功能语篇分析浅谈

基于Halliday系统功能语言学中的文化语境和情境语境及其对应的纯理功能理论,就马丁·路德·金(Martin Luther King)在林肯纪念堂前向25万人发表了著名的演说《I have a dream》的一段节选进行语篇分析,说明其在上述方面意义和信息传达上的语篇特点。     

Que Luchen por sus Intereses (To Fight for Your Interests): Unearthing Critical Counter-Narratives of Spanish-Speaking Immigrant Parents

This article reports on findings from a year-long research project conducted during the 2012–2013 school year in a PK–12 school district, located in the Mountain West region of the United States, utilizing the Photovoice method. The findings in the project point to the important critical counter-narratives Spanish-speaking immigrant parents present to the larger school community when given the opportunity to have their voices and perspectives heard and recorded in written form. The article provides teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff in schools and school districts with insight into the hopes and aspirations of Spanish-speaking immigrant parents and highlights educational practices that address issues of equity and access, as seen through the eyes of the participants in the study.

澳大利亚TAFE职业教育的课程体系和课程模式对我国高职院校教学改革具有重要启示,它以职业岗位工作分析为基础,具有能力导向、多样情境化任务驱动的特点。阐述TAFE多样情境化课程教学模式对我国高职课程教学改革的借鉴意义,通过实例探讨这种模式在国内高职财经专业课程教学中的实用性。     

Questions and positions on education for sustainable development at university in France: example of short professional cycles

The questions focus on the emergence of education for sustainable development in the French university. The case study discusses the curricular examination of the Bachelor of Territory Professional Planning in 17 universities and the diachronic evolution, between 2001 and 2011, of their educational content around sustainable development. The analysis leads to a reflection on the specificity of French contexts, compared to international positions. Indeed, the legitimacy of the education provided is queried against the economization of the educational sphere. Didactic problems are posed by the reduction of distances between social practices and knowledge mobilized for the teachings. The evolution of the ‘school form’ and the specific place of ‘educations for’ in the framework of the institution are questioned.     

Assisting Performance in Teaching and Learning

Although Vygotskian principles involving the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) are hailed as tenets undergirding teaching and learning within a constructivist setting, these principals have not been implemented widely within school classrooms. Tharp and Gallimore, building on the notion that learning can be maximized when a teacher has a heightened awareness of a student's ZPD and stimulates new learning based upon this understanding, argue that true teaching is a matter of “assisting performance”. This study examines the efforts of one university instructor to assist the performance of her graduate students as they learned to teach, scaffold and support struggling readers. The findings suggest that the university instructor successfully assisted her students by providing supportive feedback, extending their learning and providing appropriate resources through ongoing Email correspondence and face‐to‐face meetings and tutoring sessions. Success was attributed to the instructor's extensive knowledge of supporting struggling readers, awareness of her students' ZPD's in relation to the context of their learning and her efforts to consistently provide appropriate and specific feedback through iterative dialogue.     

促进推理和批评阅读能力的实证研究———以篇章语境的认知建构为视角

任何篇章都是语境的产物,语言语境、情景语境和文化语境构成篇章的意义基础。通过篇章语境层次的认知和建构来隐性地促进推理阅读能力和批评阅读能力,是英语专业高年级阶段阅读能力提高的尝试性途径之一。高级英语课程为这一实验教学提供理想的研究背景,在教学内容框架上展开对作品相关的各类语境的建构和分析,在教学组织模式上基于建构主义理念下的主题教学模式。实验教学结果显示：语境认知建构促进学生推理阅读能力和批评阅读能力的提高,有助于学生概述能力的培养,实验后调查表明学生主观上对语境认知建构教学总体持赞同态度。

运用语用学理论研究古诗用典,认为将诗语语境和典故语境进行比照,是解读古诗典故预设以及诗歌文本意义的一个可行办法。     

Counselling Families Affected by Socio-Political Factors and Economic Hardships

This article discusses the contemporary stressful situations faced by families in many parts of the developing world due to war and armed conflicts and displacement of families due to mega development projects. While it highlights that both lead to impoverishment of people, it points out that the basic differences in the situation of families facing war and armed conflicts and displacement due to development projects, and outlines a few broad contexts of counselling when working with victims of war and displaces of development projects.
