关于发展性教学评价的理性思考

本文针对目前评价领域可能出现的极端化倾向,提出了发展性教学评价应该树立的评价理念以及应该坚持的评价原则。

初中理科教学中,落实情感目标存在着重认知、轻情感;功利主义;学习缺乏吸引力等现象。其原因有教师方面的,也有考试评价方面的。要使情感目标落到实处,课堂教学过程是关键,同时评价方式与内容力求多元化,以及提高教师的自身素质。     

Using Google Forms to track library space usage

This article is a response to the excellent “Using Mobile Technology to Observe Student Study Behaviors and Track Library Space Usage” by Susan Thompson. Thompson reviews the literature regarding user counts on mobile devices and describes the California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) Library's evaluation of SUMA, Counter+, and CloudOn. After trialing these mobile technologies, CSUSM selected CloudOn. At New York University Abu Dhabi, we use Google Forms to conduct user counts on an iPad and Google Sheets to evaluate these data. We find that Google Forms are easy to set up, modify as necessary, and present the data in easy-to-manipulate spreadsheets.     

Teaching Them to Teach: Programmatic Evaluation of Graduate Assistants’ Teaching Performance

Academic libraries are one of the most important sources of “on the job” training for future library instructors. Librarians who supervise and assess these future library instructors (often in graduate assistant positions) often choose to provide observations and feedback each semester to these instructors in training. Scholarly literature, however, provides little information on whether this system helps graduate assistants to develop as teachers. The authors of this article assessed graduate assistants’ performance as teachers over three semesters using a system of observation and self-assessment. They analyzed both patterns and areas of growth and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of this system.     

Big Data – What is it and why it matters

Big data, like MOOCs, altmetrics and open access, is a term that has been commonplace in the library community for some time yet, despite its prevalence, many in the library and information sector remain unsure of the relationship between big data and their roles. This editorial explores what big data could mean for the day‐to‐day practice of health library and information workers, presenting examples of big data in action, considering the ethics of accessing big data sets and the potential for new roles for library and information workers.

学生评价教师课堂教学质量是实现教学质量自我监控的重要环节之一,有助于保证教育服务质量的稳步上升、学生的健康成长与教师教育水平的提高。但由于种种原因,学生评教时往往会出现评价目的不明、评价形式单一、评价内容片面等诸多问题。要真正实现学生评教的价值,必须对这些问题进行分析,并找出相应的解决方案。     

科学知识观与教师创新能力养成——社会建构论视野中的科学知识性质解析及启示

在众多教师的观念中,科学知识是具有“客观性”、“价值中立性”、“普遍正确性”等特性的,由此造成教师创新意识淡薄,教师教育研究相对滞后,教师缺乏对知识及课程的反思、批判、追问与探究,致使教师不能清醒、深刻地认识到“科学霸权”、“知识霸权”的存在。从社会建构论的视野来看,科学知识是社会建构的,是具有“社会性”、“价值性”、“境域性”等特性的。清醒、深刻地认识到这一点,对于更新教师的科学知识观、使教师养成创新意识及能力,深化教师教育研究等,具有十分重要的理论与现实意义。

影响武夷学建设的心理障蔽探析

从社会心理学的角度分析，影响武夷学建设的心理障蔽主要有：(1)欠发达的经济影响下的自卑心理，(2)“阳春白雪”与“下里巴人”的成见，(3)“门第观念”的认识局限，(4)学术敏感与治学惯性之间的矛盾心理，(5)教学范围与学科壁垒等因素制约下的排他心理。但是，只要充分整合资源，团结协作，多出优秀成果，充分挖掘和揭示武夷学的学科内涵及其价值，利用组建武夷学院的有利时机，提高对创建武夷学意义的认识；加强舆论宣传力度，扩大影响，就有可能突破障蔽。     

孙膑对孙子兵学的贡献

孙膑是继孙子后战国时期的著名军事家,有兵书《孙膑兵法》传世。《孙子兵法》所反映的战争理论带有明显的战国色彩,孙膑是孙武兵学的宗室传人。同时,孙膑又是一名杰出的战将,在历史上留下了诸多运用兵法的典型战例,在丰富作战经历基础上总结而成的《孙膑兵法》,在战争观问题、战略战术问题、治军建军问题上都对孙子兵法有所继承和发展,孙膑对于孙子兵法的丰富和发展有着显著的贡献。
