developed a framework for evaluating the practice of teaching. What is unique about this framework is the language it provides to differentiate aspects of teaching. For instance, it provides a basis for differentiating and linking criteria to standards, i.e. the level of achievement desired or expected. Standards are critical if the evaluation of teaching is to be seen as fair and equitable, yet they are often unexamined in other representations of the evaluation of teaching. Although the original intent of our efforts was to provide a framework for academic managers, we have come to find it useful in our own work as university teachers and as academic developers. Considering both the characteristics of construction scheme evaluation and the lack of consideration of index proportionality after introducing comprehensive evaluation of independent perspectives into construction scheme evaluation, a construction scheme evaluation model of independent perspectives was put forward through the study and optimization of comprehensive evaluation of independent perspectives. The feasibility and rationality of the optimized method were illustrated through a case study and the evaluation results were compared between the optimized method and non-optimized method. The purpose of this research paper is to identify the factors affecting the effectiveness of Moodle from the students' perspective. The research hypotheses derived from the suggested extended Seddon model have been empirically validated using the responses to a survey on e-learning usage among 255 users. We tested the model across higher education institutions in Serbia, Lithuania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. These responses have been examined through partial-least squares. The obtained results strongly support 16 of the 23 research hypotheses for the proposed e-learning model. We defined eight factors (behavioral intention to use in the future, communicativeness, format, information quality, performance outcome, perceived usefulness, satisfaction and system quality) in the initial theoretical e-learning model. Unexpectedly, system and information quality did not influence satisfaction, while communicativeness had the highest significant impact on performance outcome. Satisfaction had a significant effect on behavior intention and accounted for 68.4% of the variance in this area. The findings offer an insight into those factors that are likely significant antecedents for planning and implementing a Moodle e-learning system to enhance student-learning effectiveness.  相似文献

A large number of studies in CMC have assessed how social interaction, processes and learning outcomes are intertwined. The present research explores how the degree of self-determination of learners, that is the motivational orientation of a learner, influences the communication and interaction patterns in an online Problem Based Learning environment. Given the complexity of CMC, we expected that autonomous learners would be more willing to contribute to cognitive discourse. In time, we expected that control-oriented learners would develop a preferential attachment to contribute to discourse from autonomous learners. Data were gathered from 37 autonomous and 39 control-oriented learners who posted 1669 messages. Using a dynamic multi-method approach of content analysis of cognitive and social discourse, social network analysis, and measures of academic motivation, we find some preliminary evidence that motivational orientation influences communication and social interaction patterns amongst learners. From the beginning, most control-oriented learners develop a preference to connect to and communicate with autonomous learners, although a separate team-analysis indicates that group dynamics also influence how learners develop connections with other learners in time. Our findings further the understanding of differences found in distance learning courses about participation and drop-out.  相似文献

西方哲学家认为语言与存在是内在同一的,作为"存在的存在"只是存在于语言中,语言是存在的本体论依据。海德格尔将语言视作"此在"敞亮自身的存在方式,"此在"由语言本身所蕴藏着的内在丰富性语义所牵引,聆听、领悟并应和着这种本然所是的存在意蕴。而在伽达默尔看来,能被理解的存在就是语言,凡是能被语言表述的东西并不存在于它自身之内,而是存在于它所表述的语言中并作为被理解的东西而存在。人及人的世界生成并存在于语言中,语言是存在的直接显现,语言与存在的内生性关系,构成了西方哲学发展的语言学视域和存在论根基。  相似文献

人眼在观看物象时,会产生视觉形象近大远小等视觉生理现象。中西人为了准确描绘物象,更好地表达绘画的创作意图,经过长期实践,各自总结出一套行之有效的透视方法,但由于文化因素,中西传统绘画中呈现的透视原理和表现方法存在较大差异。文章从中西透视产生的理论、根源、演变、应用及融合等几方面,分析了中西透视的特征与差异,力求使习画者在全面认知透视的基础上,合理应用透视关系,有效提升绘画创作的表现力。  相似文献
