当代大学教育面临的困惑与改进思路

近年来,大学在＂适应＂和＂紧跟＂时代步伐的过程中,模糊了自身的根本职责,产生了许多困惑。大学应该合理定位教育职责,强化教学,注重与社会的实际交流,争取社会各层次群体正确理解大学教育,消除过多的急功近利思想,给予大学教育客观公正的评价。

党和政府历来重视高校思想政治理论课的建设,由于不同时期高校思想政治理论课在大学生思想政治工作中承担的特殊责任不同,从新中国成立至今高校思想政治理论课经过了几次大的调整。特别是新时期,面对复杂的国内外形势,高校思想政治理论课进行了大幅度的改革,承担着更加艰巨的特殊责任。     

高职院校学报编辑的社会责任——基于编辑的视角

针对已有的对编辑社会责任的理论研究和实践探索,大多是基于编辑外部俯瞰编辑的单一视角,而基于微观层面的编辑视角,高职院校学报更应注重编辑承担社会责任的实现途径,理解并重视高职院校学报编辑的社会角色和处境,注重对编辑社会责任行为的引导以及加强对编辑的社会责任教育等方面。     

论大学生在文化软实力创建中的责任担当

随着国家对外开放的加深,社会转型的推进,经济的迅猛发展,"文化软实力"作为一个新概念被提出并受到社会各界尤其是学界的热切关注。大学生作为先进文化的载体和代表之一,理应在文化软实力创建中发挥应有的作用。然而,大学生目前正遭遇着传统文化与当代文化相互纠结带来的思想冲突,培植其责任担当成为当务之急。     

Integrating theory and practice in the pre-service teacher education practicum

This article reports on a study into student teachers’ perceptions about their professional development during practicum. Framed within a symbolic interactionist perspective, the study examined to what extent, and how effectively, one group of student teachers was able to integrate theory and practice during a three-week practicum in the first year of their degree. The context for this mixed methods study was a Master of Teaching, graduate-level entry programme in the Faculty of Education at an urban Australian university. Although there is a strong field of literature around the practicum in pre-service teacher education, there has been a limited focus on how student teachers themselves perceive their development during this learning period. Further, despite widespread and longstanding acknowledgement of the ‘gap’ between theory and practice in teacher education, there is still more to learn about how well the practicum enables an integration of these two dimensions of teacher preparation. In presenting three major findings of the study, this paper goes some way in addressing these shortcomings in the literature. First, participants in this study largely valued both the theoretical and practical components of their programme, which stands in contrast to the commonly identified tendency of the student teacher to privilege practice over theory. Second, opportunities to integrate theory and practice were varied, with many participants reporting the detrimental impact of an apparent lack of clarity around stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities. Third, participants overwhelmingly supported the notion of linking university coursework assessment to the practicum as a means of bridging the gap between, on the one hand, the university and the school and, on the other hand, theory and practice.

我国高等教育发展动力系统的演进与优化

高等教育发展动力系统是指影响高等教育全面履行功能的各种动力因素的构成及其相互之间联系和作用的方式和原理。无论是世界科技革命、产业革命的浪潮还是国内新时代的新矛盾、新战略和新任务,都对高等教育发展动力系统的整体适应性和运行有效性提出了更高的要求。建构责任与利益均衡的机制,激发不同利益主体的积极性和创造性;重建权力分配格局和制约机制,实现约束力与驱动力的平衡;优化制度体系与优化制度伦理相结合,促进公平与效率的协调,是我国高等教育发展动力系统优化的基本方向与重要任务。     

Make or break: the role and support needs of academic advisors in work-integrated learning courses

ABSTRACT

The role of academic advisors in work-integrated learning courses is crucial to student success, yet poorly understood. This research aimed to understand the role and support needs of academic advisors by conducting interviews, a survey, and a focus group within a service learning program in Queensland, Australia. Participants identified rewards in observing student transformation and supporting students to contribute to social justice causes. However, the role had high demands in terms of pastoral support. Although academic advisors reported strong support mechanisms, they identified gaps in supporting them to meet the needs of international students and students with mental health issues. Academic advisors need strong mentoring or supervisory support to deal with diverse student issues, clear processes for tracking and managing students, training and resources to deal with special needs students, and opportunities for team building and bonding. Supporting academic advisors could help to better support students to successfully complete internships.     

论企业社会责任的法律性质

企业社会责任在20世纪80年代重提并成为一个全球性的社会运动,其法律背景主要表现为所有权与生存权在全球化过程中的深刻冲突。企业社会责任运动以及其具体形式的“企业生产守则运动”,正是在全球化背景下,为协调劳资关系、保障劳工的生存权而形成的一种社会行动。企业的社会责任,就其本质而言是指企业对于社会所应承担的法律责任,就其责任范围而言,则主要是指对于企业内部劳动关系调整和劳工权益的实现所应承担的责任。企业社会责任的法律性质,决定了这一运动并非只是改善劳动者的“利益”,而是要实现劳动者在企业生产过程中的“权利”。因而,在企业社会责任的实施中,要防止雇主企图通过“企业生产守则”来实现对于工人的控制和对于传统劳工运动的替代或排斥的倾向。为保证企业社会责任的健康发展,必须将企业社会责任纳入劳动法制轨道。
